Not sure what's going on. Placed order for an item that was listed as "In Stock". Order confirmation said a Shipping Confirmation would be forthcoming and item would arrive in 2-5 days. Nothing. Emailed Customer Service 2 times, no response. My credit card still had NOT been charged. I had used a virtual credit card, so I locked it and wrote company AGAIN saying I was cancelling the order and locking the credit card. Maybe it's a small business and they just got behind? I dunno.

On Feb 5 2025 I ordered from them 2 Nikon EN-EL14a batteries which were shown in stock. Got an email back saying "we're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you as soon as it has been shipped."
Having not received anything more by Feb 7 I sent an email asking when the batteries will ship.
On Feb 10 I received an email saying "Your order will be shipped I couple days."
I emailed back same day asking what is the holdup and requesting to cancel the order if they cannot ship that day.
Having not received a reply by Feb 12, I emailed them again demanding to cancel the order. No reply.
On Feb 14 I sent another email advising that I will place any charge by them in dispute. No reply so far...
I don't understand what these people are thinking or doing. Have never experienced anything like this.
Steer clear of this place!!

This is one of the worst online shopping experiences ever. I placed an online order 6/28/24 after confirming with them that they had the camera I wanted in stock. I received an email confirmation, then nothing.

I contacted their customer support multiple times to follow up about delivery, but received no response. I did receive a voicemail message from their "verification" department, asking me to confirm or cancel my order. I responded with a message (you can't actually get a human) to confirm my order and again asked for delivery information. No response.

Then on 712/24, without explanation, I received an email cancelling my order. Thankfully, the charge on my credit card remained “pending” so I anticipate that it will just fall away. If not, you can bet I’ll take it up with the CC company.

I'm not sure how these guys manage to stay in business. My advice is to STAY AWAY from this business.

East check out and really well priced use clothes. If the quality I'd as good as the service thus far then life will be perfect lol!

Horrible company, possible scammers. I ordered an instock item April 16th. It was supposed to arrive 2-5 days later. I have been charged 3700, i have no item, i am unable to get a response to an email, when i call website, I'm told it is a different company that has no phone but usually responds to emails promptly. They have been holding my money hostage and it looks like my card's fraud protection is my only option.

From reading the other reviews it's clear they do not have the item they said they did and are trying to order it with my money. The 'temporary authorization' was for the full amount and i cannot even contact them to cancel. Since they used a temporary authorization you cannot dispute it with paypal but the money is absolutely gone from my account.

This is a company that has a clear track record of shady if not illegal practices. Just don't do it.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I ordered a camera over a week ago, and was promised delivery within 48 hours. I emailed them to confirm delivery, with no response. Called the number, was confirmed and promised I'd have it in two days.

My daughter is getting married, and my camera died and I needed this replacement. I ordered two weeks before it was time to head out for the wedding.

I called two days later (it had not shipped yet) and was told that the contact phone number was not for internet sales. You had to communicate via email ONLY. The problem is--they would not answer my emails.

Several days went by. No response. I saw that they offered a government and student discount, so emailed those people and got a response--and "sure, we can offer a discount." (Don't think this is a happy ending--it's not.)

I finally got a response saying that they screwed up and they didn't actually have the camera. At this point, it'd been nearly a week. I asked them when they'd get more...no response. NO response to the discount, either. Time was counting down quickly until it was too late and I'd be stuck with my iPhone as a camera for the wedding.

When I threatened to cancel my order, they responded in seconds. (so they do read their emails...but just choose not to answer..). They said they'd ship on Tuesday...but then wouldn't confirm via email, refused to answer my questions about the promised discounts, and wouldn't consider overnight shipping (even though I had paid for it). This was too much!

Finally, I reached out to a different store (Milford Photo in CT) and they had the camera. They sent it OVERNIGHT to be sure I had it for my daughter's wedding. NO issues. They even gave me a discount (which I believe was because they felt badly about my experience here at Camera Wholesalers).

This has been two weeks of never-ending stress, and I cannot recommend this seller. There is no way to talk to them if you order online. There is no way to ask questions, or try to straighten out logistics. This is no way to do business.

I posted a negative review, but when you go look at reviews, they have it set up so that negative reviews do not show up. Now, THAT is a scam. Beware!

They sent me tracking info and blamed USPS when they NEVER sent it-- never took payment even though no company ships without payment. I waited and emailed 1 month and NO APOLOGY-- NOTHING!! Ted's sent it right out...

Item never arrived post man left packaged without my consent And was stolen from porch and seller took my money and not single help. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Beware!!!
