Avantigo was the best value travel insurance for my circumstances that I cold find

The price I was quoted as a man aged 86 with various medical conditions was significantly less than renewing with my previous insurer.

Easy to use website, competitive price for a couple in late 70’s

Quotes were provided and easily accessible and purchase quickly completed

Good policy for worldwide annual cover for a very decent price. Cover for 50days per trip which is not offered by any other established insurance companies that I could find, certainly not below £500. I stopped looking after reaching that threshold. Great find.

Very competitive pricing for an annual policy with up to 50 days per trip. Much cheaper in fact. Some insurers were giving quotes up to £100 more expensive for similar cover!

We purchased Annual cover that included Cruise cover, Sadly my wife was taken ill onboard ship and we required Medical treatment, we received a detailed report from the medical team which also confirmed that they did not advise the next cruise which is known as a BACK TO BACK. We provided all the required paperwork BUT they are now asking for further confirmation that the Doctor provides a signed document to confirm her advise. Plus we have had NO reply regarding the costs we had for the medical treatment. Our costs were over £4000.00, SO BEWARE. we have taken Legal action.

Easy transaction. Reasonable price from a (hopefully!) reputable company. Will know more in a year's time!

Exactly what holidaymakers need

Option offered on a price comparison site. Easy to register and insurance was competitive. Chose this as it seemed best aligned to our needs. Thankfully did not need to claim so cannot comment further.
