The product itself is good and very good value for money for the hire.
What was let down was the delivery/collection service.
Poor communication. The driver was there before I received the text giving me time of delivery.
The collection date was changed at last minute without information.
Apparently it's all in contract but no good when not on site all the time.
I will use the company again but I will definitely collect and return myself

Quick, easy and efficient!! The while process if booking and collection was simple and straight forward. The staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately I had a poor experience renting a floor sander and orbital sander for a bank holiday weekend. For some reason it was difficult to use the website, I selected the products I wanted to hire but couldn’t get to the “checkout” page - it took several attempts before I was able to place the order.

The staff at the hire station were friendly but unfortunately the floor sander stopped working after only half a day of sanding. It developed an electrical fault and kept tripping the RCB. I tried raising the issue on the website but got no response. When I tried to follow up the “ticket” had been closed.

As a result I was only able to sand one of three floors and most of that was on my hands and knees with the orbital edge sander. When I returned the products I was expecting a refund for the time I was unable to use the floor sander. I got a small refund, which I think was for the unused sanding belts, but so far nothing like an apology.

Tim and the team at Avonmouth supported me with a recent festival, they were great, very responsive, very accommodating, kept me updated at every point. their equipment was immaculate. I cant recommend Tim and his team enough

Hired a compactor which was easy to pick up , easy to use and staff on collection and drop fine
However returned the kit full of fuel but still got charged for the fuel . Chased the depot who said it was a mistake . Then had to ring head office to get a refund .
Lot of hassle
Moral of the story get the check in paper work agreed before leaving
