Very professional company from the start. Didn't feel pressured into going with them, unlike some of the firms we had quotes from.
On the day of the move there was a bit of hanging around for the keys. The guys on the vans were very understanding and patient. When loading and unloading they took care and pride in our possessions. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not a regular reviewer but these guys impressed me. The initial video call with Kieran, doing a walk through the house to see the scale of the task was easy. The quote was reasonable. The van and 4 removal guys arrived on time and everyone got on with the job efficiently being respectful of our property and our neighbours. Delivery was at the time agreed and Iain and Ziggy were enthusiastic and happy to help. Exceeded expectations. Definitely would recommend.

Had a great experience with Britannia Bearsby when we moved in June 2026. From initial advice on the phone, the quotation visit and on our moving day we were looked after very well. The 3 man removal team arrived early and worked incredibly hard all day in blistering heat. It was a very long day but despite this all were professional and respectful of us and our furniture and belongings and we could not fault the service we received. We had a very smooth transition for our move and cannot thank Britannia Bearsbys enough for an excellent service. So we highly recommend this company.

A great team of removal guys! They had a real can do attitude particularly when we struggled to get some furniture out. They went above and beyond to help solve the situation. Move went smoothly and all the guys were polite and worked really hard. I would definitely recommend them.

Britannia Bearsbys were superb from start to finish. We had a such a pleasant & positive experience and cannot thank them enough for this. Moving is stressful enough but they made the moving in part so smooth and pretty much seamless. It was a blisteringly hot day and the removal team were fabulous. All 3 of them worked like trojans despite the heat getting us moved out and moved in to our new house. Nothing too much trouble for them and they were punctual, so polite, professional and got the job done and well. Highly recommend this company. Very well priced too. An added advantage - the office staff are lovely too. The whole company are efficient and on it. Not come across service like this in a long time. We can’t thank you enough.

The team from Bearsbys was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much for them to do at all. They were efficient, friendly and keen to please in whatever way suited us. We would definitely recommend them to others.

I was not going to add further comment but as your reply to my neighbours post is so inaccurate I had to.
I was the mum who was trying to get my daughter to her GCSE exam.
The road is private. It has a sign. It says residence only, private. We pay for the up keep of the road and all our drains - even one that has been newly repaired by us and paid for by us that your lorry kept parking on for hours and I hope has not been weakened.
The house you were moving is detached on the main road and it not our neighbour in anyway.
Your client had no authority. Your client had no permission. You were trespassing. You are unethical (unethical meaning - behaviour that violates moral principles, professional standards) because you did not seek to ensure you had proper agreements in place with residents of the road even though we have directors that could have helped with this.
I suggest to you that you rely on school boy bullish behaviour to get what you want. Even when phones calls were made to your office there were hostile responses.
The lorry driver confirmed I could not pass - he said she doesn’t want me to move - the lady who is your client - I wasn’t even getting into the argument of whether you should be parked there - at that moment I was concerned for my daughter who at this point was now crying, pleading to be let out of her driveway, where she lives, so I could get her to school.
My daughter has had an apology from the family that caused this upset, I have not heard from your business though. My post speaks facts. I am sure that this post will receive a reply from someone in your office where you will not take any responsibility. In future, please move when you are first asked not to the point where a teenager has to get out the car and beg for you to move so she can get to her exam, crying.

Terrible firm. Blocked our private drive all day for 7 different households. Refused to move causing a child to be late for her GCSEs. Refused to acknowledge their trespass which saved the firm money on the removal they were carrying out. Avoid any transaction with this unethical company.

We moved from Kent to France on the 28th of May and our furniture arrived the following Wednesday at our new home in France. The whole move was handled professionally and the team of movers were so helpful. Thank you to Mia who did a great job of wrapping our fragile items and to Ollie and Noel that did the move in Kent and came to France to deliver. The whole team did a fantastic job.

My friend needed to move and was thinking of employing some local companies who were a little shaky to say the least. I’d heard the horror stories of people not turning up and all sorts of issues that as a single parent she certainly didn’t want that on the day!
I persuaded her to go with a more ‘professional’ company, so I got in touch with Britannia and one other.
Britannia were in my opinion the first choice by far. They were only slightly more expensive than the small independents, but it proved to be the right choice, no question!!
From Kieran who came and costed to the three crew who were there on the day, everyone was first class. The youngest child was a bit sad on the day at moving and the crew engaged her all of the time which cheered her up no end. Thank you for that.
I deal with a lot of businesses in my own work and it was such a nice change to use a first class one whose customer service was more than excellent. A wise choice and worth every penny!

When moving belongings and items of value there is always a degree of anxiety but not with this company.
