I spoke with Babs today about arranging for a large skip delivery to my house on a specific day and at a specific time by a specifically sized ( four wheel truck ) vehicle.
Babs couldn’t have been more helpful if her life depended on it and I’m confident that all the proper pre-planning is now in place.

Great company to work for

A driver of a large refuse collection vehicle drove dangerously through a 20mph zone in Blairgowrie town centre this morning.

If the vehicle has telemetry, it was at around 10:07am today 23/10/25, travelling downhill at Allan St onto Wellmeadow. The drivers speed was such that he crossed the middle divider as he rounded the blind corner onto Wellmeadow.

As a precaution, while travelling the opposite direction, I was forced to stop my car completely as it wasn't clear at what point they would return to their own side of the carriage way. For a moment, I questioned whether the vehicle was out of control.

Had there been a pedestrian crossing beyond the blind corner it's my opinion the truck may have been unable to stop.

I can't think of any valid reason for driving in this manner - even if behind schedule, drivers of all vehicles have a responsibility to drive in a manner that doesn't endanger innocent bystanders.

We are a small local charity and have used Binn Group for the last 3 years. They have given us excellent service and always give prompt support and great customer service. We value their commitment to the environment and the mitigation of climate change
