Sometimes the calls are clear and sometimes not. Topping up mobile is easy but CallingCards foreign exchange rate is well below the current rates and they still charge a transaction fee.

Mobile Recharge is not a currency exchange service, it is a transfer of goods. This means it abides by other conventions and partnerships. The processing fee we have on our website is established according to agreements we have with providers in different parts of the world and they reflect multiple international payments.
That's why the Mobile Recharge service we provide does not guarantee the normal rate you receive for money exchange (with your local financial institution for example). For full transparency, you are always informed of the full cost of the Mobile Recharge on the checkout page before proceeding with payment.

Transparency in Delivery of Service is Important.
What I really appreciate about services and sites like this is that the transactions are entirely transparent. Normally, when I find out there are sneaky fees or gotcha expirations, I cancel the contract or subscription and find someone who doesn't. MobileCaller/CallingCards.com hasn't done anything like that yet and I doubt it ever will. Also, the quality of the product is really good. I have never had any problems with call fidelity. It can be a little tricky getting the PIN number in fast enough on a smartphone; sometimes the dial-to number takes too long to enter as well.

My cell phone was recharged much less that what I already paid.
I paid US$ 8.50 (+ processing fees) to recharge my cell phone in Egypt. This is equal to EGP 263.00 (official Central Bank Exchange Rate in Egypt). It's even much higher than that outside the bank system.
For my surprise, the only amount received by Vodafone (my cell company in Egypt) was ONLY EGP 140.00!! ... What is that?!!
I'm sure the huge difference was NOT the processing fee, because I paid the processing fee in addition to the US$ 8.50. So, where is the rest of the money?!!.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. It's true we don't offer any warnings that you're going to run out of credit, but we do have a solution for you. You can always use Auto Recharge and whenever your balance falls below $5 we will automatically add credit to your account. You can activate the feature from your online account.

We love CallingCards as it connects us…
We love CallingCards as it connects us well with our office in China. However, we seem to repeatedly be told that we are "out of minutes" even though we switched to the "World Unlimited" plan which auto-renews $10 at a time.

Not worth it
Used this company since 2016 with no issues, and in the past few months they have gone downhill to the point I had to cancel the plan. Customer service is useless, cant make international calls and they have not been very helpful. Its now more trouble than its worth and cant count on if the calls will even work?

Prefer to have the billing on a set day
I'd prefer to have the billing on set days of the month, like the 5th, 10th, 20th, etc so I can set up automatic payments or at least be able to remember when a payment is due. Every 30 days just doesn't work for me. After a few months it's a completely different date!

As the Plan subscription includes 30-day billing, you will not be charged every month on the same specific day.
This is not possible because it depends on the number of days included in the current month.
However, you can always check your next billing date on your Dashboard after logging in.
If you want to be notified 48 hours before your next billing date, all you have to do is to activate the option from your online account.
