Beware 7 day trial

Accidentally let the trial run over into a subscription and was charged nearly £300. They completely refuse to refund that.

If the customer makes a mistake and has not used the product - a decent company should offer to refund it as a gesture of goodwill - rather than charging for a full year of a product that won't be used.

Take the money from people that use your service, not from people that accidentally signed up..

Just nasty business practice.

If this happens to you - check your local laws eg. The 14 day cooling off period. You may have some protection.

Starting a new Podcast…

Starting a new business is nerve racking enough, and starting a podcast for the time representing my business was a key marketing objective, time to market was also important. Podcastle made that experience far easier than originally imagined, so i could then focus on other areas. The feedback from people on the podcast has been extremely positive.

I used Podcastle.ai to transcribe…

I used Podcastle.ai to transcribe interviews for my academic research, and it worked extremely well — I even completed a scientific paper with its help. The transcription quality was accurate and saved me a lot of time.

I initially had an issue with the trial cancellation and billing, but after contacting support they provided me with an 11-month refund while keeping one month charged. I feel this was a fair solution and appreciate the professionalism of the team.

Overall, Podcastle.ai is an excellent tool for researchers, creators, and professionals who need reliable transcription. I would definitely recommend it!

Blatant thieving on professional scale

Your scam merchants simple.
You take what you xall subscriptions way to easily even when you have faults with the app.
You do nit explain subscriptions start 7 days in or that payment is immediate.
Your refusal to give refunds is criminal which verifies your corrupt system. You are thieving scum.
You dont care as long as you take money added to faulty app which you know has issues.
I truly hope pay back is justified as it will happen sooner the better

Hostile and predatory business practices. Disrespectful customer services I think it might be a shell of some kind. Mixed/low results compared to competitors too. Adobe Podcast is free and better!

Amazing tech support and customer service

The biggest plus for Podcastle is their customer service/tech support. Any problem I've ever had (which is most often user-generated), they have helped me resolve easily and efficiently. The platform is easy to use and I am very satisfied with how my podcasts turn out every week (both audio and video versions).

Near Perfect Voice

Pod castle is the best

Made mgmt of pods easier and simple to plug and use.

Podcastle has made mgmt and creation of my work really simple. I signed up to an annual plan for 2 pods and I self edit using their AI tools, which is great for sound. For video, they quality is already there. I use it multiple times a week. No real criticsims other than it is so big that I do not think I fully use all the tools yet. But I will in time.

The issue is simple: after upgrading and paying, I still had two download options — one with a watermark and one without. This is not a case of a downgraded account; it’s a fault in their system.

Instead of investigating the actual bug, their team deflects responsibility, invents explanations, and ignores direct client feedback. This pattern — dismissing reports rather than fixing the root issue — shows a lack of technical understanding and accountability.

Horrible product experience, no refunds, scam

Truly horrible product experience. Their audio didn't wor. I tried to cancel immediately after they tried to charge me for a year and they wouldn't give me a refund under any circumstances. They charged me $287 for a year. Beware this is a scam!

After reviewing your case, we can confirm that the charge was applied after the 7-day trial ended. Our system automatically calculates the 7-day period from the moment the trial starts, and once the trial expires, the full plan charge is processed. At that point, we’re unable to issue refunds, which is why our support team explained the situation.

That said, we do see that you tried to cancel right around the billing date, and we understand why that timing feels unfair. While we have to follow our refund policy, we’ve flagged your case with our product and billing teams so they can review how cancellations and trial cut-offs are displayed. Your feedback is valid, and we’re working on making the process clearer to avoid this kind of confusion in the future.

I reported a fraudulent subscription to this company and showed them there was no usage and they refuse to refund the $149 stolen from me stating "Hi there 👋

I want to gather people who’s been deceived and not refunded and file a class action lawsuit against this companies practices they are predator practices must end.
