Lads were great very helpful but the saw blade was blunt, I didn’t use till the Saturday and would of taken it bzz as cj for exchange but your not open so had to make do

Awful customer service. Rude in store and more interested in being on his phone when wanted to return items. Head office don’t answer emails but send out threatening ‘automated’ emails

Overall good experience, still waiting for a refund of the difference in what I paid and my final bill. No communication saying it will be given back. Not ordered through local branch but online. Local branch courteous and helpful.

As a sole trader I don't have a big turnover and don't hire masses of high end equipment so when I turn up to hire a set of ladders or a mixer I usually get the feeling I am an inconvenience to the staff

Poor service and ...
We hired 3 items including a drill on two separate invoices.
I was served by Gavin on the counter seemed a reasonable person at first.
I was aware that deposits would be credited back to the users card within 3-5 working days after items had been checked in , if found in the correct state that the item was lent to which was fine.
When we hired the drill Gavin showed me next to the window of the shop on the ledge that the case was in very used state and there was minor scuff marks on the carry case.
We handed in all 3 products on the 4th July they were collected promptly. we waited 7 days still nothing no phone call or contact from them or anyone at the branch.
I then went back to the shop on the 8th day where they couldn't find any paperwork and asked me to dig mine out eventually they did, asked me who a random female name was that was attached to the invoice slip no idea very confused at this point even he was unsure.
Gavin then declared that I would not receive my deposit on the drill back as the box had been damaged I don't believe this had been damaged by us and was used minorly for one xay but no big deal if that's how he chooses to work. No contact was made for this.
Then I had to ring head office as he didn't really know why I hadn't recieved my deposit for the other items for £100. Spoke to great lady in the finance department who advised me the payment had only been handled yesterday so should expect payment in next 3working days which was fine not sure why weston branch had left this so long.
Weston branch never contacted me regarding any of this and where quite happy to keep the deposit without providing any information why or explanation. The response from Gavin was "I thought you knew you had broken the case which is why I didn't bother contacting you"
Really poor customer service maybe training or induction could be given or refreshment course?
Not worried about the money just there customer service beware
Part from that the items we used were great arrived promptly.

They had the equipment that I needed, available for the weekend, at a good price. Collection was straightforward, used a forklift to load chipper onto my trailer, everybody was professional and polite. Return was equally quick and simple, but they seemed shocked that I had unloaded and reloaded it to the trailer rather than running it on there. Took some ingenuity, but I had to, trailer couldn't fit through garden gate!
