Ordered the Rachel sandals on instagram. They came almost 3 weeks later. What a big disappointment. Doesn’t look anything like on instagram. No return address. Extremely cheap and nasty. Just a big scam. They claim to be British. Total lie. They’re not even registered on HMRC website companies house. Avoid this company. They’re a bunch of liars and scammers. Supposed to be sent by Royal Mail. It was delivered by yodel. Please report to instagram to stop them advertising.

These shoes are disgraceful - they are not leather and they smell of some sort of disgusting plastic. I will attempt to get a refund but don't expect to get one. I will put them in the bin. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THIS COMPANY.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Poorly fitting, poorly made shoes. Not real leather. Appalling quality. Even more appalling customer service. Require photos of the item being returned and then stop replying to emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Absolutely rubbish product. Cheap nasty plastic shoes arrived. Not the quality leather product I ordered. Didn’t even send out the correct size ordered 39 got sent a 38. Don’t buy anything from this site be warned

Do not spend your hard earned cash with this operation. They are Chinese opportunists scamming people. The goods are of a poor quality and not at all representative of their advertisements. They are based in China and not the UK Company which they falsely lead you to believe. I realised too late and received plastic cheaply made sandals. Their email responses are all avoidance refusing to directly answer anything relating to a refund. Save your money and don't fall into this con trap!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered the Rachel orthopedic sandals. They are poorly made, not orthopedic, not leather. I was also sent the wrong size. Paid £34.99 for a pair of sandals that would probably not even make a shop ot market stall.

When I enquired about a refund I was given an address in China with the advice to send tracked as often packages go missing. They also said this would probably cost more that I paid and offered a 15% refund.

Big lesson learnt for not doing my research before buying from the Internet.

Scam company, Do not use. Boots arrived and looked nothing like the photo, really cheap and plasticky, unwearable. Return advice was to pay to send back to China, or pay them a further £18 and I could then choose a dress of something instead. Utter scam artists. Ultimately, I’m left with a £40 pair of unwearable boots. Disgraceful.

This company is a scam, do not order from it. It's some kind of dropshipping operation. They have no physical store, the whole backstory on the website is a lie. It's reselling cheap tat from AliExpress. I bought the 'leather' sandals after seeing an Instagram Ad and thinking the website looked decent and legit. They took weeks to turn up and are the wrong size and are clearly cheap plastic tat. The company sends loads of spammy emails insisting it's honest and trustworthy, but it's all nonsense. They are predictably being shady about refunds and saying it has to be sent back to China at my expense. Avoid!

Horrendous! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I bought a blouse which was supposed to be made of soft cotton and when it arrived it was cheap polyester. Have been chasing and chasing for a refund but no-one bothers to come back to me! How are they still trading in the UK?!!

I purchased a pair of Rachel shoes from Bristol Threads, and the item was poorly made and not as described. After several emails back and forth requesting a refund, they finally responded—but only to say I would need to return the item to China despite their website suggesting a straightforward refund process.

Here’s what they said:

*“We can assist you with a return, however, it would have to come to our returns centre in China. As per our return policy, please return your items to the address below:

They then tried to fob me off with a 15% refund offer and let me “keep” the item—which is useless—claiming it would save me more than sending it back. This is not how legitimate businesses operate.

Luckily, I disputed the transaction with my bank and have been refunded that way. Do not waste your time or money on this company. It’s misleading, and the return process is deliberately obstructive.

Awful quality, sent wrong size and keep asking me for photos, can’t simply send back as advertised. I’ve had two emails saying exactly same thing about sending further details. Wrong size , they won’t even acknowledge it!! And not leather !

Another dissatisfied customer!! plastic Sandals advertised as leather that actually stink! “Hassle free returns”…lol.
I hope everyone reports them to trading standards so they can’t trade in the uk anymore. What a con!

UNHAPPY!!!! I ordered the Rachel Leather Sandals over 2 weeks ago and recently received a plastic pair of sandals. If I could give this company a zero I would. They are in breach of trading standards in the UK. Do not believe any reviews that say they received a great pair of sandals. When I complained I was told I can return them to china or get 15% return! Do NOT order these sandals or anything else from this company.

I ordered leather ankle boots.
The item arrived weeks later from china. Not leather and not even resembling the item I ordered. They rarely reply to emails.
You have to return the item to china in order to get a refund which they know will cost more than the item itself so they offer you a pathetic 15% refund. They are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with and they should be fined and banned for the lies they tell you. It is absolutely disgusting.

My order was never delivered though the courier said it had been. It is now over 3 weeks and I have requested a refund as I had to buy a replacement elsewhere. Bristol Threads are refusing to refund me and keep fobbing me off asking me to wait even longer in case it turns up?!!! Yesterday they implied it may not even have been dispatched yet??? Terrible service. Do not buy from them! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

The only thing I feel reassured by is the fact that others have fallen for this scam company too. DO NOT BUY! Shoes a plastic and not what was advertised. Also sent the wrong size. I’ve learnt my lesson.

Ordered the Rachel Orthopaedic sandals in a size 6, they took 2 weeks to come and they are awful! They smell disgusting, sent me a size 5 instead of a 6, and they are plastic. I am fuming! Can’t seem to get a refund, so I’ve wasted £35!
Supposedly a family run company in Bristol, this is a lie! The shoes are obviously from China. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Absolutely fed up with this company. I have sent numerous e mails to return two blouses. As yet I’ve only received e mails asking for photos of blouses which are being returned. As they are too small what good is a photo?
