I recently experienced a major product failure with a pair of shoes purchased from Spring. Unfortunately, this comment platform is preventing me from attaching photos to illustrate the severity and extent of the damage. For context, however, I had stored the shoes safely in their box with the original tags still attached, and this was the very first time I wore them.

Shortly after putting them on for a routine drive—just about five minutes into the trip—I noticed an unusual feel and immediately pulled over to inspect them. To my surprise, both shoes had come completely apart at the sole including the heels.

When I contacted customer service to explain that an essentially brand-new, unworn item had suffered a total structural failure after the warranty period, I was offered a 25% non-combinable discount on a future purchase. Given the circumstances, I felt this resolution was insufficient and chose not to accept it.

I am sharing my experience strictly to inform fellow consumers about product durability and customer care handling so others can make informed purchasing decisions.

Considering their price range and the fact that they’re 100% vegan, Call It Spring can’t be beat. They have great end of season sales, I’m always impressed with how on trend and affordable this brand is. Also, they offer fast and free shipping if you order your items to a store, so definitely take advantage of that if you have a location near you! In my experience, employees encourage you to try on the shoes in-store after picking up an online order, so if they don’t fit or look like you wanted they’ll process an exchange/return on the spot.

In terms of their other products, Spring handbags are similar to the simpler ones from their big sister brand ALDO, and their heel/sandal cushion inserts are super comfortable. This brand is ideal for budget conscious people who want a large variety of shoes. I’ve had heels from Spring for almost two years now, and they’re still in great condition thanks to sparing use.

I am very disappointed with my experience at the Call It Spring store.

I bought these sandals less than a week ago and wore them only twice. After just two wears, the upper started separating from the sole, which is clearly unacceptable for a new pair of shoes.

Today I went back to the store with my receipt, hoping to exchange them. One employee initially told me that an exchange would not be a problem. However, when I got to the cashier, I was told that the store could not exchange them because the sole was considered “damaged.”

I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect shoes to stay in perfect condition if they are worn normally. I wasn’t walking on clouds—I was simply wearing them as shoes are meant to be worn. A quality product should not fall apart after only two uses.

The most disappointing part was not only the poor quality of the sandals but also the way my situation was handled. I left the store feeling frustrated and unsupported as a customer.

Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose confidence in both the quality of the products and the customer service. I will think twice before shopping at Call It Spring again.

Was a little surprised with the reviews on this store as i have been shopping from them for years especially for fancy heels and bling purses. Did not have a bad experience from them and still own perfectly good heels from them (almost 8 years now).
Recently went shopping for heel and clutch set and found the best on sale. first time placed the order in store for shipping and no hitches from customer service and delivery.

Long-time customer of Call It Spring, but very disappointed this time.

I bought boots that I wore only a few times, and a part broke quickly. This clearly was not normal wear and tear.

My claim was refused due to the 60-day policy, with no exception or real consideration, even after explaining the issue.

Polite responses, but very disappointing lack of flexibility for an obvious quality problem. This definitely changed my view of the brand.

I bought a pair of sandles three days ago. I wore them for an hour and they tore up the back of my ankles. I realized I could not wear them and so attempted to bring them back. I brought them back to the purchase store and they denied me stating they could not return of worn. The women was super apologetic after seeing the backs of my ankles but only directed me to the customer service #. I called them to be told I could not return and they would give me a $20 credit to their store. The shoes were $60. I told them I didn’t want their store credit as I would never be purchasing from them again. Any store with any integrity would have given a refund.

Shit quality, boots didn't even last one full season.

We only wanted to change the color, but they demanded an extra $17 just because it was bought on sale. What a shame.

Customer service in store was great when we purchased shoes. We bought them the last week of August before school and by mid November both soles of the shoes cracked right into the insude if the shor on the ball of the foot, very poor quality. I'm past the 60 day mark for manufacture defects and they wont do anything about it. I didnt not keep my receipt because they take my phone number at purchase so I thought that kept our purchases on file.

I ordered in store and received an email to fill out a survey about my experience for a discount code. My discount code did not work. I reached out to customer service and was told that I should just wait for a sale or fill out another survey to get another code, rather than just giving me a replacement code for the one I already earned.

I ordered from them in christmas season and they send me both heels used there soles were pretty dirty. And one heel was properly damaged. Never buying from them ever again

I don't write reviews a lot but I feel like this is my obligation to write about this company. I bought two pairs of shoes a little over 30 days. After 3rd or 4th time wearing Shoes started cracking from heal. When I contacted to the store and guest care both they didn't bothered to do anything regarding the damaged shoes saying that we wouldn't be able to do anything it's over 30 days. I would say its just waste of money to buy anything from them. I just waisted $160 with them

I went to Call It Spring store 4th time within a month to buy some promotional items. Only once I've had a wonderful experience and another three times were terrible. Today was the worst! I left the store after 20 minutes waiting for the young lady (it looked like she was the only one there working today) bringing me the boots and runners in my size. She didn't bring me any and went up and down talking to another customers not paying attention to me and my daughter when we sat there for such a long time.
They should be trained better.

I bought a pair of loafers at the Dufferin Mall Call it Spring location. The sales girl gave me a floor model in a 6 and half size. I used the shoes for one day and found out they were not fitting properly. I went to return it to the Eaton Center location, since the Dufferin mall location did not have a size 6 The sales staff insisted not to return the shoes and said they would exchange them for me, so I agreed. Took them home tried them in the house and they were too tight, so I brought they back to the Eaton center location for a refund. The sales girls refused to return them claimed that the shoes were used they did not even call a supervisor or a manager but made the decision themselves, they did not even have name tags on. When I asked one of them what was their name? she replied they "do not disclose personal information"
So I asked for the customer service no only to find out they are completely useless and disinterested to help or provide any customer service. When I did ask the agent why don't the sales people wear any name tags he replied "they should, but that is not his responsibility it the managers of the store". Nobody is taking any responsibility. I also asked to be transfered to a manager or a supervisor he said" they did not have anyone at the call center with that authority". Buyer be aware do not purchase shoes from this company you will only be left disappointed.

Very bad quality.Don’t ever buy.Your feet will hurt like crazy.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store (Halifax, Nova Scotia). I went to exchange my shoes for a different size — I didn’t even ask for a refund. The shoes were never worn (how could I wear them if they’re not my size?), yet the staff claimed they were “worn” and refused to help. The store manager’s rude attitude made the experience even worse. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this store and take your business elsewhere.

I was at saint Laurent boulvard to buy something at you stor your employees was so disrespectful they even told me to go wash my mouth because it smells

This shoe store is run by rude and incompetent sales people. They all take their cues from a bad on site supervisor/manager. Returns with box and receipt are not accepted unless you argue with the sales rep. Never seen this type of service anywhere else. Stay away from this shoe store.

I was there in upper Canada mall on 21 of march it was lady over there with green glasses she help me a lot and made my day!
She explained to me all there products and give me the best advice!
