Terrible service.
Went to Atkins today to purchase a lawnmower which was available on the website. Firstly I had to ask for service as the salesperson was free but didn’t approach me or offer assistance. The salesperson continued sitting at the desk and didn’t get up. When I enquired about the mower I was told they have the mowers but not the batteries. I asked when they would get stock in and was literally told ‘I don’t know, that’s up to Honda’. I asked if the batteries could be purchased elsewhere and received no response at all. The salesperson literally ignored the question and went back to the items on his desk.
I asked for clarification and was told a different answer than earlier. The salesperson advised that the unit they have is on hold for ‘a man who is going to come back for it when I let him know the batteries are available’. This implied to me that this was an available service so I waited to be offered the same option but…nothing.
Maybe if I was ‘a man’, that level of service would be available to me!
To be clear, no issue with the wait for the product, supply issues can’t be helped sometimes but absolutely disgusted by the service and the treatment I felt I received.
Customer service disgraceful, avoid.
