I joined the board for my estate at the same time as Jade Tarrant joined BNS. I found that dealing with her has been very efficient and has responded clearly and professionally to all our current tasks. My responsibility is to oversee the estate on behalf of the residents and linking any tasks with BNS, I am very thankful for the efforts and work Jade has done.

BNS has been pretty good at handling the few cases I had. Not always the fastest (although on some smaller issues very fast, indeed!), but I accept that in the case of my building there are lots of apartments to deal with. In the end they always come through and handle things professionally.

Over priced and frustrating to deal with - once I sold my flat I had to pay an astronomical fee for them to send a pack to my lawyer - now a month after selling I’m told I still owe them money- for what I have no idea as nothing was asked for whilst in the process of selling.

I have found the service from BNS awful. They are very difficult to contact. I emailed my property manager about a leak and she rarely responded to emails, I had to constantly chase her up. After 9 weeks of chasing I finally got a reply from her manager who said she had never arranged for the maintenance work to be done. I have asked multiple times to arrange a meeting to discuss my concerns with the service BNS have provided, and have always had these requests ignored.
In response to your reply, the manager also doesn't respond to emails in a timely manner and I am constantly chasing him up. In fact I got a reply to this quicker than my other emails, maybe I should just communicate with you via this site. I do not think the contractors showed up, but I can't be sure because as usual my property manager is not providing updates.

As neither of my flats are now not managed (Bowood and Beaufort) by you,don’t see the point,in wasting my time.
It must be on your records the dozens of issues,that you never sorted out,and your very poor management,of the properties.

Found BNS very helpful and a decent company to deal with, brilliant service managing my property. I will carry on using BNS for the foreseeable future.

The company do not advise the owners of the properties when they have arranged services, they do not respond to communication. They do not spend the funds efficiently, they waste our money and are never able to produce receipts for the services they claim they have arranged and used our funds for. If I had the opportunity to choose a property management company I would not choose BNS.
In response to your reply - my account manager did not respond, I had to send a chaser email to the info address. I have since sent another email to my account manager and once again have not received a response.

Don’t pay invoices on time, don’t respond to emails until chased, don’t get competitive quotes for work, don’t use initiative when planning order of works.
Absolutely useless and a total waste of money.

All The reviews below are True. I have experienced the same happen to me in my flat, Where it has taken them two years to figure out what is wrong with my leaking roof. Sending round bad contractors who have no knowledge.

The worst property management company I have ever come across. Rude, useless staff who have no interest in helping you. Over charge or repairs & maintenance adding on ridiculous fees. Hoping watchdog will intervene and investigate this company as unfortunately I have no control over the managers of my property.
Several changes of managers has ensured a level of chaos that is quite unacceptable in a professional company. Our small property has been left with so many issues caused by poor communication and inertia that I would not recommend them in any circumstances.
BNS did not provide the service we contracted with them, and seemed to pick and choose the parts of the service they wanted. Procedures set in place to ensure we agreed to any contractor charges were not followed.
I would not recommend this company.
First time dealing with a management company, It has not been a great start, 2 Estate managers later, and lots of hard work from some of the home owners, we now have a reasonable working relationship with BNS. They are more used to dealing with blocks of flats rather than a small private estate of homes, with no affordable property's
Its still work in progress, but it is improving slowly. Time will tell if they last the distance.
