I was going to apply through this broker. thankfully I read the reviews before doing so!!

please, and intervene because the company you work with has been collecting money from my account illegally! Cancellations are ineffective! I had to block the card and report fraud in my bank, the e-mails are not answered by the savercity company ... the phone is answered by random people who do not know the answer to any question asked! I think that cooperation with this company may spoil your reputation. Regards, Alicja Gmyrek

Finance broker that releases your details to every other finance broker around. I wouldn't waste your time.

Not a lender more like a spammer with friends. All these clowns do is collect your personal details store them and get a silly amount of companies to spam you with emails and phone calls instantly. Typical middle man behaviour trying to earn commission for doing nothing but bullying a customer. STAY AWAY NOT WORTH THE HASSLE

Confirmed my suspicions as received many calls from this company.... they are a scam

I have never used a broker before, nor was I aware it was a broker to begin with, as I was getting a quote from a loan company who referred me via URL to Aspire to check other loans via a partner (the loan company was legit, so I trusted they weren't going to send me anywhere dodgy).

But a few points:
- I wanted to check online to see what I was eligible for to aid my decision whether or not to take a loan.
- A handful of loans auto-accepted
- I made my decision and left it there, expecting nothing more.
- My contact details were given out to all of these loan companies and there was no option on contact preferences. Being a person of big social anxiety issues, I'd actually much prefer to do things via email, it's also the reason I was doing this online
- I use Truecaller to block spam calls on my phone and I don't answer 'spam' calls
- Turns out Aspire and the loan companies that have accepted those applications were trying to contact me. I've had spam emails from one, spam calls from another and spam texts from a few and these were all marked as 'spam', so initially I didn't answer any of them. But it was more frequent, so I ended up looking into it.
- I returned Aspire's call, I explained I was not interested. And they said they would cancel it down.
- But since I've got missed calls from one of the loan companies they matched me with. I figured that maybe there was perhaps a delay in between the two companies talking and thought nothing of it.
- I then got a call a week later on my landline from one of the loan companies, which concerns me because I made the point of /not/ giving out my landline for my own reasons, plus mobile is how to get me as I am not home during work hours. The lady told me she got it from Aspire. Whilst I am willing to account for a margin of error on my part, I am 95% certain I didn't give this information and if the case, that's not good.

This experience makes me worried they're not GDPR or FCA compliant (even if I mistakenly gave my landline, I still have that worry) and worried what else might have happened to the data I've given them.

Their number is a London one, so I expect they are calling from the UK.

If they are compliant, then from a customer perspective it has really put me off, but if I didn't get that call on my landline and get those calls after saying "I'm not interested", I'd have not left a review. But if you're potentially looking for a loan, the last thing you want is to be badgered and spammed (which I am pretty sure GDPR was meant to stop).

In terms of actual service, it works well enough, it quickly hooks you up with a enough loan companies for an idea of comparison and in that respect it was painless. I looked into the ones that were matched and none of the ones used came across as dodgy after looking them up, all seemed to be legit, so it's possible the actual loan broking service is decent & reliable (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but the stuff I listed above to me rings alarm bells that would have me caution anybody interested in trying it to be aware.

Terrible experience.
I needed a loan urgently for a funeral and they wasted 2 days of my time telling me i've been accepted by this lender or that one, however once i got in contact with said lender they never offered me the amount aspire money told me i've been approved for.
Waste of time and my contact details are probably being sold right now.
