Lack of communication
I ordered an OLympus 8mm fisheye lens around mid Oct.2024.Canada Electronics confirmed the order,but never sent me a shipping confirmation.After several weeks I tried to contact them by phone/chat line/email,but got no response.I ended up cancelling the order.Canada Electronics never did get back to me-seems like quite the "fly by night" operation.I vowed never to deal with them again.
I bought a Samsung S23 Ultra
I bought a Samsung S23 Ultra, it totally died after 3 months of use, the customer service dragged it out for months and now they don't even answer my emails when i enquire about how they will replace the phone. Don't buy from this store. Worst customer service experience ever.

Unfortunately, I thought that last time there was a mail error, so I waited a month for the phone. I trusted Canada Electronics again and ordered another phone. The order was on October 9, and today is November 8 and they accepted the order, but they are not sending it. During this time, phones in other stores have become cheaper, and I can't beg them to give me mine.
Poor Customer Service and Warranty Support
I purchased a Sony Xperia 1 V smartphone from Canada Electronics on November 2, 2023, but the device has been plagued with issues since day one. The Wi-Fi reception is weak, 4G/5G connectivity is unreliable, and Bluetooth constantly disconnects from my devices. I reached out to Canada Electronics on September 17 for warranty support, and they promised to send a return shipping label within 1-2 business days. It has now been over 46 days, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still haven’t received any assistance or the promised shipping label. I’m left with a malfunctioning device and no response from Canada Electronics. This delay and lack of customer care are unacceptable, especially for a high-end purchase. I strongly urge Canada Electronics to improve their customer support and to honor their warranty commitments. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them to anyone looking for reliable after-sales support.
Service pourri !!! Communication inexistante
J'ai passé une commande le 23 octobre 2024 et je n'ai toujours aucune nouvelle de confirmation de livraison. J'avais commandé la caméra a7Rv et la lentille Sony FE 16-35 F/2.8 GM 2. J'ai tenté à multiple reprises de les contacter que ce soit par courriel ou par chat sur leur site internet et à ce jour aucune réponse de leur part. Sur leur site internet, il est indiqué que les items sont en stock. Je doute fort que ce soit le cas. Je vais revenir indiquer la suite du dossier lorsque j’aurai du nouveau. 7 novembre toujours aucune nouvelles. La commande dans l’application « Shop » n’apparaît plus. 11 novembre ma commande sur ma carte de crédit a été annulée. Et en date d’aujourd’hui, 11 novembre l’entreprise n’a jamais communiqué avec moi!!! Nous sommes rendus maintenant le 3 décembre et toujours jamais eu de retour de leur part!!!!!
Easily the worst online buying…
Easily the worst online buying experience I've ever had. Placed an order on Sept 25th, didn't get a notification from Canada Post until Oct 7th. Shipping notification was reversed a week later and the Canada Post site and has ever since read "Item delayed — stay tuned for updates". Have sent no fewer than 4 email requests asking for updates, and countless attempts via their online chat, which consistently go unanswered. Called their customer service line and was sent directly to a voicemail box which was already too full to take a message. It's now October 29th, and still no sign of the order, or any indication from Canada Electronics what might be causing the delay.

So far TERRIBLE customer service is unresponsive i ordered my new phone on the 13 of September website states many in stock.. I have emailed numerous times no reply however the 2 times i did get a reply was told that it would ship that monday to expect it by tuesday the following week was told the same song and dance. and now absolutely nothing (crickets) Think i was just screwed outta my money I paid. The least they could do is tell the truth if its not in stock then say so i dont mind to wait but when i am told BS 2 times they are blatenly lieing... If it is not here tomorrow I will proceed with getting the loan cancelled as i have contacted my lender already to give them a heads up about this company if i ever get my order I may consider changing this but So far they have left me with no Choice to but to start complaining online to hopefully help the next person out to NOT WASTE THEIR MONEY with this company, so far it appears to me to be a scam..Cant reach anyone but they certainly already accepted the payment knowing full well they must not have the item in stock.. my best advice AVOID AT ALL COSTS. will update if they ever get back to me...

They created a shipping label but never called the Canada Post to pick it up yet. It's been 5 days now since the label was created. They are ignoring my emails and live chat requests. I will update if I ever hear from them.
Update: I recieved my lens today. Instead of taking 10-14 days it took 24 days. It did arrive though. I saved $1000 on the Sony 100-400mm that I bought so I'd say it's still worth ordering with them. Just be aware that it will take way longer than they say and their communication is very bad.

Buyer beware!
Placed an order on August 21st, and received confirmation that it would take 10-14 days. Product never arrived. I contacted them several times by email and never got a response. I contacted them 4 times via webchat but their agents were always busy and never responded to my questions. I then called only to get voicemail and they never returned my messages. I eventually got an email (Sept 12th) saying a shipping label was created. By Sept. 19 still no tracking info. I checked with Canada Post and they had not received the item. I contacted my bank to dispute the claim. So, customer service is non existent and I seriously doubt the legitimacy of this business. Buyer beware! UPDATE: On Sept. 19, I sent one last email demanding a refund or I would rapport their business as fraudulent. An hour later I received a response stating that the item was just scanned by CP. I finally received the item on Sept. 23. Product was brand new and legit. So, placed the order on Aug. 21st, website indicated "plainly in stock". The store is in Ottawa, two hours from my home. I received the item, which was shipped from Winnipeg (?), 5 weeks later. Customer service is absolutely terrible and shipping is extremely slow. This was the worst online purchase I've ever made.

Excellent value but very slow dispatch and delivery
Great value on my Canon R6 Mark 11. However dispatch and delivery very slow. Camera body is still in transit and I ordered it 6 weeks ago. Canadian Electronics also used Canada Post which is the slowest of all well known package delivery services.

I was concerned that Canada Electronics was not a major player and how was it they could offer such good pricing. The shipping takes longer as you are paying lower prices for goods on the grey market. In my case, my camera was likely shipped from Japan with documentation in Japanese but the price was well worth the wait and extra work of downloading a manual in English.

My worst purchase online ever. Ordered & paid on Aug 8-24 for a new cell phone. Website said it was stock. It only shipped Aug 21, today, Aug 30, Canada Post has changed the delivery status for the 3rd consecutive day now saying ''item delayed, stay tuned''. I have sent multiple emails, chats and voice messages to this company asking for a call back which never came. I only managed to speak with someone 2 times, and their info was not accurate.
