Superb from start to finish, refreshing level of client service. We couldn't be happier with our ring. The entrance to the Blackacre office and workshop is a bit secret but that's all part of the appeal. The team were in regular contact with me right from the start and I felt totally relaxed (surprisingly) at every stage. The final piece was just remarkable and has been swooned over by friends family and even other jewellers! Well done Blackacre

I bought an engagement ring from Blackacre earlier this month. Couldn't have been happier with the service. We spent ages looking at different jewellery shops before coming across Blackacre online. From the moment I first spoke to the team I felt at ease and knew I wanted them to make my ring. They simply make jewellery that clients order so there was no heavy sales approach which was really refreshing. I felt like a jewellery expert by the end of the process. Highly recommended and wouldn't bother going anywhere else!

I came across Blackacre whilst searching for my dream engagement ring online. Having searched everywhere and done lots of research I went to see the team in their office. I was immediately struck by how professional they are but also the fact that the quality of their work is head and shoulders above all the other shops I had visited.

From the first moment I met with them I felt at ease as they are a team of jewellers rather than retailers so there was no salesy approach at all. All the team were interested in was creating a perfect ring for me.

They also really took their time to understand my requirements and budget and were able to give specific advice to help me refine my idea. They also supported me with advice to help me maximise my budget. For example we looked at two 1.10ct stones which were the same quality however one had a wider diameter from a birds eye view so appeared bigger and therefore offered better value for money.

Their products are not cheap but they are incredible value once you see the level of skill involved in the creation of each piece. Speaking to the team, although they are based in Hatton Garden, they do not consider the shops in the surrounding area to be their competitors. Instead they believe the major brand names such as Tiffany, Boodles, De Beers to be their competitors in terms of quality. When you start to think of it like that then you quickly see why my Blackacre ring was amazing quality and unbelievably good value.

If you are looking to spend alot on a ring but still want to make sure you get what you are paying for then Blackacre should be perfect for you. I will definitely be coming back.

What an experience! Having made the decision not to trawl through an arcade of jewellers and diamond dealers I came across Sam and Blackacre having seen their work with a friend's engagement ring. The 1st consultation formed both an education into stones themselves and also an insight into the creation of what was to be my most important purchase to date. This was followed with what felt like an exclusive tour of the workshop that left me feeling hugely inspired, confident and excited about the journey ahead. Sam kept in touch throughout the process, with multiple touchpoints along the way, and listened to my feedback. The ring he produced blew me away! It didn't just matched the brief, it exceeded expectations. The experience on the whole added so much magnitude to the proposal and she loved it! Excellent work team Blackacre!

Easy 5 stars. What stood out for my experience was the level of service. Sam met with me on a frequent basis in my office/wherever was convenient for me and at a time that suited. We had an initial consultation to understand my requirements and budget and we talked through some designs. We then met to take a look at a selection of diamonds based on my requirements and then kicked off the ring making process!

Sam kept me in the loop the entire way, shared pictures throughout the design process etc. He was always on hand to answer ad-hoc queries and concerns that I had and was able to share personal opinion which helped reassure me.

At no point did I feel like ‘a number’, the process was never rushed and I felt really valued as a client. Response times to queries were very quick and even at weekends/evenings when I wouldn’t expect to receive replies!

When I opened the ring box I was in awe of how beautifully it was constructed. The ring was made to my exact requirements and I couldn’t have loved it more! After service was equally great as we needed it resized which was done in record time – less than 24 hours!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, start to finish, and will definitely be recommending Blackacre to others.

It was March 2018 when my amazing fiancé along with the Blackacre team created the ring of my dreams. A magnificent bespoke emerald cut diamond with a halo around it.
The attention to detail and the exquisite workmanship make this ring a work of art that I shall always cherish.

Sam and the Blackacre team were fantastic. Getting the perfect engagement ring is a pretty daunting process, but Sam was there to provide the right support and guidance from start to finish. The team provide an incredibly personal and high quality service, they really took time to understand the taste of my other half, so they could advise me on the right stones/style/cut. My fiancee absolutely loves her ring and I couldn't recommend Blackacre highly enough.

The Blackacre team were amazing. My husband had designed my engagement ring with Sam and it was so personal and beautiful that I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to design my wedding ring. Sam asked me what I wanted and after doing some initial research I told him what I was after. The team made a couple of mock ups for me to choose from and we talked about a third option that combined elements of both!! The Blackacre team delivered in such great time and I am so pleased with the result. I proudly show the rings off to everyone that ask to see them. If you want something that is special then I would highly recommend going to Blackacre. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt as though they had really understood what I was after and they certainly delivered. With Blackacre you are guaranteed to get bespoke design, beautiful quality, good value for money and a professional yet super friendly service. You'd be mad not to use them!

It was the best experience ever! We got to see the whole process of how my ring would be created. Sam (the owner) took an hour to sit with us and teach us all about the creation process. We were given a tour of the workshop, and taught about the journey the gemstones had been on. I ended up choosing a beautiful sapphire for my ring. Sam had prepared a range of 10 different stones for us to choose from (all from Sri Lanka). It just added to our experience that we were able to see photos and videos of the mine in Sri Lanka of where they had come from. For me personally knowing that my purchase had such a positive impact on a small community in a country I love was the icing on the cake! I could not recommend this company more. Not many people know of them right now but I guess that is all part of the beauty of it!

Sam and the team at Blackacre have just worked with us to create my engagement ring and our wedding rings. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Being involved in the process in this unique way was so exciting and gave so much more meaning to the rings. The end result is absolutely spectacular as well as extra special to us.

I couldn’t be happier with my recent purchase from Blackacre. I feel compelled to write a review which I rarely do because my experience with Blackacre was second to none. It was a real privilege to be able to go into the workshop and see the rings being made first-hand. The level of craftsmanship and skill involved in the creation of the rings is outstanding and I couldn’t recommend the service and experience more highly. For anyone looking for behind-the-scenes access and a really special experience this is the perfect company for you and I wish I could do it all over again!

Fantastic service and product! Was very happy with our purchase. In particular they were honest and open with pricing, gave guidance and input on choosing what’s right for us, and delivered a really high quality item on time.

I don't usually leave reviews, however with Blackacre I feel compelled to do so. My experience with Sam and his team was by far the best I have ever had. I was made to feel very special and felt incredibly well informed every single step of the way, even once we had finalised the transaction and I was married, Sam was on hand with any support that we needed.

I understand that there are endless companies and deals out there, however if you are looking for the very best, nothing can compare to the Blackacre experience.

Fantastic service delivered by Blackacre. The ring they produced was beautiful quality and very artistic. They were easy to deal with and kept us up to date with the progress of our engagement ring. We used Blackacre for both our engagement ring and wedding rings and would highly recommend their services.

Sam and his team at Blackacre created the most exquisite engagement ring using a diamond which was a family heirloom. I couldn't have wished for anything more beautiful and I am so grateful that they helped design and create something that means so much to both my fiance and I. I couldn’t recommend Blackacre enough - the service was exceptional throughout. The professionalism from the whole Blackacre team was second to none - especially through dealing with Sam first hand.
