I recently completed my coaching training with Barefoot Coaching and it’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my professional journey.
It’s not just about learning coaching skills – it’s a journey of personal growth. I felt supported, gently challenged, and encouraged to develop my own authentic style.
I’ve come away with greater confidence, deeper self-awareness, and a real trust in myself as a coach.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend Barefoot to anyone looking to grow both professionally and personally.

All of the coaching supervisors and mentor coaches at Barefoot exemplify quality care and ethics. They manage the sessions brilliantly and are real ambassadors for the organisation. I would recommend Barefoot Coaching to anyone.

For me the best part was the cohort and the tutors of the course. They demonstrated holding the space throughout the course.

The backend team, especially Emma, was very helpful when i had any queries/concerns.

It's hard to sum up just how good the flagship Level 2 Business and Personal Coaching course is in just a sentence or two. The whole experience, in and between each session on the course was remarkable. The variety and availability of varied theories, resources and expertise from the tutors was fantastic. The opportunity for self development alone makes it worth doing, let alone the deeply sound foundation it gives you to start coaching. I'm so glad I took up the recommendation from someone who had already been through the programme, I'll never forget it and feel extremely grateful that I have the tools and grounding that Barefoot provide to build my career with.

My experience with Barefoot Coaching was fantastic. I highly recommend them as a coach training provider. I feel supported, seen and heard. What I particularly liked was their understanding of individuals. I felt that I was given so many tools - but not overloaded as I know that I can choose what aligns and feels right to me or my clients. The group experience is fantastic and the support just continues since finishing the taught part of the programme. I looked at lots of different training providers but I'm really glad I chose Barefoot and would recommend to anyone considering coaching training.

The Barefoot flagship coaching programme exceeded my expectations. I not only learnt lifelong skills in coaching conversations, the group proved to be an unexpected asset.

Exceptional tutors, extremely comprehensive content and materials - all delivered in service to the ICF gold standard of coaching. Those 5 months with Barefoot have become some of the most rewarding I've known in my working life - and I've made some wonderful and supportive new friends from our cohort.

Well curated content. Tutors that know their stuff, and hold space for growth and learning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a well rounded, professional, expansive coach training, not a one-size-fits-all approach. They help coaches develop their own unique coaching style, and support diverse needs of the groups.

Absolutely loved the level 2 coaching course from barefoot! It was well structured over the 12 weeks, the tutors are all brilliant and so different from each other and the cohort group learning works so well. The content is amazing and includes lots of psychological elements (without going into therapy territory) and builds nicely over the weeks. There is also good time to practise on each other during the sessions.
The only reason I give this 4 stars and not 5 is that the course itself is not very neuroinclusive (inclusive for those with neurodiversity like adhd or autism) - both for participants and in terms of content. For example, the style of teaching (4 intense hours on zoom with quite strict camera-on policy) is not suitable for some neurodivergent participants. Also there is no mention of neurodiversity in the materials when talking about behaviours and ways of thinking and tutors did not mention it unless prompted by questions. I’m aware it is a complex area and whole courses are run on ND coaching but leaving it out completely when up to a quarter of participants and their future clients will be ND this feels like a real gap to be addressed.
That said, I’d highly recommend the course! It’s not the cheapest out there but the quality is great and does have the option to follow on with a masters degree which few other courses do.

I couldn't recommend Barefoot Coaching more highly. Having looked at various coach training providers, I felt Barefoot had more than the edge. Highly qualified tutors, a interesting and varied flagship programme that gave insights into various aspects/types of coaching, and they were engaging and professional in equal measure right from the beginning. The programme didn't disappoint and I am delighted to be a Barefoot coach.

Great tutors and a very supportive organisation.

I knew as soon as I found Barefoot that it was the organisation for me to train with. They share my values and ethos. They did not disappoint! The course has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. The tutors, the integrity woven through like a golden thread, the approach, methods and thoroughness, amount of practice time, the cohort - all perfect. I feel well equipped to go out into the world to coach with a great range of tools and techniques under my belt and a desire to keep developing more. I have just signed up to the post-grad certificate to further develop and fine tune my skills. I cannot recommend Barefoot enough.
