Christmas delivery due 22 Dec (so in good time for Christmas) not delivered. Delay was caused by DPD but Boxxfresh are still responsible for arrangements with their 3rd party suppliers. Rather than deliver late, DPD destroyed the boxes of vegetables. No communication until a complaint made. Boxxfresh should have made it clear to DPD that boxes should still have been delivered, this is bad management of 3rd parties by Boxxfresh and totally inexcusable poor account management.

I have been a Boxxfresh customer for two years now, finding them during lockdown whilst looking for a local, ethical home delivery company. I feel very lucky that Boxxfresh is local to me, as is much of the produce in my box. I have not been disappointed and order regularly now. I really enjoy choosing from all the products on offer on the easy to use website, all plant based, and then delivery day is like Christmas unpacking a sturdy box full of delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, with no unnecessary packaging. I love having to eat with the seasons. Everything has always been top quality and lasts well. However it is the personal feel to this company which sets it apart and makes you feel like a valued customer, they call if there is a problem (very rare), no unexpected substitutions here. Kelly pops up on social media to say hi and share tips and recipes which all feel “do-able”. I have also bought several different cook the recipe boxes and find this is cost and waste saving buying only what you need. Boxxfresh has definitely helped us achieve our goal of eating more plants.

Love this small family business, always good quality always reliable, no complaints hear. Very happy customer.

I found Boxxfresh in the first Lockdown and have remained with them since. The produce is excellent quality and is environmentally packed in a very sturdy box. The website is very well-designed and clear to follow. There is rarely a problem with sourcing produce as the website is regularly kept up to date but when anything is out of stock (or the owner feels its not up to their standard), I get a personal phone call to arrange a refund or to get the item added to the next order. I once witnessed rough treatment of my order from the delivery driver, so I called the courier company directly to report it. Only moments later I had a call from Boxxfresh apologising, saying she was resolving the issue for me. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been a Boxxfresh customer (on and off) for two years and even though I occasionally try a different company for diversity - I always return. Seasonal veg is excellent and it is all UK grown - so no imports. The packing of the produce is also brilliant and the actual box for DPD delivery very strong - so nothing gets damaged in transit. Fully recommend this company.

I wasn't keen on the packaging with my first box but the vegetables are beautiful. This is my second box just and I'm delighted to say that the packaging is a million times better. I love how the rocket and spinach are in proper sealed bags. I'm extremely happy so will buy again soon.

I've been meaning to create a review for some time now, as I'm a pretty regular customer. Finding Boxxfresh has been one of the positive outcomes of these past couple of years, originally driven by convenience and a desire not to visit a supermarket. Now it is so much more - supporting a local business, less plastic waste, great fruit and veg. I also love the recipes which provide much needed inspiration and we are eating better as a result. Thanks to you all for providing such a great service

I haven't shopped with Boxxfresh for quite a while as I've been buying my produce from 'A Supermarket!' I have never seen so much plastic in my life! even 1 banana! A lot of supermarket wrappers can't be re-cycled??? This making that item far more expensive! A lot of the items at Boxxfresh are wrapped up in lovely paper bags and the fruit so veg are loose in the boxes allowing them to breathe. What would you rather have - a tomato 🍅 that smells of plastic or one that smells lovely and fresh on the vine? There's no waste with Boxxfresh, the box is recycled that's what I love 💘 about it I'm putting my new order in next week, I'm even going to try the recipes. I LOVE the sweet potato bread 🍞, it's gorgeous!.

Very nice vegetables and the best sweet potato sour dough bread - really delicious and very filling - my favourite product . Highly recommend

Been a Boxxfresh customer for a few months now and I cannot fault their service! Great produce that lasts a good amount of time and is much tastier than supermarket. I also appreciate their no plastic and no air transit policy. Delivery is always prompt and I've never had any issues with bruised or damaged produce.

First box received yesterday and extremely pleased. Much better than other box delivery services I’ve used, love the packaging (or lack of) and the fact you choose the box contents. Will be enjoying using this company in the future! Highly recommend.

Hi I recently qualified from being a student nurse and as a student it was financially difficult to be able to afford weekly deliveries. So I committed to once a month and loved every delivery. The quality of vegetables and fruit was outstanding, and they last a lot longer than most supermarket brands. Cant wait for my delivery next week

Tried a few different veg box companies - but the quality from these guys is second to none. I appreciate being able to select what I want from their seasonal range. Always comes safely packaged in the box and with no plastic! All in all good value and delivery by DPD - the best delivery company, in my opinion.

I wrote a very honest opinion of the owner of this company a few weeks ago; a rude, arrogant woman, who is clearly so ashamed of her behaviour that she has asked TrustPilot to ask me to remove her name from this review. I had quite a laughable reply to my last review, saying that she has contacted the police because apparently I threatened her and was abusive. No such thing happened and I wait with bated breath for the police to contact me.

I have since, contacted similar authorities for advice over legal action against false accusations, libel and deformation of character.

What a strange, ludicrous woman. If you have any sense buy your veg elsewhere. It is cheaper, fresher and when constructive criticism is given they don't become aggressive or rude. This woman is truly vile.

Great selection of locally sourced seasonal fruit & veg. Great to be able to pick items. Great website with recipes.

Why advertise a £17 for 10 item box with a min £25 spend?? A fair minimum spend delivery charge is ok, not spending £8 on things I don’t need. I was about to buy, now you’ve lost a customer.

Receiving my box each week is such a treat...they really have thought through all the details, including the best quality veg. It’s surprisingly economical too. I love it thank you Boxxfresh crew!

I have been a very happy weekly customer with Boxxfresh since 2016. The veg and fruit have always been exceptional in freshness, quality, and value. I was delighted when they started selling other organic ethically produced groceries. They are improving their service all the time, I also love the recipes included in the box each week! On the odd occasion something has been missed or damaged (2 times in 4 years) I have emailed and received great support from Kelly and the team. I give them ten out of ten!

I've never had fresher veg in my life. And the packaging is great! All the veg kept safe. I would much prefer to receive veg in brown paper bags rather than plastic netting (suggested in another review).

We love receiving our box of veg from boxxfresh, it really takes all the faff out of our supermarket shop. The products are always fresh and well presented. We love the meal ideas too. I would love to see a gift box option to gift friends at Christmas.

A fantastic company with a friendly and earth conscious ethos. It fills me with joy every time I receive my weekly order, such wonderful produce and a great selection of grocery products too. The product quality is really second to none and any problems I have had have been swiftly resolved by the super helpful customer services team.
