All experiences have actually been excellent with the exception of my last delivery.
The Chelse Boits, on one seemingly the quality of putting together was somewhat off.

I took a chance ordering from here since they gave so many options for customizing a pair of balmorals, and not only did they turn out beautifully, but they also fit perfectly! For someone who needed to order a size 5, I am not often lucky enough to find a perfect fit. I also loved the periodic updates during the production process! Thank you very much!

Shoes are beautiful works of art and craftsmanship

Easy-to-use software with a wide variety of materials to choose from. Most importantly a beautifully crafted shoe was delivered to my home within a couple wks. Love them!

The look and quality of the shoe are "exceptional"; however, the size 8 1/2 which is my wife's normal size are "too small". Having them streched by a shoe shop did not help. Perhaps my wife should have ordered a size 9. Maybe that would have worked. At $299 for the shoe, I cannot afford Maybe.

Everything was great, except the boots I ordered had the wrong outer soles. I ordered them with the, "recycled", soles. Other than that, I had a good experience. I am in bad health right now, and can not give this issue any more attention.

Everything promised by Robert August was fulfilled. Great company, my new shoe company. 👍

My customer service experience with Robert August was superb. The shoes I ordered came on time and were exactly what I was looking for in a custom-made shoe. Everything was manufactured according to my exacting specifications. The shoes arrived within the 4-8 week period. The online shopping experience was easy to navigate, which was important since the saddle shoes I ordered required some subtle maneuvering on the computer interface. And Robert August is a well-run, well-respected company within the area of custom-made shoes. I would definitely purchase shoes from them again, and I have no other comments save for good ones. but given how and where they’re made, and the versatility of design options, they are a good value.

Really nice shoe. Even smells freshly made. Sizer app said I was 13. Never worn a 13. It’s a little big. Should have purchased the size I normally wear but thought since it was being made custom the app knew better.
