Selling textbooks back was easy with CampusBear. They provided a prepaid shipping label and communicated in a timely manner when they received my books. My reimbursement was processed quickly.
Detalhes da empresa
Escrito pela empresa
CampusBear buys used college textbooks directly from students across the United States. We provide instant price quotes on our website, free shipping labels so you never pay to send us your books, and fast payment through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and other digital payout methods. Every quote we issue is backed by real-time market data. We price each book individually based on current demand, not bulk estimates, which means you get a fair offer that reflects what your textbook is actually worth. When your books arrive at our facility, we process them quickly and send payment, typically within 2 business days of receiving your shipment. We've been in the textbook buyback business for almost a decade, handling hundreds of thousands of transactions. Our operation is built on accuracy and transparency: the price we quote is the price we pay, as long as the book matches the condition described. No hidden deductions, no surprise rejections without explanation. Whether you're selling a single textbook at the end of the semester or clearing out a shelf of books you've accumulated over your college career, the process is the same: get a quote, print your free shipping label, pack your books, and get paid. Based in Texas. Paying out nationwide. Every book individually evaluated.

i was sadly disapointed in this site
i was sadly disapointed in this site. I sent my books back and was promised a price of over thirty dollars and ended up with a few dollars. My books were in new condition and it was the first and last time I would trust them

Thank you for the review. We have never deducted a cent from your orders. We can see two shipments from you, both paid in full at the exact quoted price, including a book that arrived with a loose binding and cover damage that we paid full price on anyway, rather than downgrading it. We think the two orders got crossed here; the higher price was the quote on a different title. Prices are set per title, so a different set of books quotes at a different amount. We've sent both quotes over so you can compare them.
Easy transaction from start to finish
Easy transaction from start to finish. I use this company because they are in the same state. In return I get paid faster, but it would be nice if they price match their competitors. But other that that it's always an easy transaction from point A to B.

I don't agree with the "excessive highlighting" and having my quote cut in half but what can you do. The process was easy and efficient.

Thanks for the honest review! Glad the process itself was smooth. On the quote change: highlighting is one of the biggest factors in what a used book can resell for, so marked-up copies get graded down, but you're right that a quote cut in half shouldn't feel like a mystery. We're working on including inspection notes and photos with every revised offer so sellers can see exactly what we found before deciding. Appreciate you choosing CampusBear!
There were issues, but they totally fixed it

Hi Robert, you're right, and we've fixed it! Some of your books had condition issues such as water damage, so the quotes were revised, but our revision emails never reached you, and after 14 days the lower offers are accepted automatically. From your side that looked like unexplained payments like the $2.20, which isn't acceptable. We've now reviewed every order on your account and paid all of them at the full original quotes, and emailed you the complete breakdown with your order-history link. You also made a fair point about looking up past orders: every order gets a status link by email, and a proper login page is on our roadmap because of feedback like yours!
