We received our fireplace from be modern everything went well but noticed a small chip on the mantlepiece so we had to return that piece but to there credit we received a replacement two weeks later good service. well done be modern. Thank you.

Had one of their wall mounted fires for a while. Overnight the glass front exploded for no reason spraying my lounge with glass. Fragments even marked my TV screen due to it flying so far. Fire had not been used for a while so was switched off on fire and at socket. Just wonder if this had happened during the day, probably been cut by flying glass and as my grandson is here all day on weekdays it doesn't bear thinking about. Bemodern say that the glass is designed to break in this manner and must have been damaged. Fire was only used for decorative feature of light never used as a fire. Glass not damaged in any way by myself. What I want to know is why Bemodern take no responsibility and why would glass exploded overnight with small and large pieces of glass flying everywhere up to 6 feet from fire.
