I've just achieved in 10 minutes with Betta Bud, what I spent over 2 days trying to do yesterday with a different importer. Very impressed with the service so far. Thankyou Betta Bud

Bettabud sent out 18 fish to me poorly packaged,no heatpacks,no markings on box and it took 5 days transit in Australia.. result 6 dead fish. Refunds are processed really slow and painfully and we were left out of pocket.
Their communication is bad at best. They have no accountability and generally bad experience from start to finish.
Update. We felt we had to escalte to get a result. We have been left $90 Out of pocket with their 100% Doa coverage.
Also paid 6 x $38 on postage(you get charged every transaction). As for you only pay your fair share apparently that's just up to their discretion. We got none.
And with the price increase to $50 per fish its just not service that i would use again.

Working out of a small place doesn't make you a backyarder, not being professional does.
Remember that time when you contacted me about the postage on your website being incorrect , I paid you the difference immediately...

Stunning choice of fish lovely and healthy this is the 2nd time ordering from this company the last fish I ordered are absolutely stunning I just love them. Betta bud always answer any of my questions immediately and have been great to deal with

When my fish went missing, I was told that the issue would be resolved. However, after waiting for more than a week with no updates, I had to contact them myself to ask what was happening. That’s when I was told that the fish could not be returned to me.

Instead, I was offered a refund of only $30. The fish was NOT a DOA (Dead on Arrival) fish, and I purchased it for 2 million VND (approximately $105 AUD), not including the shipping costs from Vietnam → Thailand → Indonesia → Australia.

The fish was not lost because of anything I did. This was a mistake on their side, yet they refused to either return the fish or compensate me for its actual value. Offering only $30 for a fish worth over $100 is completely unacceptable.

I would also like to point out that the overall service was extremely poor. There was no heat pack included, and 7 out of the 13 bags arrived leaking water.

I have imported fish into Australia many times from overseas, and I have never experienced such poor service and packaging standards.

In my opinion, Jodi is currently the best transhipper in Australia. Linda was also excellent, but she has since retired.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company think very carefully before using their services. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them and would advise others to avoid them altogether.

Betta bud, gave me the security you all need, for some of us it maybe a-bit terrifying purchasing a fish overseas, but they’ve made sure everything goes well, I’ve had over 2-3 shipments so far and I’ve never had a bad experience.

BettaBud has been very professional with my fishes and he's answered every single question succinctly and quickly. All my fishes were delivered in time and were perfectly healthy. Good prices too.
