Today I received an email from a "company" called Bikemajor.com. I've never heard the name before so I had to look into what it is. They had written in the email that I had opened an account and signed up for some kind of subscription as far as I understood - so I sent an email to the company (You can't see on the internet wall where they are located.)
I wrote to them that I have not signed up for an account or signed up for anything else with them - and I also asked, where they got my email from ... and they also have my name. Among other things, they wrote in the email to me that "I have recently opened an account with them". As I said, I first sent them an email asking them to delete my name, but they did not respond to that with a direct reply but wrote that my account now would expire on 30/10. I wrote back that they should close the account they were talking about IMMEDIATELY, but that too only got an indifferent reply where they wrote; "We are currently processing your requests and you will receive a response via the first ticket you created shortly." To this I replied that I have not created any ticket, which is true. I have no idea what they are talking about and this is incredibly rude behavior.
I consider their operation to be close to being a scam on the internet that should be reported, and I warn anyone who may receive the same email to take action. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL INBOX FOR AN EMAIL FROM BIKEMAJOR.COM.
