Auris (formerly Heartland) payroll performed very poorly for our small company. I would not recommend them based on my experience. Once they sent me (30) W2 forms for another company, told me to shred them, and then subsequently demanded that I sent them the shredded material. After we moved to a neighboring state, they continued to make UC deductions for the original state for a period.

I love working with Auris because I have a real person to talk with anytime I have questions. The payroll software is simple and intuitive, and I have never had an issue that couldn't be immediately resolved. I have used other big name payroll companies in the past, and Auris is hands down the best experience I have had.

Auris has made my payroll very easy. All I have to do is login every 2 weeks and submit hours. They do everything else from sending out checks to paying the payroll taxes on time and correctly. I highly recommend Auris for anyone wanting to simplify payroll.
