I wouldn't recommend dealing with Jivar Foty (owner).
We used to be BenchmarkBroker's subcontractor company. Despite the fact that he and his team acknowledged that the design and development work was done professionally, he refused to pay the final bill, which is big enough.

Ignoring calls and messages - this is what he as a businessman finds reasonable to do. We had quite lasting business relationship but then he thought it would be a good idea to get us work for free. Very frustrated and disappointed.

I am sure the customers are treated in the same way.

Given a good initial rate for homeowners insurance but rates increase every year at ridiculous amounts with zero claims and zero explanations.

I have many policies but the documents do not have the property addresses on them. It creates a lot of confusion.

They made me switch policies on my 21 houses by telling the existing policy was no later available two weeks before it expired knowing I didn’t have time to shop or compare

I had used Benchmark in the past on an investment property we bought and they really took are of us in the short time we had to provide insurance. Recently I had contacted them again on another property that we trying to buy and they were quick to get us an insurance quote and the rider before closing. I will definitely be using them again!

I would like e-mail reply from Service Support that they have sent proof of insurance to mortgage companies, etc. Just an acknowledgement that the request is done.

I never get a call.back when i leave messages. Homeowners ins went up again and i called for a review of my acct, in hopes of finding a more economical fee...still waiting.

I liked the quick response and painless process to acquire the policy.
