48hrs I was delivered my curtesy car. Had for 12 days.? Then was advised that I was entitled to car until the insurance company paid out. So very useful info extended usage to buy a new car. They collected curtesy car as they found in all tidy and clean. Fuel was iver that needed to return. No issues. Very polite on delivery and collection. Telephone calls all explanations of how it all worked for cover. Very happy would definatley use again... not that I hope I ever need to yet you get what I mean. 😍

Prompt service

My car was written off and I received a courtesy car within 2 hours of reporting the accident. It was of a similar model to mine. It was clean with an almost full tank so I could get going again immediately.

Bunch of cowboys

They will encourage you to get a car hire - don't do this. It works out a lot more expensive than hiring a car yourself so two years on we are still arguing with the legal team for the driver at fault. They are saying that I should have paid for hire car myself and now I'm going to be stuck with a £3k bill that I can't afford. I should never have gone down this route and am really frustrated that a car was pushed on me, my car repairs were delayed and it was all a ploy to get a big bill which they knew I'd have to pay eventually.

Overall the whole service has been inefficient, I have had to fill our reports and send photos numerous times and two years later this is only just being reviewed.

Quick to respond, excellent customer service

Auxillis were in touch within a couple of hours of the accident. Efficient and friendly service. Hire car was delivered next day with minimum fuss.

I was offered a choice of manual or automatic & I chose the automatic which was delivered & collected from my house. It was a Vauxhall Corsa automatic in immaculate condition.

Auxillis Courtesy Car

Had a courtesy car from Auxillis for a week whilst mine was being repaired. It was an easy process from collection to drop off. I was given a Mercedes CLE 300 brand new, which was very nice!

I would recommend using them for any rental cars needed.

NO STARS if I could leave it.

Positives:
1. Very quick to deliver a vehicle for a non fault accident.
2. The company is very slick...hence many 5 star reviews

Negatives:
1. They're a hire company not a courtesy vehicle company. You could be left picking up the bill for the extortionate costs they charge the 3rd party's insurance company.
2. I was made to pay £462 for a new tyre, call out charge, balancing, admin fee, valve etc for a flat tyre on the hire vehicle, yet they charged the 3rd party over £12,400 for 27 days hire !!
3. They have so many T&Cs that they cover themself for everything, yet they charge high extortionate costs from Insurance companies.
4. For a non fault accident no-one should not be out of pocket for anything related to their vehicle or hire vehicle.

I would definitely not use AUXILLIS again.

The whole industry is 'milking' the Insurance companies, and this is why our insurance premiums are so high.
I had to deal with my Insurance company, their 'management company', hire car company, garage for repair, 3rd party insurer calls, and recommended solicitor !! All of them taking 'their cut', yet the regulatory body allows it ! Shocking and shameful.

Good sides and bad sides

Easy to deal with but on the downside is that my claim against another driver hasn’t been settled as of yet. The accident happened 4 months ago so not so good and could definitely improve.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all cost! After 6 weeks of having my car, it got sent back in unroadworthy condition. It then took several more weeks to resolve. During which time I struggled to contact them at all, resorting to having post on their LinkedIn page to get a response.
Since, my car has developed another fault due to poor workmanship, which I am now out of pocket after having to get repaired independently and Auxillis is denying this and refusing to reimburse me. Terrible company to deal with and very poor service.

I am disappointed with my experience dealing with Auxillis during my recent claim.

Throughout the process, I received different and sometimes unclear responses when I asked about the payment date for my vehicle. Each time I contacted the team, I seemed to receive a different answer, and no one was able to provide a clear or consistent timeline. This lack of transparency made the process unnecessarily stressful and difficult to manage.

In addition, the information provided about the status of the payment was very limited. I had to repeatedly chase updates, and it often felt like I was not being given the full picture about what stage the payment was at or when it would actually be processed.

There were also issues with the management of the hire vehicle. The arrangements did not appear to be handled smoothly, which created additional inconvenience during an already difficult situation following the accident.

Overall, the communication and coordination could have been much clearer and more organised. I would strongly encourage Auxillis to improve the consistency of their responses, provide clearer information about payment timelines, and manage hire vehicle arrangements more effectively.

My reply to Auxillis:
Thank you for your response. I am happy to provide further details regarding my experience.

Firstly, regarding the payment process:
We agreed to your proposed settlement amount on 6th February 2026. However, there were no updates provided to us regarding when payment would be made until 2nd March 2026. From 2nd March onwards, I had to repeatedly chase for updates. Each time I called, I received inconsistent and unclear answers from different representatives. I was not told whether the funds had been received, nor was I given any indication of when payment would be made. There was no clear timeframe communicated at any point.

It was not until I called again on 17th March that I was informed, for the first time, that payment would be made within 14 days starting from 3rd March. I do not understand why this information was not communicated earlier, as it would have significantly reduced uncertainty. The lack of clear and consistent communication throughout this process caused considerable stress and frustration.

Secondly, regarding the hire vehicle:
While you were aware that we had no alternative transport, there were repeated attempts to end the hire vehicle provision. I also received multiple emails asking me to reconfirm whether I still required the vehicle, which was not helpful given our situation.

After receiving the payment, I contacted you immediately to arrange an early return of the hire vehicle, in order to minimise your costs. However, during this call, once your team became aware that we had purchased a new car, I was informed that the hire would be terminated at midnight the same day.

At that point, it was already around 3pm. This left me with no reasonable time to prepare the vehicle for return. I was unable to have the car cleaned before the end of the day, and I could not legally use the vehicle after midnight. As a result, I had to take time off work the following day to purchase cleaning supplies, clean the vehicle myself, and wait at home for collection.

Throughout this process, I made efforts to cooperate and act in a way that would minimise costs for Auxillis. However, I feel that my situation was not taken into consideration at all. The decision to terminate the hire vehicle so abruptly caused significant inconvenience and disruption.

Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the level of communication and the handling of both the payment process and the hire vehicle arrangements.

Great company to deal with, kept me in regular contact on when my hire car was going to be delivered and collected. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful.
