Blinds installed

Blinds installed. But got them repaired twice for free. Third time broke now. Faulty installations. Now they are saying no fixing is free. Have to pay 170 dollars just for technician to come and see and pay out of pocket to fix. Don’t get fooled by lifetime warranty

Hi Shilpa, we are sorry to hear about this issue you have had with the blinds. Your blinds will always be repaired free of charge under the warranty. As a courtesy, BTG paid for an installer to come pick up /drop off the blinds the first time(s); however, this service is not included in the warranty normally. If you could update your review/information so we have an order number and way to contact you we would appreciate it so we can look into this more and see what we can do to help!

WOW!

From the moment I entered the store and was greeted by Pina, the entire process that followed was absolutely seamless. She asked the right questions, showed me options and samples and before I knew it I had a plan and couldn't wait for the samples to arrive in the mail! From there, after I made my choice my window and door coverings were custom made in no time! Mark came to install them and was so efficient, and neat and took any garbage/recycling with him. From Pina to Ida to Mark, the entire team was great to work with and would definitely go back there again!

I had a mostly positive experience with…

I had a mostly positive experience with Blinds To Go. Pina, the sales rep in Woodbridge was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I loved the wide selection of options, felt the pricing was a good value, and most of the blinds for my five rooms arrived and were installed quickly and look great.
Unfortunately, the bathroom blind was sized incorrectly, and resolving this has taken far longer than expected. While the sales and service teams have been very courteous and responsive, the blind has now been made incorrectly twice. This has required multiple appointments and long wait times, and I am still without the correct blind. At this point, the ongoing delays and repeated errors have been quite frustrating.
Given that the blind has been wrong twice and the extended wait to correct it, I do feel some form of compensation would be appropriate. That said, the other blinds were great, and the staff has been wonderful to work with overall.

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced with the bathroom blind along the way. Even though the issue has now been resolved, having it made incorrectly twice and waiting longer than expected is understandably disappointing and not the experience we want for our customers.

I wanted to let you know that I’m currently discussing this with Pina, and we’ll be getting back to you tomorrow regarding compensation. Our goal is to ensure you feel properly taken care of after everything you went through.

Perfect service from Ashour

We had a really great help from Ashour Elia to select the fabric we like, the type of the blinds for our needs. The blinds we got first time had a bit of deficiency, so Ashour ordered the new one with no charge. New blinds are perfect and we really enjoy them. Thank you very much!

Terrible Customer Support No Responses

The wrong size and style of blinds were delivered from the factory so one out of the three were installed + the bluetooth was also left out. Then when I tried to contact customer service AND the rep that sold me the package, I received no answers. After 3 attempts and emails, no answers. Luckily the installer was very diligent and connected me directly to someone who actually cared about customer service. The two of them arranged for the replacement. To this day, I received no communication from the people I've been emailing: Fred Capobianco and customer support. No apologies.

Thank you so much for sharing this, and I’m genuinely sorry for how frustrating and disappointing this experience has been. Receiving the wrong size and style blinds, missing the Bluetooth component, and then feeling ignored when you reached out for help is absolutely not okay. You deserved clear communication, follow-up, and a sincere apology much earlier.

I’m really glad the installer stepped up and helped connect you with someone who could move things forward but you shouldn’t have had to work that hard just to get support. We truly dropped the ball here, especially with the lack of response from the people you were trying to reach.

I did want to let you know that I tried calling you today because I’d really like to talk this through with you personally and make sure everything is handled the right way. I wasn’t able to reach you, but I’ll try again tomorrow.

Again, I’m very sorry for the silence and the frustration it caused. We appreciate you sharing this and giving us the chance to reconnect and make things right.
