Fraudulent company. When i returned car they charged me extra 40 euros for car "cleaning", which i was un aware of.
Funny that i had to sign return paper on Turkish language as nobody of 5 workers did not know any English.

I hired a car from this company for 37 days at Cukurova Airport, Turkey. There were no problems at the counter or at car pick up and return. Car was clean and almost new. My deposit was returned 7 days after, with toll charges deducted. All was well. I would recommend this company for car hire.

Do not use. Their car broke down. They charged me the excess !!

Esperienza tremenda, agenzia di noleggio fake. Non hanno un’assistenza o meglio rispondono al telefono, ma non arrivano in soccorso. Ho avuto un sinistro per strada. Ho chiamato l’assistenza e ho dovuto cercare un hotel nelle vicinanze perché dopo ben 26 ore non sono ancora arrivati a recuperare l’auto. Rischio di perdere l’aereo chiederò i danni e vi consiglio di non scegliere questa agenzia mai.

I rented a car from Istanbul Airport through AVEC and returned it at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The car I received was excellent. At Istanbul Airport, the handover staff was not friendly but completed the process quickly and efficiently. When returning the car at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, I had trouble finding the return location. However, a company employee named Faruk assisted me, and I am very grateful to him. He was friendly, understanding, and spoke English fluently.
I received my deposit refund a week after returning the car, with deductions for toll and road fees in Istanbul as agreed in the contract.
I highly recommend AVEC and give them a full rating.

I do not recommend this car rental company. After returning the car, money will be regularly withdrawn from your credit card, the company ignores requests, does not respond to messages. You will regret that you left them your credit card. Read the reviews below - everyone has the same problem - they write off money from your card without reason!!!

Reserved a full size SUV with Avec using Expedia. Received a beautiful, and almost new, Peugeot 3008.
Was not sure about the company, given the negative reviews on Trustpilot, however, what encouraged me was the positive reviews on Expedia.
I was worried they will hold on to my deposit; However, deposit was returned in full after 2 weeks of my return.
The best part is how Avec employee helped me transfer from Terminal 1 (Car drop off) to Terminal 2 (my flight) at Antalya Airport for free using my nice car.
Good job Avec. will definitely use them again when I visit Antalya next.

I had a really frustrating experience with this rental company. After a long 15-hour flight to Istanbul, I was looking forward to picking up my car. However, when I arrived, they claimed my Australian driving license didn’t have a starting date, which it doesn’t—it's just how they are issued. I tried to explain that I’ve rented cars in Istanbul before without any issues, but the staff was rude and aggressive, almost as if they were trying to pick a fight with me.

To make matters worse, I ended up losing $400 when I contacted Booking.com to get my money back. I felt completely scammed and disheartened. If you’re considering renting from them, I’d advise you to think twice. It’s just not worth the hassle.

I rent a car in Kayseri for two days and it was without problem. They meet me at the airport exeed and greed to office.

No deposit back. we payed deposit 150€ and after the car rental ended there was no issue and we where told the deposit will come back on our account form where we payed.

we are now 5 weeks further and i called Avec 3 times already where my money is but they say the money is on the way and there is no issue.

Today when i called again they tell me that i have to get my money back at discover cars. this cannot be like this!! very poor service!! scammers!!

Give me my money back!

Unfortunately, my short holiday, which I started with great excitement, was a disaster because of this company. They introduced me to many problems such as unauthorised amounts withdrawn from my credit card and never being able to reach customer service.

My advice is to definitely stay away from this company. As cheap as the car hire prices are, their services are cheap!

Prima del giorno concordato per il ritiro mi hanno scritto su whats app e mi hanno dato le dritte per la consegna. Una volta usciti dall'aeroporto gli ho scritto, e in un paio di minuti sono arrivati a prelevarci. In 5 minuti siamo arrivati al noleggio, dove abbiamo espletato le pratiche e ci hanno consegnato l'auto (con profumo nuovo di zecca e due bottigliette di acqua in omaggio). Auto praticamente nuova, non abbiamo avuto nessun problema durante i circa 2000 km che abbiamo fatto. Abbiamo riconsegnato in aeroporto diverso, senza nessun problema. Abbiamo avuto solo un piccolo disguido dopo la riconsegna, quando mi sono accorta che mi avevano addebitato una piccola somma sulla carta di credito, ma sentendoli abbiamo risolto immediatamente e in qualche giorno i soldi sono stati restituiti. Sono ragazzi giovani, gentili e non posso che raccomandare questo Rental Car.

This is the worst ever rental company and stay away. They do not record starting milage and return milage so they charge you for the gas you did not used at all.

Booked a car through last-minute.com for a week. On arrival they told me they didn't have the car I booked (Honda city saloon) and had a hyundai i20 hatchback much smaller, as I just wanted to get out of the airport with my family and enjoy our holiday I agreed. They charged an extra £125 to cover the toll charges and promised to pay the deposit back minus the toll charges on return. I returned the car in exactly the same condition, the check In guy said everything was good and refund will arrive in 7 days. On my return home they further charged £147 and £6 for minor damages. I didn't cause any damage and am still waiting on my deposit. I have now opened a dispute claim with my bank. Don't use this dis honest thieving lying company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I booked a car from avec through a third company in which I was required to pay the rental fee on collection of the car aswell as the refundable security deposit. When collecting the car I was told that the payment for both rental and security deposit would be taken as a single payment as apposed to a pre authorisation hold, and the deposit would be refunded when returning the car. The problem with this is that because of the exchange rates, you will end up paying more for the security deposit when they take the payment and refund it. I don't understand why they don't just put a pre authorisation hold on credit cards like all other rental companies. When returning the car I was told everything was fine and that I would recieve the refund for my deposit within 7-10 days. However, on my return to the UK I checked my bank statement to see that I was overcharged in this single payment which included the rental fee and security deposit, and another payment was also taken from my card on the day that I returned the car. This second payment has left me worried because it was taken without my consent or me being present to enter my pin number like the first payment was. I would understand if this payment was taken if there was a pre authorisation hold in place, but again there was not ans therefore they have a copy of my credit card details which clearly they can charge me on as they like. When contacting the rental company via email they told me that the other charge was for an upgrade which I supposedly agreed to which was not true. I told them that i did not agree to any upgrade, nor was I given any paperwork, receipts or asked to sign anything. I was then told that they would listen to recorded audio and watch cctv to confirm if I had agreed to the upgrade or not. I told them to go ahead and to also send me a copy of the audio/cctv and within a few hours they said that they would refund me the overcharged payment. It has now been 2 weeks since rental ended, I have recieved less than I was expecting for my security deposit, no refund on the overcharged as promised, and no explanation as to why or how they managed to take a second payment. In facy, avec rentals have now stopped replying to my emails since I have asked for proof of refund and questioned them for the second payment. I have now contacted my credit card company and asked them to open a dispute into this company and to retrieve my funds. This company is not honest or trustworthy, and I would advise from my personal experience to avoid them at all costs if you don't want to lose money. There are many other car rentals companies located in dalaman airport to chose from.

Awful bunch of scammers and fraudsters. Paid for car hire and full insurance through Expedia only to be told on collection of car I had to pay a further £162 for full insurance. On returning the car they continued to charge my card on three separate occasions. When trying to get and explanation I was met with rude, agressive and unhelpful attitude. They have still not released my deposit. Fraudsters and scammers, use at your own risk. See reviews I am not the only one. They are being reported to Expedia and have logged dispute with my card company to recover stolen monies.

Everything went ok we returned the car and they said thats everything was ok. After that they took money without any explanation and they literally stopped answering the phone after this. We try to send an Email but they never responded.
