Blacklyte Avaliações

The chair is incredible quality and very comfortable. Assembly is easy and could be done by one person. Customer service is great as well. I was originally sent a defective base and was sent an entire new chair a couple days later free of charge. Would highly recommend the Athena Pro chair and the brand as a whole

I paid premium money for the Blacklyte Kraken Pro and expected premium quality and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating from the very beginning.

When the chair arrived, I genuinely believed parts were missing because one side of the backrest had no rail while the other side did. The assembly instructions were also confusing, the lever position did not match the documentation, and the included screwdriver setup added even more frustration during assembly.

What made the situation worse was the initial response I received from Mary, which came across as rude and dismissive rather than understanding and professional. When customers spend this kind of money on a premium chair, they expect support that reflects the premium branding of the company.

After finally putting the chair together, I discovered the chair has noticeable left-to-right wobble. Even after tightening everything properly, the chair still shifts enough that it genuinely feels unstable when sitting in it. I sent Blacklyte a video showing the issue, and instead of offering a meaningful resolution, I was told by their QC department that this amount of movement is “completely normal” due to the chair’s “Frog Mechanism” design.

What disappointed me even more was that throughout the process, I was repeatedly asked to revise or update my review after being offered a small $40 refund. To me, that refund does not come close to matching the premium price of this chair or the overall experience I had.

To be fair, Stella’s communication itself was professional and polite. However, the overall handling of the situation left me feeling dismissed rather than genuinely helped. A premium gaming chair should inspire confidence and stability, not make the customer question whether the chair is functioning correctly every time they sit down.

At this price point, I simply expected far better quality control, better assembly documentation, and a more customer-focused resolution process.

Very easy to assemble. The chair is confortable and allt the adjustment are as describe

Blacklyte Customer Service have been incredibly helpful sorting out my issue. I don't think I've ever received such good customer care. 5 stars well deserved.

Very confortable and amazing gaming chair, would recommend it 1000% !
Had some small issues with cushion delivery but customer service has been over amazing so i would do nothing but praise for them too !

Shipping was quick and easy. Love the chair compared to my cheap old one from Amazon. Enjoy the fact that it is comfortable and sturdy.

Did hours upon hours of research after seeing a lot of positive reviews I landed on the Blacklyte Athena! I’m glad I did, this chair is well built, easy to assemble and very comfortable for the long hours I spend in it.

Chair was pretty similar to secretlab titan evo. Customer support was top notch!

Highly recommend this chair.
Wanted a chair for my home office and gaming setup. I have Secret Labs through the work office, but wanted to try something different.

These are almost comfier than the competition and for a fraction of the cost. Super happy with the purchase. Got my mate onto them as well, he's stoked.

I ordered the Athena Pro after looking into some reviews and deciding to give it a try. For the most part, I'm very satisfied. The chair got to me in like 3 or 4 days. The delivery required a signature, which wasn't expected and complicated things a little as I wasn't around so I had to have it sent to a Fed ex facility so I could pick it up. Assembly was almost perfect. One of the screw holes wasn't drilled correctly so it was super hard to get it installed,. But after switching tools, I got it eventually. For the price, I'd expect not to have issues like that, but it didn't render the chair useless in the end.

The chair itself is very comfortable and the amount of adjustment options is awesome. Being able to lock the tilt of the chair has helped with my sitting posture and I can feel the difference significantly.

Got the Athena Pro Leatherette in White.

Came in a heavy box, but was surprisingly easy to assemble!

Finally something comfortable for my setup. The pillow is surprisingly comfortable. I've had it less than a week and I accidentally fell asleep in it already!

The chair is very solid, no squeaks, or rocking, and the rollerblade wheels make this super smooth. Huge upgrade from my previous chair.

A note to taller people, the maximum height is a bit shorter than usual. Be aware if you are 6ft or taller.

I’ve been using my Blacklyte chair for a bit now, and it’s simple it just works.
It’s sturdy, comfortable, and doesn’t feel cheap. Once I adjusted it to my liking, I could sit for hours without getting uncomfortable. The back support actually helps, which isn’t always the case with chairs like this.
The design is clean and not over-the-top, so it fits nicely in my setup.

The chair I ordered was on back order so had to wait a little while but the brilliant customer service answered my emails really really quickly and kept me reassured throughout. 100% worth the wait as the quality is second to none the build was a breeze. So in all really really happy. Only down side I need to buy another 3 as the mrs and two kids want one.

Amazing chair incredibly comfortable and super easy to build

Even though the box was destroyed upon arrival the chair was so well packaged that there was zero damage, took me about 30 minutes to assemble and has so far held up, using my PC area for 16 hours a day for work and gaming this has been a life changer to my posture, comfort and enjoyment at my pc, also side bonus i got a 10% increase to my gaming skill since getting this chair (Athena Pro V2)

Delivery was super quick, and the chair has been great. It offers so many more adjustments than I am used to, so I can always set it to something that is going to be comfy for a gaming session.

Honest review. The chair is built to last! It is mostly comfortable and has all the extras that the cheap chairs just don't have. My fav is being able to lock it into any position. The seat cushion is definitely more firm than I was expecting. Likely meant for someone bigger than me as I'm 160lbs. While it's more firm than I would like it's not too firm or I would send it back. I'm just not a fan of firm anything. Overall best chair in its price range. I truly believe I will be enjoying it for years to come!

Customer service wasn’t helpful. Offer me $40 refund or a back rest since the chair was uncomfortable. When I asked for a refund they told me now they couldn’t do either option and ask me to change my review to a 5 star. Guessing they was trying to blackmail to get their review up which just makes me not want to more. The chair is very uncomfortable. Makes noises after only a couple months of use. The build quality is terrible. Stay away from this company. A cheap $100 amazon chair will give you better comfort and build quality. If you’re looking to pay the extra go with secret labs. Way better bang for your buck.

Easy to order, fast shipping, I love my chair

Easy ordering process and very quick delivery. The chair arrived packaged better than anything I have ever received, it was easy to install and instructions were very clear. Only have the chair for a short period I can tell it is very comfortable with tons of adjustments.
