Poor service and poor customer service

I ordered an in stock item online. I later received an email to say it was out of stock. They asked me to contact them if I had any queries.

4 emails were left unreturned. I asked for my express delivery to be refunded as it was not in stock it was now not urgent. My delivery fee was part refunded. Considering the way in which their system failed and how their response to customers' needs was so poor I expected more. But perhaps it's because I've dealt with better companies

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with the stock on our website and our service was not to a high standard that we always strive to give to our customers.

We do make regular updates on our website with stock and product information to try and keep it as accurate as possible however, unfortunately, we realise there may be an odd occasion where this fails and a stock discrepancy happens.

My sincere apologies that there was a breakdown in communication, We always aim to give excellent customer service so we will definitely look into this and make changes where possible to prevent this from happening again.

Brilliant support

Lee at BPS always offers brilliant support. Within minutes of writing an email with an enquiry, he picked up the phone and chatted it through with me. Great advice, kit knowledge, speed and positivity! What more could you want? Thanks Lee!

Don't have stock but take your money!

I just purchased a Lens on this website to then realize they are advertising items and selling (i paid) for things they don't have in stock nor they are aware they actually can get from manufacturer... The item i purchased is discountinued since a while and i genuinly thought they had some in stock left are they are selling it and on the website is says 2-4 weeks delivery NOT that this might not be available!

I contacted them via chat as its a lot of money and i was a bit worried. They were awfully rude and cancelled my oder without even asking me or offering apologies or solution!

Never in my life i encounter such a bad behavior from a company.

Be aware that you might purchase items they don't have!

completely untrustworthy company. Don't buy from them there are plenty of other reseller out ther, avoid this one!

I am sorry to hear there was an issue with your recent order. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to stock every item but offer an extended range of products that can be ordered. This gives our customers the choice to find the products that most suits their requirements, which in most cases we find our customers like, and we do advertise the delivery estimation if a product is not in stock.

As you mentioned we did have a lead time on the product of 2-4 weeks which ordinarily would be the case if the product was still current, we do have constant contact with manufacturers however as I am sure you will appreciate we deal with a vast amount of manufacturers and have in excess of over 12,000 products on our website. We do strive to make sure products are up to date and there are no discontinued products on our website however on the odd occasion a product may slip through the net.

My sincere apologies for the issues that you have experienced and that you were able to place an order for an item that was discontinued. I have checked and can see that you have been refunded for the order and I have spoken to the website team to make sure that this item has been removed to prevent this from happening again.

Out of stock items.

Very wrong to let people order and pay for things that you know are not in stock. Too many companies doing this and it pisses me off.
Order No #68529. If you don't flag an item as being out of stock on your website then it is immoral to ask for payment for the item knowing it is out of stock. Most decent companies would indicate the item is out of stock and let you order it, but wouldn't take your money until the item was in stock. To take the money for out of stock items is, to my mind, a form of theft. Especially if there is no indication, after the order has been paid for, when the item is expected to be in stock. I want my money back.

We do advertise when a product is in stock and we also try and provide an estimation of when a product would be due if it is not in stock, however, we do have in excess over 12,000 products on the website, so my apologies if there was no indication on the product you have ordered. I have checked your order and I can see it is on order with the manufacturer but appreciate you have requested a refund on your order in your review. I will ask our accounts to get this processed for you.
