The rides are fine, but overpriced

The rides are fine, except that many of the major rides are closed.
The price situation is absurd - you should pay $158 for the cheapest ticket, $38 for the parking, and $13 for a locker every 2 hours in the park, and fines if you keep your stuff for more than 2 hours. Even if you pay for the lockers, they are not responsible for your staff's safety, and their personnel don't know how to use them.
I can't give more than 2 stars, considering you pay more than $200 to enter the park, where many rides aren't working.

The worst theme park in Florida no…

The worst theme park in Florida no doubt

We had the worst experience ever at bush gardens, we travelled from Orlando on the bus, and we were hoping to have a really nice day, however we couldn’t of been more in the wrong.

Let me start by saying the rides are good when they are working, but most of them were off! In 10 hours at the park we managed to do 2 rides, because the rest were delayed, and when they finally opened, the lines were so long, the amount of staff around the rides were totally unacceptable, I felt like I managed my own safety on the 2 rides I actually rode! The staff are so rude as well x I had 3 different encounters with disrespectful staff, all seemed not to care in the slightest, and I put this down to bush gardens training!

The next thing I would like to state is the food is so bad! They try convince you your gettin a good deal on the all day dining, but the food stations are so irregular and the quality of the food is the worst I’ve ever eaten in Florida, nasty cold processed garbage at extortionate prices, a bottle of Powerade was over €8 and a coffee the same! The dining option is priced at $60 pp!!!!!!

We decided to take a full day out of Orlando to come here, especially when I had such good memories here as a child, but this place has completely gone to pot! Nobody cares anymore!

Rides are always down

Staff are rude

Food is so bad

Everything is a ploy to take as much money as possible, including charging you for lockers! $15 for 2 hours!!!! It’s absolutely disgusting in my opinion!

I thought sea world had gone down hill , but this place has taken it to a new level, never ever again will I return here!

I would also like to add the rides I got on I managed my own safety!!!! Do not come here anymore it’s sad to say, but I don’t think it’s safe

Dangerous staff operations, unhelpful and unfriendly experience

Staff slapping and hitting each other in line for Iron Gwazi.
Staff on their phones.
Nothing to do during rain - we stood in a queue for 2 hours.

Complete waste of money.

No money back, just a ticket for a year - pointless if you don't live nearby.

I'd stay as clear as possible and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

Food and drink prices are extortionate.

Park looks run down and poorly maintained.

Busch gardens DISAPPOINTMENT

Staff are so overworked cos there isn't enough of them, toilets are dirty and line for food is an utter discrace also again because of lack of staff, couldn't believe it when I was told that the cost YES COST of the skyride was $5. again because of lack of staff we and plenty of others had to wait over a hour to get a RAP which is just unacceptable.

Busch Gardens…unfortunately….NEVER AGAIN!

Busch Gardens…unfortunately….NEVER AGAIN!

Since 1990 I have been visiting Busch Gardens but recently my visits have been very disappointing.

I have just spent over 90 minutes on the gridlocked I4 travelling from Kissimmee. I arrived 30 minutes before the park opened to find a line for the car park almost 2 miles long. I queued patiently but in very dangerous circumstances because drivers which were impatient to wait jumped the line cutting in and even going through red traffic lights. I was astounded to see 6 adults sitting in the back seats of one car. It took an hour to get through the car park booths. Unfortunately, they left two booths closed and coned off which were in my lane causing even further delay. I went for Preferred parking which is $60. That was another disaster as my space was a 10 minute walk to the park entrance. If I had paid the $40 regular parking there was a tram from the car directly to the entrance.

The park entrance was bedlam. There were dozens of coaches transporting probably 1000+ schoolchildren which were allowed to park by the entrance. These children were now ahead of those having to use the car park. It took a further 20 minutes to get passed security and the park entrance. It was now 50 minutes after the park opened. Busch strategy means they keep half the park closed until an hour after opening, therefore only a couple of rides were open. I headed to the Iron Gwazi. The wait time was now 60 minutes! The park app said 5 minutes! The ride wait times on the app are totally inaccurate all day. The rides that were closed according to the app were open! I waited whilst they sent two cars completely empty. There was no announcement to say what was going on. I gave up waiting.

The log flume and Kumba was closed for the day. The Kumba track was rusty so has probably been closed for some time. Other attractions were closed. Falcons Fury was closed most of the day. There is no advance warning about what is working at the park. After 5 hours all I had done was Sheikra, (only one coaster operating), Congo River Rapids, (only one person slowly loading and dispatching the rafts), the train and the Ice Show. By now the lines were over an hour for every ride. Cheetah Hunt was over two hours. The park looks run down. Urinals in two gents toilets were all overflowing. I gave up and made my way home.

You are not allowed to take any food or drink into the park. The prices inside are eyewatering. Over $6 for a small plastic bottle of water.
The line at guest services was huge. Ten minutes walk to my $60 parking space…..and over 2 hours drive back to Kissimmee on the grid locked I4.

The few staff there are untrained and look bored stiff. The schoolchildren were regularly jumping the lines ‘to join their friends’ but no one did anything to stop them. No sign of any management in the park. At the very least they need mystery shoppers to see what is going on. On my arrival at a Theme Park I should be excited. If I had not travelled so far I would have returned home before entering the park. Unfortunately, there is no magic at Busch Gardens or Seaworld any longer.

On a previous visit I sent an email to Busch Gardens pointing out some issues. They never even bothered to respond.

BUSCH GARDENS AVOID THIS TIRED AND WORN OUT PARK…

We recently visited Busch gardens Florida if I can give any body advice it would be to save your money and avoid this place, most of the main rides were closed as was the shows and restaurants, we complained to the operators but they were not interested, a very tired and worn out park needs closing down now, universal or Disney all the way.

Disappointing Experience at Busch Gardens

Disappointing Experience at Busch Gardens

I recently visited Busch Gardens while on holiday in America, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. One of the first things I noticed was that several rides and attractions were closed, which limited options and made the park feel half-open. Additionally, the park itself seemed dated, lacking the fresh, lively atmosphere you would expect from a major attraction.

I was also concerned about the welfare of the wild cats. They were kept in a small enclosure with roller coasters thundering overhead, which felt stressful and unfair to the animals. The state of the facilities didn’t help, as the toilets were dirty and poorly maintained.

Lunch was another letdown. We chose the Mexican restaurant in the Dragon Fire Grill, but there was no rice or plant-based options available, which was very disappointing. We ended up with Chinese food, which was undercooked, extremely salty, and served by staff who seemed irritated and unhelpful.

Overall, I had hoped for a more enjoyable experience, but with the limited attractions, poor animal enclosures, and disappointing food and service, it fell short. I would recommend exploring other parks or attractions if you’re looking for a memorable and well-maintained experience.

The "quick queue" system in use is…

The "quick queue" system in use is unusually deceptive. Prices on the website all have a tiny asterisk (as usual) but were more than double what was advertised which we only found out when we were actually buying tickets and well on our way.

"Quick queue unlimited" is billed as a premium, top-tier one that lets you past all lines as much as you please, but is invalid on at least three main roller coasters and a lot more besides. Little did we know you have to buy "Quick queue unlimited PLUS" (our mistake, of course) and even if we wished to it's impossible to switch once you realize the trap.
