Perfect venue for a family weekend…
We had a tremendous family weekend break at The Malvern Lakehouse with tremendous professional help in finding a suitable property with the Big House Experience team. Our ages range from 7 months to 71. Plenty of rooms to accommodate us all easily & great tips about the house & area to make a magical weekend. I gave a brief summary of our requirements from a wheelchair user to travelling from all over the UK & this provided everything we needed. Will definitely recommend the Big House Experience company

We had a terrific stay at Tregulland to celebrate our 60th Birthdays. Our friends and family were blown away by the property. The fact it has eleven bedrooms all ensuite is fantastic. The kitchens are very well provided for and catering for our big group was easy.

Amazing mansion
We had an amazing weekend at Fallbarrow Hall celebrating my 30th birthday. The house itself is fantastic – spacious, beautiful and perfect for a large group. Everything was exactly as described and worked really well for a celebration.
Communication with the staff was excellent throughout. They were responsive, helpful and made the whole process very smooth from booking through to our stay.
We all had a great time and the house made the weekend really special. I would highly recommend it.

Such an epic house
Such an epic house - we were perfectly looked after, with Alex even helping unload the Sainsbury’s shop. We had a private chef A to Zest who made it all so easy and the food was brilliant. Getting there and back from London in a weekend was no problem at all.

The property itself (Magpie Farm) was stunning and we had a problem free, fantastic weekend.

Our experience with Big House Experience was really positive. The booking process was straightforward. The communication leading up to the event, and afterwards, has generally been brilliant; there was one occasion where they were late in asking for the balancing payment, but they were apologetic. I would use them again for sure.

Magpie Farm is a superb house
Magpie Farm is a superb house, well equipped, excellent for a big family get-together, particularly the indoor swimming pool and snooker room, but lots of space for different activities. The country park nearby was good for family walks. The house was clean and well looked after. Everything was dealt with efficiently.

60th birthday joy
17 of us booked our stay at Magpie Farm for my 60th birthday . I had deliberated a long time choosing this property and we all thought the choice was perfect . The house holds such a happy energy and gave us a wonderful weekend of celebrations. We loved all the different areas in the house , we spent a lot of time cooking together as a group in the extremely well equipped kitchen . We had afternoons with the fire burning watching films & rugby , evenings enjoying dinners and dancing until the early hours . Time in the pool, games room and grounds. I really can’t recommend using Big Experience and Magpie Farm enough for a fantastic stay. I’d like to think that the amazing man who built this house can see what joy it gave us for our time there.

Amazing Experience in Heathcote Manor
My friends and I recently stayed at Heathcote Manor for my 50th birthday celebration, which was arranged through Big House Experience.
If I had a way to give six stars here, I would certainly have done it. Perhaps even seven!
The house is an amazing mansion with 15 bedrooms, many common areas and a vast piece of land. Bedrooms are comfortable and warm, all amenities are provided. The kitchen can suit he Master Chef and the Bar can serve guests of any sophistication. My friends especially loved the two hot tubs outside the main house facing the lawn. And the working fireplace in the drawing room is super cozy!
All in all, a great experience, amazing hosts and excellent communication from Big House Experience!

We used Winnie’s Catering for our meals and Steph was excellent.

White Gable House Exeter
Stayed White Gable House in Exeter for a long weekend, 4 families in total. Great location near Exeter Centre & quay. Bags of room across the house and lodge, and use of cinema and gym and pool and hot tub made for lots of fun. Recommend visit to Darts Farm.
