I asked to unenrol in my course and was declined because they claimed I would have used the content to resell it else where despite not accessing any part of the course. I offered to provide supporting documents to verify why I couldn’t continue and wasnt in circumstances that would allow me to utilise and finish the course and was declined. I still have to pay $90 a week to a third party company I can’t cancel or access to understand how much I’m paying for this course I never accessed and don’t want to access. I even explained my financial situation that I wasn’t even able to afford for the course and was still declined exit. I had to move houses because I couldn’t afford it on top of the repayments. This is a trap. The prices aren’t transparent, I cannot get out of these repayments despite not having the ‘12 month access’ to this course anymore. Please don’t enrol in this. I wish I never did.

Hi Hannah, We’re sorry to hear you feel this way about your experience. After reviewing your enrolment, it looks like you were approximately six months into your course — having completed 68% of your Eyelash Extensions course and 34% of your Makeup course. Because of this, your request to cancel was declined in line with our terms, which allow a 3-day cooling-off period after enrolment.
Your repayments are managed through Zeefi, who can provide details on the balance and repayment schedule directly. When you enrolled, you would have received and signed documentation from Zeefi outlining the weekly or fortnightly payment amounts.
We also have a legal obligation to be transparent during the enrolment and compliance process, ensuring all fees and terms are clearly explained. If you believe this wasn’t the case during your call, we’d be more than happy to review it for you.
Additionally, I can’t see any record of you requesting a course extension. We’re always understanding of students’ situations and regularly grant extensions — sometimes up to 12 months — for those progressing through their studies. If you reach out via our Help Site, I’d be glad to look into your account personally and arrange extra time so you can complete your course without added stress.

DONT EVER DO IT
I wish there was a way to give negative stars because one star is far too generous for what I experienced with Australian Beauty School. I enrolled thinking I was investing in my future, chasing a dream career in the beauty industry. Instead, I was handed a nightmare that drained my money, my energy, and my confidence.
The course materials are beyond pathetic. Outdated, poorly written, and filled with errors — it’s as if they were thrown together overnight just to look like “content.” The so-called “training videos” are blurry, rushed, and give zero real instruction. I could’ve learned more from random YouTube tutorials. Even the assessments are poorly designed; instructions contradict themselves, examples don’t make sense, and some links are completely broken. I was left confused, frustrated, and feeling like I’d been tricked into paying for a pile of recycled PDFs.
The support team? Nonexistent. When you’re lured in, they act friendly and responsive. But the second you pay, you may as well be invisible. I waited weeks for answers to basic questions. Sometimes I didn’t get a response at all, and when I did, it was a generic, copy-and-paste message that had nothing to do with what I asked. Imagine struggling to understand a module, reaching out for help, and the “tutor” replying with a single sentence like “Please review your notes.” That’s the kind of insulting “support” you’ll get.
And let’s talk about those “tutors.” They are unhelpful, rushed, and give you the bare minimum. There’s no real teaching or guidance — it feels like they’re there just to mark boxes and push you along. Any feedback I did receive was dismissive and made me feel small, like I was stupid for asking questions. This isn’t education, it’s gaslighting.
The false promises don’t end there. They sell you on “flexibility” and “job-ready skills.” What a joke. The course gave me ZERO preparation for actual beauty work. No real-world training, no practical guidance, no connections to the industry. When I tried applying for jobs, employers laughed when I mentioned where I studied. Imagine working hard, paying thousands, and then being told by actual salons that this school has a bad reputation. That crushed me.
Every time I logged into the student portal, I felt more disheartened. Broken links, half-baked content, and a constant feeling that I was utterly alone. I started losing sleep, doubting myself, and questioning whether I even belonged in the industry — all because I put my trust in a school that clearly doesn’t care about its students. They only care about enrollment numbers and draining as much money as possible.
The worst part? The emotional toll. They dangle dreams in front of people who just want a better future, then pull the rug out from under them. I cried multiple times thinking about the money I lost and the time I’ll never get back. I feel betrayed, humiliated, and angry at myself for believing the fake marketing.
If you’re even considering this school, PLEASE don’t do it. Save your money, save your sanity, and look for a real institution that respects students. This place is nothing but a money-hungry scam that leaves broken dreams in its wake. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy

We also continually update and refine our course content to make sure it remains fresh, relevant, and engaging. Our team reviews materials every month and makes regular improvements based on student feedback. This ensures that our courses grow and evolve alongside the needs of our learners.

Not even worth one star, promised all the support and only provided it to my child when I intervened twice (my daughter does have a learning disability which I informed them of at the start) then when she decided she couldn’t do it due to the lack of support they were happy to cancel her enrolment but not my payment plan!!! I was very nice offering to allow them to keep the amount that had this far been paid but they were not willing to notify the company of cancellation!!! A lot of money. Taking this to the lawyers now as they entered an agreement with a minor ill take all my money back and then some for the stress this has all caused,

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a frustrating experience, and we take your concerns seriously. However, we feel it’s important to clarify a few key points.
Firstly, our call records do not show that we were informed of your daughter’s learning disability at the time of enrolment.
Despite this, once concerns were raised about your daughter’s struggles within the course, we provided additional support options — including extended access, email assistance, tutor follow-ups, and video support calls. A total of 13 contacts were made.
We are a self-paced, adult-learning provider, and students are encouraged to reach out when they need help. Tutor support is always available to all of our students; however, as discussed in all enrolment calls, it is provided in response to student requests. We have a highly trained and supportive team available six days per week, Monday to Saturday.
Regarding the payment plan — this was entered into by yourself, as the nominated support person, and an independent third-party finance provider. This was clearly outlined and agreed to during the enrollment call with both yourself and your daughter. To clarify, there was no financial agreement made between a minor and Australian Beauty School or the payment provider. As the authorised adult, you agreed to the payment terms, and any financial matters — including payment terms or hardship requests — must be handled directly with the payment provider.
During that call, our course consultant clearly explained the course outline and modules, the duration of the course, the support period, the fortnightly price, and the payment plan details — all of which were agreed to during the call. As the authorised adult, you confirmed your understanding and accepted these terms.
We always aim to act fairly and transparently, and we’re disappointed to hear you feel this has not been your experience. Should you wish to provide specific documentation or timelines, we’d be happy to review everything again internally.
