Just wanted to say ur “custom” book sucks. How am in 36 pages in and you’ve only had a couple pages on the sun sign and moon sign. Let alone you use SO MANY unique and unfamiliar words that I’m constantly having to look up your insane vocabulary. Ever heard of writing at a 4th grade reading level? And you’re encouraging “multiple” partners just because someone is an Aquarius Moon ?!? WHAT A RIP OFF

After what I think was place order the website gave me a back icon and checked everything. after viewing, went through an placed order. birthdate.co sent me two books and billing for two! I talked to the company and the end results was too bad, you bought two. Now I get to go through the bank & try to cancel one payment ?

I ordered a candle and a book, which the book was completely overpriced, but I still wanted to gift it to someone so I purchased. Somehow, I ended up with a may 12th candle and a may 25th book. Partly it was on me because I missed that detail, but being a company, I would think that they would want you to get the whole experience especially if you paid for it. There was nothing they could do to fix the situation so in the end I was out of a gift and about 170 dollars. I planned on purchasing from them again but after my experience, and how they didn’t handle the situation, I wouldn’t recommend and most definitely those candle are BASIC AND FAR FROM WORTH WHAT YOU PAY. Save yourself the money and trouble, don’t purchase.

I purchased the candle and book set as a gift for my sisters birthday. There must have been a mix-up with the addresses because they sent the candle to my house (in Canada!) but then sent the book to my sisters house in Australia. I've sent multiple emails over the past week and haven't heard a thing back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

These candles are overpriced and basic. I ordered 4. Only one had a pamphlet in it saying how to get the best from your candle. Scents aren't strong or unique. Buy a nice candle else where, get an astrology ready from a book and have it out on the candle. This was my first time and, it is definitely my last. Not worth the money.

I received the 2 candles today that I ordered. One was for me the other was a gift. It is very small for the price that you pay. These candles are WAY to small for the price I paid.

Ordered a candle for my friends birthday a week in advance to ensure it arrived on time. When I still didn’t have a dispatch email by the day of the birthday I emailed them. They then told me there was a backlog of 215 orders and they don’t have any labels! I told them they should communicate this on their website if they can’t fulfil orders, and told them if it didn’t arrive within two weeks of order, I’d like a refund. Instead they just cancelled the order… In all honestly, the concept is cute but you could probably do it yourself for €5 just buy a candle and print a label. Their prices are a rip off for what it is and judging by the reviews, they’re not even quality checked. AVOID!

Do not buy from them. I asked for an ETA when my order will be dispatched and they said they do not have a time frame?? it's 2022, not 1962??? As soon as I requested a refund, they went quiet. I had to go via PayPal to get a refund.

I bought 2 candles, one has a typo and one is really messily made - feels very homemade (cheaply) rather than the artisan vibe they try to portray. Quite unprofessional finish for the price, the packaging is also really flimsy and the candle is too heavy for it, falls out the bottom

It is nice to have a personalized gift, but I think those are made with paraben and gives me and my boyfriend trully bad headache...

Their candles have become my go-to gift for all of my family and friends! It's so personalized all of my friends loved. I had an issue once where my candle arrived broken due to shipping (to be fair it was over the Holidays & during COVID). I sent them a picture, they immediately apologized and sent me a replacement. The candle I bought for myself months ago, I now use as my coffee cup! Love that it's dish-washer sefe!

Ordered one of the personalised books. Item arrived damaged and with clear production issues. Customer service didn't dispute the issues but said they wouldn't issue a refund.

Love the idea of these products but they are not worth the cost, and if your are sent out something faulty you will be stuck with it.

I really like my candle! Sure, it's gimmicky, but makes for a good gift. Mine originally came with a slightly torn label, and after I emailed, customer service immediately sent a replacement. I knew the reading wasn't going to be completely accurate because what horoscope is? But it looks really cute in my room, smells nice, and wasn't too expensive on the Black Friday offer.

I received a birthdate.co candle as a gift from a relative, and it is disappointing in so many ways. First, the glass container was shattered at the top, but I am not even going to tell the gift-giver about this because I do not want a replacement. There was no padding in the small cardboard box in which the candle was packed, and it was shipped directly from birthdate.co. Second, words cannot describe how horrible this candle smells, even without lighting it. I had to take it outside to my trash bin within 30 minutes of opening the box, it was so pungent. It was a skunky rose scent that apparently all the candles for my birth month have. I made the mistake of touching the top and cannot even wash the smell off my fingers. The stench lingers in my nose and throat. Third, the label includes all kinds of astrology and tarot mumbo jumbo, which is insulting to my intelligence, but I would shrug that off if this thing wasn't so stinky and glass-shattered. What a racket this company is: It makes 12 different styles of candles (one for each month), slaps a couple of preprinted labels on them, calls them "personalized," ships them in woefully inadequate packaging and charges a list price of $48! Yes, $48, according to its website. Each month's candle has the same scent, and if they're all even a fraction as disgusting as mine, I imagine most of them are instantly thrown in the trash. Do not waste your money!
