I would rate it a zero if I could. I'm a victim of very poor customer service, misrepresentation of their product. The item I received did not look anything like the pictures, the quality was poor. Delays in shipping, almost two months and the item sent wasn't what I ordered. They told me I would have to pay to ship it back to China before they would refund my money. BEWARE, not a company you'd want to do business with.

Buyer beware! Do NOT order from this so-called “family-run” company! An add popped up on my NY Times site. I went to the very well-done and convincing company website. I read the “About Us,” which made the company just that much more appealing based on its origin story. The site is clearly developed by someone who knows proper grammar and has a good visual sense. I ordered something that was on sale ( not crazy on- sale).It was supposed to be 100% cashmere. When the item took longer to arrive than anticipated, I checked repeatedly, and saw that it was stuck on the tracking progress bar. Out of concern, I wrote the company (which on the site, assures immediate response to any queries). I didn’t hear back. After waiting more than a week, I wrote again. Once again, no response. I then wrote one more time and finally did get a response apologizing, saying the item was on its way. And then I received another missive shortly thereafter, assuring me that the item was in fact delivered. At this point I was out of town, but checked with a neighbor, and yes, it had finally arrived. Item color and size were accurate. BUT, cashmere? No! 100% polyester. Packing had Chinese lettering on it. I wrote the company asking for a return label and a refund. So far, so nothing. Reported to my cc company, and also contacted the ad dept. of the N.Y. Times. Fingers crossed. So you - please don’t be fooled.

This place is a FRAUD. I wish I had read these reviews before I dealt with these people. I ordered a "cashmere" shirt for US$59.00. It took a month to arrive today. It was some cheap fabric and several sizes too small. They also do not answer emails. Luckily Capital One credited my account the $59.00 immediately, so they must of had other fraud cases. Anybody want a Chinese polyester knock off shirt?

I purchased a "cashmere" overshirt for my partner and I received a thin, uncomfortable 100% polyester shirt. My own fault, I suppose, for believing advertising, but if you are reviewing this, don't buy anything from them.

I ordered the stone sculpture for christmas and what i got was a cheap plastic cat head ;this is shameful and embarrasing for a company to decieve customers this way; my advice to others is do not order anything from this place its a scam, they take your money and send you cheap stuff in return and probably laugh because there is nothing you can do about it. and all should post more reviews to get them out of buisness.

Blessedly I never received the alleged M-65 Field Jacket I ordered from Bennet & Mason and was able to recover my full credit card charge. I now know better than to try a new vendor without checking Trust Pilot first.

Turns out Bennet & Mason are simply an AI storefront for Scenery Trade Co., LLC. a complete scam outfit operating in China. There are no phone numbers, there is no direct contact to customer service. I received an initial order acknowledgement then nothing. After a couple weeks I sent an inquiry via the website portal re: the status of my order. Got an AI generated response days later telling me how to track. Tracking showed package meandering across the world. After 30 days tracking showed nothing. Sent another inquiry. Days later different AI response saying search would take time. Contacted bank to dispute charge. That got a much quicker AI response pleading with me to accept another package and to provide all my information as that was only fair thing for all they’d done for me.

Check the reviews on the website. All perfect. Pictures, spelling, grammar…100%. So I looked around for similar pop up ads and sure enough the same picture of the gentlemen standing in front of their store…Mr Bennet & Mr Mason?…are used on multiple other “vendors”.

Thanks to all the good folks that write their honest outcomes here. I know my M-65 Field Jacket would have been a green shirt.

I guess I'm not alone buying this plastic Cat Head, unbelievable they would deceive customers like that, you can't even write a review on their site!
You see these items pop up on your phone and don't realize they're being shipped from CHINA and are poor quality, wake up America start reading the labels where it's made not just Walmart/Lowes/target but in almost every store you shop at, they have a name like Bennet and Mason but it's cover for selling their Chinese made Junk!

Total junk. Walmart sells the same junk for 10 bucks. Wish I knew that before I purchased 2 0f them for $39.99 each.

Cat Head? A piece of round, hand painted wood that is garbage. They refuse to answer any questions, reference my phone number to shipping address and they came back at me with the same email concerning the original inquiry. The US companies and it's greed by selling out to China should be more regulated. Create jobs and regulate here at home. This whole country is owned by China and nobody does anything about it.

Purchased the "Black Cat Stone Sculpture" in September 2025 (2 months ago) and still haven't received it. That's disappointing enough, now seeing negative reviews from people who HAVE received it makes me sick to my stomach.

I too was scammed by Bennet & Mason. Bought their "Black Cat Stone Sculpture" but it's not stone at all - some sort of plastic. It weighs all of 5 ounces.
I asked to return it to them but they refused it. They said I need to send them a picture of the shipping label, but I threw that out when I unpacked it. Never heard of a company requiring a picture of the shipping label - seems clearly a scam to avoid taking it back. Scam upon scam here!!

One star is unbelievably generous. Really poor quality clothes and shoes. Sizes completely nonsense (far too small). Delivery took for ever, as even though the website suggests an old English tailor, they actually come from China. And they will not take the goods back and have not sorted any repayment despite having assured me that they would.

Absolute scam! The polished stone cat statue is blue plastic tacky garbage. Don't waste your money- this is a Chinese scam, selling cheap trash, with no way to return or get a refund.

I ordered a version of the military M65 Field Jacket. There was a chart showing the 12 features to be found on the jacket. So far I have only found 7. The jacket looks well made but is not what I ordered or wanted. After several conversations with customer service I ended up getting a 20% refund. They kept saying the shipping to return it back to China would be huge and since I wanted to cut my losses I accepted the refund, but not the experience I endured. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Purchased the "Black Cat Stone Sculpture". MUCH smaller than indicated in picture, is NOT black but is blue-ish. It is NOT stone but made of a plastic resin. Lesson learned - will NEVER order from this scam company again. Should have done more research on reviews before giving them any money. Zero stars - not one.

I ordered an "M65 field jacket". Having served in the military I knew exactly what this item is supposed to be. The picture in the ad is accurate. But what I received was nothing but an olive green shirt. This company and it's business practices are a 100% scam and should be illegal.

Biggest scam ever!

Ordered 4 pair of shoes from an apparently hand crafted cobbler. Took 8 weeks eventually for 2 pairs to arrive. Shoes aren’t what I ordered, rubbish quality, wrong size, arrive in bubble wrap and are clearly plastic. Disgrace

If I could have chosen 0 stars, that would have been more appropriate. I ordered and received 2 cat figurines that were advertised as being made of polished stone and waited almost a month for delivery from China. What I received was cheap plastic resin figurines worth less than a third of what I paid. Attempts to obtain "guaranteed customer satisfaction" were, as you can guess, futile and probably addressed by their lackeys in China.

As of today, 10/11/2025, I have not received, nor been informed of any delay with my order. It's been 10 days & "Bennet & Mason" has NOT shipped my order as indicated on their website & account. Purchase date indicates 10/02/2025. Navigating through their website is suspicious due to the lack of responses upon clicking the prompts. I've unfortunately encountered vendors like this one who are NOT what they perpetrate, but are actually traced"overseas" that make it a point to sell cheap products never revealing what their products really are...cheap & low budget. They regularly take customers for their money with misleading ads & pictures. The only things that are high quality are their web designs.

BOLO & BEWARE of their red flag!

Again, the Black Cat Head Stone statue, direct from China unable to return it since there's no invoice. Was ordered from Bennet and Mason also no record of my order on there site. And lastly it smells like it was just painted. Awfull! I wish I had done more research on this company a complete bait and switch.
