I first heard about Botanycl from seeing the Dragons Den episode. Up until this point I had suffered with skin issues for a long time; mainly acne. I tried loads of products, some seemed to work for a short period but then I'd continue having break outs. Once I'd seen the pitch Caroline gave about how hormones can affect your skin causing all sorts of problems I paid attention, obviously this wasn't something I had considered as a cause. The fact the she had done all sorts of research into this and also sourced natural and safe ingredients too I did think maybe it was too good to be true. So I did my own research into it and after a while I thought I'd give it a go for a couple of months to see if there's a difference, if it works great, if not at least I tried.
My skin started getting bad in my late 20's (in my 30's now), and got particularly bad in lockdown when it was compulsory to wear face masks at work and in public. Before I would get a couple of spots on my chin and maybe my forehead, but just before lockdown and during it was bad, I'd constantly have breakouts around my chin and mouth and even my neck. Tried all manner of washes, cleansers, creams etc. some helped but nothing worked. I'd religiously look after my skin. At one point it got so bad I went to my GP and was prescribed Lymecycline for a 2 month period, this helped a little but was taken off by the GP as it's bad to take antibiotics for long periods of time due to it causing issues with immune system. Then I started taking Skin Clear Elixir.
It took about a month to month and a half to see results, she does say on the website that results vary individually. It's been nearly 2.5 years now, started taking in April 2023, and I haven't looked back since. My skin is clear and I may have the odd spot here and there but the breakouts are few and far between now. I take everyday day and make sure I have a good skincare routine to go with this supplement. Had no idea my acne was being caused by an imbalance of hormones and I'm so thankful to the team at Botanycl for this amazing product.
It's worth every penny and is cheaper on subscription. The website is so easy to use and you can also skip a month if you need to and won't be charged anything, you can also re-schedule delivery days if you're unavailable. If you're having issues with your skin I cannot recommend this product enough. The message service is helpful too and it's not a chatbot or automated at all, it's a personal experience.

I have previously used many different products to try and clear the constant outbreaks I was still experiencing at the age of 37 - especially around my chin. I saw this product, read the reviews and decided to try. After 2 weeks there was a very noticeable different in that the redness had significantly reduced around my chin area and after another week I had no blemishes at all. In the last 5-6 weeks I've had one spot appear that disappeared after 48 hours. I was seriously impressed and really happy with the results. Consistency is definitely key and understanding it can take a couple of weeks to see results. But im so glad I took the chance and stayed with it because the results have been amazing.

No problem, as usual

I have suffered with terrible acne since mid teens- pretty much always been on antibiotics/topical treatment from the doctors in an attempt to manage it to a level that I can cover with makeup- I’ve had odd times where it has stayed clearer when I have had 2 courses of the strongest treatment from the consultant but generally always needed something. Most recently I was having deep cystic acne that was getting worse despite being on medication from the GP. I saw about these capsules on dragons den and decided to try them as the pitch was heartfelt and I thought it was worth a try. I genuinely am so amazingly impressed. I have had such a huge reduction in my acne. I’m getting 90% less deep cystic acne and my skin looks healthier in the sense it seems glowy. I have been using it for nearly 5 months and didn’t start seeing an improvement until after 2 months but it has continued to improve and I feel so happy to have found these. I’ve taken time to write this review as I understand how desperate you feel to sort your skin out when it is so bad. Personally I would 100% recommend without hesitation and I would like to thank the people involved in creating the Skinclear Elixar product!! I really am grateful to have found something that is working!

I have always suffered with hormonal spots around my chin near my cycle but the past 3 years since hitting 30 my skin went WILD, it was still only my chin the rest of my face was crystal clear. It definitely got worse around ovulation and my period but it felt like I had more and more popping up every 3 days, big deep cystic spots which would take two weeks to go, my chin was covered in red pigmentation and I can’t even tell you how upset it made me feel.
I started these back in February 2025 after trying every thing known to man, expensive facials, creams and antibiotics from the doctors, a nutritionist, i changed my entire diet, but still they kept on coming.
The first month or two I felt my skin was more greasy, and I was getting a lot of little white heads nearly daily round my chin.
I was approaching month 3 and nearly gave up, my skin was still horrendous so I emailed customer service and they pleaded with me to give it another month or two as my imbalance could be more severe than others.
Well once I hit month 3, everything changed.
I had my period a matter of days leading up to month 3 of the tablets and I had my normal sore cystic spots around 3 of them.
But that was it, all the way up until my next period, I only had two spots, still quite deep painful ones but they cleared very quickly.
I’m now approaching my next period this week and all month I have had one small white head.
The difference has been insane to have clear skin for the majority of the month.
I’m nearly on my 5th bottle now and will keep going!!
Please persist past month 3 this has been my saviour!!

I have had extremely oily Tzone since my teens, throughout the day always developing a very oily looking nose and makeup never sitting very nicely.
I would also wake up with little white heads around my mouth, especially at hormonal peaks, and get them popping up throughout the day too.
Since using the skin elixr the oilyness has reduced and I rarely wake up with spots, and rarely develop little whiteheads throughout the day either. It has been well worth it for me sticking to this - and I notice an immediate difference if I stop taking for even a few days!

I was on the fence on ordering this due to it being natural and I’ve always believed stronger ingredients is what gets rid of acne however I have suffered with bad skin since I was about 10 years old and have tried multiple over-the-counter prescriptions to online medication every skincare product you can think and was about to try roccataine. But I have now been taking this since April and my skin has never looked so clear I would strongly recommend this product, it has healed my skin inside and out I now actually have glowing skin instead of it being pigmented, red and covered in red / angry spots even when I have TOM I may only get two or three spots when usually both cheeks would be full of spots and down my neck.

I’ve been taking SkinClear Elixir for 2 months now after a friend saw great results. My skin if definitely clearer before/after my period - and this is usually when it flares up quite badly. I’m excited to see how my skin continues to improve over the next few months!!!

I believe these supplements messed with my hormones in a bad way, contributing to early menopause and PMDD. My periods stopped too and once I stopped taking them other conditions completely calmed - almost immediately. You also sent me an email asking for this review but addressed it to a different person. I initially had high hopes after reading reviews, but they have made me very sceptical about taking any supplements.

I’m 2 months in to using this product and the results have been surprisingly good. I’ve had good skin until I turned 50 and then all hell broke loose!! My face and neck were covered in large painful cyst like spots that wouldn’t go away - even after go prescribed medication and a fortune spent on skin care. But after 2 months my skin is much clearer and is no longer painful - some spots still pop up but are clearing much quicker - and I’m hoping this continues to get better as I use the product longer - I’ve just purchased another 3 month supply so it just be working!!!

I love this product after trying so many medications, medical creams, face washes and so many other products that say they would work, this is the only product i have seen any change with.

I have been on the clear skin elixir now for around 2 month and my skint is amazing
I have maybe had 2 small spots appear in that time and they have gone after a day. I have also cut out using any other face products and just clean my skin with water and a flannel 2 times a day. My skin in less oily and so much brighter. I also feel so much happier in myself.
I would highly recommended this product! When ordered the delivery is quick.
The products do seem to be a little more pricey on the website compared to the local supermarket but for me if it works its worth the extra pennies!

I sent back my May delivery because I wasn’t aware making a purchase with you in April put me straight into a subscription. Why would I want a subscription if I don’t even know if the product works for my first purchase. To my surprise in May I get my second bottle that I didn’t want because my daughter couldn’t swallow the unusually big capsules from the first order. So I returned my bottle to you and I never received the full bottle refund promised. I wrote a complaint to your enquires email asking to delete my subscription and to refund my money. I received no communication, no refund no anything from you and guess what I get another bottle of Botanyl’s in June.
After a while of digging I’ve managed to delete my subscription via your website, but I’m still out of pocket for two bottles I don’t want and won’t use.

I would never sign up for a subscription unless I know the product I’ve purchased truly works. So I’m now disputing these items with my bank. I couldn’t tell you if the product works, because the capsules are so big they weren’t consumed.

As a skin clinic owner it’s incredible to have a supplement like skin elixir that I can recommend to my clients who are suffering with hormonal acne. Not only do I trust the brand and the results they give but botanycl have been great in terms of service and any questions I’ve had and always pop me in some extra bits which are great as you feel valued! I retail this in my clinic and have fabulous feedback from my acne girls and will continue to use it myself and order in bulk!

Has an ingredient changed ? Sadly skinclear elixir has stopped working on me . Have been constantly using since lockdown 2021 started in May . Has been brilliant , spread the news to all family and friends . However recently all spots and discolouration has all come back on my chin and neck . Am also using the vit D . Buy skinclear from H&B. And Vit D from you .

I've been on a journey with acne over the last year. I had clear skin then over the space of 3 days my face was covered in inflammatory acne. At the same time I was also diagnosed with breast cancer. To cut a long story short, I've been on antibiotics and using a retinol for a year, amongst other things like using blue/red light therapy and changing diet but the acne was still persisting on my cheeks and jawline. I started Botanycl because I knew my acne was hormonal and needed to reduce androgens. Ive been on it for 2.5 weeks now and my acne is finally clearing 😭. I am so so grateful! 💖

I clicked on the link and after reading the description and checking the list of ingredients, I decided to buy two jars plus one of natural vitamin D3 as well. The ordering went through smoothly and the items were quickly delivered and securely packaged. I've only just started taking the capsules so a bit early to discern any effects, but being naturally sourced the products are sure to benefit my health. Very pleased with the level of service.
