Steer Clear of Sans as a company

I purchased a sans air purifier unit. It arrived faulty. They replied to my email very quickly saying they were very sorry and not to worry they will send out a replacement and to dispose of the old unit. After two weeks of chasing they siad it was with Evri courriers, everytime I checked tracking on the Evri website there was no tracking information. I reached back to Sans and they assured me it was on the way and to be patient, nearly three weeks later still no news, so I chased again, same response. I then requested they gave me a refund which they said they couldnt do as the product was with the courrier, nearly 7 weeks later, I still have no machine and they wont respond to my emails. I have had to apply to my credit card company to get my money back. Terrible company, coupled with a very avaerage, massively overpriced product, there are way better units on the market at significnatly better prices.

Don’t purchase

I placed an order December 12 and hadn’t received it or any notification by Christmas. Shortly after Christmas, one of the two purifiers arrived. No news about the second one. I have repeatedly tried contacting customer service and it is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I still haven’t received the second one nor will I accept it when UPS delivers it - if it actually arrives. Honeywell makes an equally good product and that’s what I will be buying. If the company is this difficult to work with before I even open my products what will happen when I have a real issue. I have never dealt with anything so frustrating before. This is extremely poor Customer Service and I would never recommend this product to anybody because of that.

I bought 2 minis and my husband was…

I bought 2 minis and my husband was always congested and these have helped so much! The air you can tell is clean and fresh!!! We also have the other mini in our Parrots room they produce a lot of dander and it has been a lifesaver fresh air love these

poor customer service…

I purchased 2 Sans air purifiers 19 months ago and they seem to work as advertised, however just recently the digital display on one of the units stopped working correctly. I contacted Sans and they said, "Thanks for providing this image. After extended use, the screen will adjust the lighting to preserve the bulbs. This should even itself out completely over a short while."

Well they couldn't tell me how long the short while will be so I'm questioning their response and asking to escalate the complaint to a manager and I'm getting the runaround. This is all through email as you can't contact them by phone, at least I can't find a number on their website.

I also communicated with (co-founder Sans) on Reddit. He asked if I used the chat feature on the website and I said yes, but the only person available was the same person I had sent 4 or 5 emails to and was getting nowhere, so I didn’t bother.

2 small sans & one large sans

I wrote one review, they deleted it. I bought a small Sans for my bedroom because I have multiple medical issues. I then bought another one for an elderly man that I am caregiver to, THEN I bought a big unit for the kitchen and living room area. You advertised that the units would eliminate the dust issue in the house. It did not. The dust seems to be worse like it is just floating it around. Fraudulent advertising should be punishable with a huge fine! I've had all three now for at least 3 months. Your review tips says you want feedback and when I put my honest review, you deleted it, which is what I am sure you will do with this one.

I signed up for their auto filter…

I signed up for their auto filter replacement program because I live near a landfill having a chemical reaction, so this was very important and not a one-and-done. They notified me last month it was time but then nothing showed up. Come to find out they were on back-order. I had to research it. They NEVER notified me and my machine turned to a red signal notifying me it was time. Finally, they came in and it was shipped. I live in the same state and even the same area of the state of this business (southern CA) and now I am looking at day 6 and the filter is still NOT here. I have contacted them a few times now to find out they will NEVER let you speak to a human. All communication must be done online. No phone service. Now I discovered that they have handed off the delivery to UPS which notes they can't deliver because they need a code for a gate. I have NO gates and neither does my neighborhood. So, I contacted Sans and they told me to contact UPS. I am NOT UPS's customer I am Sans customer. I still don't have the filter and I have now cancelled the program with Sans which was not easy either. The program only has a skip delivery option, not a cancel. You have to contact their online customer service yet again. I have no proof they actually canceled it. Do yourself a favor and pick a different company. My time is more valuable than this bull. Zero for customer service. The product is okay but not quiet at all if you need to run it on high which we do need to do.

Buyer Beware

This is not True Sans, would you like to see a copy of the transcript conversation? I still have it. I replied back within minutes with the recording, which showed the problem in both machines. John didn't address the first issue at all. Of the second SANS unit issue, he only said not to worry as the warning light would probably come on in a few days to a week. When I pointed out I had changed the filters once before and reset both lights at the same time. So they both should have come on together or at least a week apart, that's when SANS stopped talking. Oh SANS don't you wanna talk anymore 😂

I purchased three units and they work decently. Not as great as they claim but it definitely helped with my allergies to an extent. Then I started experiencing minor problems with two of my units. When I brought the problem to the companies attention, the company line was, "This has never happened before." When I pointed out there is always a first they stopped talking. Decent product Really bad customer service. The reason you don't hear the negative is bc they block all bad press.

I've left an earlier review and as an additional piece of information, buyers need to be aware that they need to save the box and all packaging if they want to return the Sans for a refund. I was confident after reading so many glowing reviews and I didn't save the packaging. I'm out of luck. Additionally, the company has deleted my Facebook review. I'm very suspicious of the 5 Star reviews on their site.

It is quiet and energy efficient

It is quiet and energy efficient. There is no noticible rise in my electric bill. I keep it on auto, 24/7, and that is perfect for me. I have allergies and the sneezing is significantly reduced from several times a day to just two or three. Living in a split level home had me questioning if it would work well, but it fulfills it's duty to clean the air. Love it!

Nice, quiet unit

I have not had the product long but so far I like it. It’s incredibly quiet and I believe I notice a difference in the air quality. I like the variable fan speed and auto options. I did not rate 5 stars because I am disappointed that I can not replace the UV-C bulb. From my understanding, UV-C is only effective for a limited number of hours. I was told by their customer service that the bulb would last 7 years. Is that 7 years of continuous use? How many hours before the efficacy wanes?
