This company should specifically state if you’ve had cancer, that you can’t donate! Instead they make you go through the process and waste several hours of your time. I would say it looks like 75% of the people who come here are on drugs!

No one explained to me the new donor coupon to me so instead of getting the $90, I only received $40

I have never been banned from a donation center. I donated regularly in Colorado and have never been treated like shit...Waco biolife, needs to do better...i respect rules and regs...when going to donate i was turned away for an exact match than waited for the amount of days they ( biolife employee) told me to and went back. I was able to donate, had my physical everything was fine , i asked ok when can i come back to do my next donation, the employee said a certain date and i was there that day...got thru the questions and finger prick and ding again an exact match ...like wth i was told i could go back that day and did...and i only donated there no where else ...so what the hell...they really need to get it straight ...so they tell me now im banned from there for "LIFE" R U FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! THE LADY WAS RUDE AND HAD THE NERVE TO SAY" THEY CAN'T TRUST ME" HUH TRUST ME ...U FREAKING TOLD ME I COULD DONATE AGAIN THAT DAY....BANNED FOR LIFE.....

I gave plasma without asking the amount I would get. I was shocked to only get $40. But I was even more shocked to find messages in my app, sent over a few months, asking me to come back and offering stepwise increases for each donation. The last offer, still valid, started at $60! So, if I come back as my own idea, you knock me down $20? Cheapskates! And, finding someone to contact about it...??? A system designed to make a person give up. Like I'd go back now!

After allowing money to be deducted from the card, the agents(plural) simply blame the issue on the merchants and supervisors appear to be non existent, even for a call back it appears that they are now stealing money from donors and are making readjustments to accounts. These issues JUST started happening as of 9/2026. The location and staff where I frequent are great but the customer service line is useless and not necessary since information is limited and unhelpful. Why should we, the Donors wait for a merchant hold to be released when there was no transaction to begin with?! As the agents told me it's to make sure the money is there and to try using a credit option that isn't even available

Been a client over two years with a known asthmatic conditions and was able to donate! 61 years of being a non smoking asthmatic, today it was determined that because a doctors note was written as being a mild case of Asthma/COPD I’m no longer eligible to donate cause of a clerical error! My Opinion Medical staff needs better qualified members in evaluating clients medical histories! My actual rating would be -5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Pensacola location is completely mismanaged. One is forced to make an appointment through the app and then one has to wait an hour+ after vitals to get to a bed. To make it worse, one must stand in a slowly moving line during this time. Also, something is wrong with their machines. I have been donating for ten+ years and have not had a single unable to return plasma after extraction. With Biolife, it happened two out of three tries. What is the purpose of forcing someone to make an appointment when the process takes two-to-three times as long as a walk-in center?

They should be prosecuted for theft by taking of people's time. I think the "nurse" believes shes playing doctor. What a joke of an establishment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR PUT YOURSELF IN DANGER GOING TO BIOPLASMA ANYWHERE. SHE SAID A SMALL RASH ON MY FACE, I GOT GLYE ON MY FACE THAT DAY, WAS LIVER FAILURE. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY LEGALLY GET AWAY WITH THIS.

This is the worst plasma facility ever the customer service is horrible I'm talking about the ones who actually withdraw the plasma from you I would not recommend 87th and state street to a dog I which I could take back the one star because that's what they really deserve the technicians !!!!!

I decided to donate plasma because I received one of their donation offers in an email: 4 donations (within 30 days) for $400. The nearest center to me is an hour’s drive away. I made an appointment and arrived within the grace period (5 minutes late). When I check in, the technician informs me that they have only one nurse working that day. So instead of the process taking one hour, it would take two or three hours. I was a bit annoyed because they didn’t inform me sooner, but figured I was already there, so I might as well stay. I got there at around 4:45pm. I didn’t get to the donation chair until after 8pm. The nurse checks my arms and I tell her that my veins are tricky and have been known to collapse. She said that would t be a problem. A different nurse comes over to take my blood before the donation process. While she was drawing the blood from my left arm, my vein rolled. Apparently the first nurse didn’t inform the second nurse of what I said about my veins. She decides to check my right arm. She didn’t like the way the veins looked (they looked like surface veins), so she didn’t even try to get plasma from the right arm. In all, I spent almost four hours and was only paid $30 because it wasn’t a successful donation. Complete waste of time. Never again.

Overall, my experience at BioLife has been good, and the staff have been helpful. However, there are two things I believe could be improved.

First, some of the music played in the facility feels inappropriate for a professional healthcare environment, especially with patients present. I also feel that staff should be mindful of speaking negatively about or criticizing coworkers in front of patients. It can make patients uncomfortable and does not create the professional atmosphere you would expect in a healthcare setting.

I hope BioLife will take this feedback into consideration because, aside from these concerns, I have had a good experience.

What a POS establishment. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment with everything filled out in advance. Dude near the desk asked if I had an appointment, yes, and said he’d be right with me. 30 minutes later still waiting, dude was helping a woman who came in 10 minutes after me, who was 20 minutes late for her scheduled appointment. I’m like dude, WTF? I voiced my displeasure and walked out. F this. My time is valuable, AND you don’t help people who were not next. BS.

I really wish it was a space for no stars. This place is a scam. I tried going again after the first horrible experience I had and the second time around was even worse. Still have outdated equipment, rude and incompetent (nurses) non-caring staff. I’d rather stand in the sun and sell water than go back. Worst plasma center ever!!!

I have donated here for three years.
Today I came in at 6:30 pm
it’s 9:33 pm. and I am still have not donated.
I am making $50. This is a horrible place. They have four people working here with all these patients still waiting. Please do not ever waste your valuable time here.

They are full of shit
After my first donation of plasma I went down there a second time to donate plasma of course they wouldn't let me donate because something about abnormal protein they wanted me to go see my doctor and I did and the doctor said that the protein was fine but I went to draw blood to be sure to check my protein level and my protein level is fine
So I went back down there too give them the paper and the number to my doctor and the name of my doctor one of your nurses wanted to get information about my doctor on the computer apparently she couldn't find it one of the nurses that works over there is actually a liar the nurse pointed to one part of the chart and then talked about a spike I don't have abnormal protein levels at all after I showed the results of everything to one of the nurses
I'm not exactly sure what qualifications a person has to have over there to be working there but really they don't know what they are doing and I'm talking about the nurses that works over there

First of all we did plasma and they gave us our card of doing plasma and we didn’t even get our money on the card everybody kept on saying a fee, but we did not have no fee thinking about having a fee for a card. We only use the card once we didn’t even buy anything with the card we bought a Snickers bar and then we had to buy a bunch of groceries at Walmart so we use them. We try to use a card and they decline even though we only bought like a two dollar Snickers at the Family Dollar and the price was only like 64 bucks and there was 100 on the card awful service too

I solely signed up to donate plasma at BioLife to obtain their new patient financial benefits. Upon arrival, half an hour early, I had to wait 20 minutes in a line. Then, the greeting receptionist asked when I last ate. Being that I am vegan, eat healthy, and saw nothing in their online documents about food consumption requirements prior to an appointment, I was at a loss when asked about the time of my last meal. I reported the truth, which was that I ate at 8:00 am. The appointment was scheduled at 11:59, and Inwas told I could not donate. The receptionist was extremely rude in telling me this 'unwritten' requirement, and she called a nurse to speak with me privately. The nurse was great, though! This policy, as I explained to the nurse, was foolish! I explained that I have donated plasma and platelets for years and have never been turned away. Beyond this, it is one's body that detemines their ability to donate, NOT a verbal statement indicating their last meal! The nurse agreed that people can lie, and I could have done the same! However, I will not sacrifice my ethics and values to meet anyone's requirements! Although it will pay a bit less, I will return to CSL Plasma, where they are much friendlier and rely on actual facts to determine if I can donate! Your loss BioLife!!
