It's very good deal and service

I’ve used buymaterials.com 4 times in recent months.
Always delivered on time and materials are good quality.

So pleased we've found this website and service, to enable us to source all manner of Building products at the lowest prices, supplied and delivered to Site.

Very helpful and responsive

As a self-builder using Buymaterials.com, I think there’s a real gap in the service when it comes to smaller orders.

When you’re building a complete house yourself, you obviously need a huge amount of materials overall. But you don’t necessarily need everything at the same time. The build progresses in stages, and you often find yourself needing a relatively small quantity of a particular material.

The problem is that Buymaterials.com isn’t really set up for those smaller orders. That can leave self-builders in a difficult position. You might be building an entire house and ultimately spending a significant amount on materials, but at a particular stage you may only need a small quantity of something.

It would be great if there was an option to place smaller orders, even if there was a minimum order value or a slightly higher delivery charge to make it viable.

For a self-builder, being able to order both larger quantities and smaller top-up orders from the same place would make the service much more useful throughout the whole build.

It’s a good concept, but I think smaller-order capability would make a big difference for people building their own homes.

Great site—simple to use and particularly helpful when pricing building materials.

The true test of any company isn’t how they handle things when everything goes right, but how they respond when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the order fulfillment and I received UC3 sleepers instead of the UC4s I’d ordered. However, the refund for the incorrect items was completely straightforward and processed without any fuss.

I’d definitely recommend this site and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
