Good product, and the order was delivered promptly and was very well packaged. We did think the prices were a little on the high side, but for a decent product you have to be prepared to pay.
These pies are genuinely excellent - and that's from a fussy Yorkshireman living "down south" and missing the taste of home. I bought my Dad 2x Meat and Potato, 2x Cheese and Onion and 2x Steak Puddi... Ver mais

Absolutely my favourite pies.
My daughter lives in Munich and every year she orders a selection of pies to be delivered to Leicester for me. I look forward to their arrival as I can't get a decent pie down here. ( They've not heard of Butter pie) They always arrive chilled and never disappoint me, absolutely beautiful pies.

Cheers for the great review, Michael! Your daughter’s got great taste - sending you proper pies all the way to Leicester, where Butter Pie is but a myth. Glad we can keep you sorted with the good stuff. Here's to more Butter Pies this year!

Delivery took over 48 hours and pies…
Delivery took over 48 hours and pies were warm to touch on arrival. Bit disappointing because Bowen's pies are very good but they seem to continuously have problems with their online orders and deliveries. This is the 3rd order (out of 4) in 12 months that has either arrived a day late or hasn't even been dispatched. If their cherry pie wasn't my wife's absolute favourite then we would've given up on them already.

Resposta da Bowen Pies
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, Jordan, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced with your recent orders. We completely understand how frustrating it must be when deliveries don’t meet expectations - especially when it’s something as special as your wife’s favourite cherry pie.
We pack all of our pies in specially designed insulated boxes to keep them fresh, even during delays, but we know that doesn’t take away the disappointment of a late delivery. Unfortunately, the timing of your order coincided with peak periods where couriers are often overwhelmed, but we’re continuously working to improve our processes to prevent this from happening again.
As we mentioned when we spoke, the delay was unfortunately out of our hands, and we agreed that a full refund was the best way to resolve the situation.
Your loyalty means a lot to us, and we’re genuinely sorry this experience fell short of expectations. If you ever decide to give us another try, we’d love the opportunity to ensure everything goes perfectly.

Bowen Pies
Delivery delayed beyond anything like…
Delivery delayed beyond anything like acceptable
Bowens refused to offer me a replacement free of charge bearing in mind the products only have 5 days shelf life - it would have taken at last 7 !!!
Poor customer service
Won’t buy again from them

Resposta da Bowen Pies
Hi Andrew,
We’re really sorry to hear you feel this way. As your order was placed during the Black Friday period, couriers were handling an unusually high volume of deliveries, which unfortunately caused delays beyond our control.
Customer safety is always our top priority, and as our pies are perishable, we couldn’t risk them being consumed after such a delay. This was as disappointing for us as it was for you, as we never want to let our customers down.
To address the issue, we reached out with an apology and offered a replacement along with a 25% refund or a full refund option. Unfortunately, as a small family business, we couldn’t meet your expectations of a full refund, a free resend of your pie order plus additional cash compensation. Of course, we have given your full refund straight away upon decline of our original offer.
While we completely understand your frustration, we believe we handled the situation with sincerity and tried to resolve it in the best way possible.
We’re sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations on this occasion, and we wish you all the best.
Lana,
Bowen Pies

Been to Bowen pies for the first time…
Been to Bowen pies for the first time today. I’m a Wiganer so I’m a pie connoisseur. I had an award winning steak pie and a pork pie. They are very good pies, best I’ve had. Pastry was very good and the meat was the highest quality. You can pick them up and eat them with out the risk of falling apart. I recommend to everyone.

Absolutely Delicious
First time ordering from Bowen Pies. Will certainly not be my last order from them. The pies are delicious and actually contain chunks of meat unlike the standard supermarket pies!!
Will also be recommending Bowen Pies to my family and friends.
