⚠️ Achtung Abzocke – besonders für Fahranfänger!

Ich habe über Check24 einen Mietwagen für Teneriffa gebucht. Der Gesamtpreis inklusive aller Versicherungen lag bei rund 200 €. Bei der Ankunft vor Ort wurde mir dann plötzlich gesagt, dass ich wegen eines angeblich „höheren Risikos“ zusätzlich 250 € zahlen müsse – obwohl laut Buchung eigentlich alles abgedeckt war.

Als ich später erwähnte, dass ich das Fahrzeug nachts zurückgeben werde, wollte man mir dafür erneut extra Gebühren berechnen. Erst als ich erklärte, dass ich wirklich kein weiteres Geld habe, wurde darauf verzichtet.

So stellt man sich keinen entspannten Urlaubsstart vor. Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung – ich werde dort definitiv nicht noch einmal buchen.

Noleggiato delle bici a Tenerife con consegna in albergo, dopo 45 minuti di ritardo ce ne andiamo e non ci hanno rimborsato, complimenti ottimo servizio!!

Terrible experience with the Alua Athletico Canaries.com car hire.

Luckily I took photos beforehand as the car had scratches all down the side of the vehicle and on the alloy. Used the car for 24hrs and they tried to say that I had scratched it resulting in them not wanting to give my £100 deposit back.

The car had 3/4 worth of fuel which I had photo’d beforehand and the lady on the desk told me to put back what was used (as expected)
When I returned the car back to the with 3/4 fuel, they argued about not giving me my full deposit back because I hadn’t filled the car up to full.
The gentlemen at the desk was fairly shouty when I told him I wanted a full refund and shown him the photos of proof. He took nearly half of the deposit and refused to give me a full desopit despite me explaining I hadn’t done anything wrong within the contract.
Canaries.com broke their own contract and charged me for it.

Be vigilant when booking with them, take photos beforehand and don’t be scammed by this company.

Dort sehr hilfsbereit und seriös.

We rented a car on Tenerife. We had to pick it up at a different hotel. When we wanted to take it back (a day early…) they said drive around until you find a parkingplace somewhere…not out concern. Nice service….never again Canarian rental!

Kürzlich reiste ich für ein paar Tage geschäftlich nach Teneriffa, wobei ich mit einigen Firmen Verhandlungstermine vereinbart hatte. Für eine flexible Mobilität reservierte ich bei der Buchung einen Leihwagen, den ich am Hotel in Emphang nehmen und nach Beendigung meiner Termine am Flughafen zurückgeben konnte.
Zwar stand der gebuchte Polo nicht zur Verfügung, alternativ wurde mir ein Golf zur Nutzung angeboten. Dies geschah völlig reibungslos und ohne Aufpreis, keine versteckten Zusatzkosten und ebenfalls die Rückgabe am Flughafen verlief zügig und ohne unnötigen Aufwand.
Bei künftigen Reisen nach Teneriffa – egal ob geschäftlich oder urlaubshalber - werde ich erneut diese Buchungsform via canarias.com vornehmen, denn sie erwies sich sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Sehr zu empfehlen für Reisende mit ähnlichen Reisepläne.

Vorsicht, die Tankfüllstände werden im übergabeprotokoll zu Gunsten von Canarias abgeändert! Wie geschehen bei unseren zwei Mietwägen. Anstatt 3/8 stand 4/8 im übergabeprotokoll und beim zweiten Mietwagen war der Tank auch nicht bei 8/8.

Das Multimedia Display des Mietwagens hat nicht funktioniert und nach mehreren Anrufen bei Canarias konnte der Mietwagen nach 3 Tagen erst getauscht werden.

Beim zweiten Mietwagen hat dann alles gepasst. Allerdings würde ich bei Canarias keinen Mietwagen mehr buchen!

Un'azienda davvero fantastica!! Sono stata a Tenerife Sud la prima settimana di febbraio. Il ragazzo Luigi Manganiello mi è stato di un aiuto straordinario!! Dotato di gentilezza,buone maniere,stile e educazione squisita!! Grazie mille!

Pessimo servizio. All'arrivo il loro ufficio nell'areoporto era chiuso abbiamo dovuto contattarli per avere la posizione dove recuperare l'auto, che alla fine era nel parcheggio dell'areoporto.
Ci hanno lasciato l'auto con un pieno di un terzo, il minimo sindacale per arrivare alla nostra struttura. Per la riconsegna ci hanno addirittura detto di lasciare le chiavi dell'auto in un foro dietro al furgoncino, e non si sono assicurati nè alla consegna nè alla riconsegna riguardo allo stato dell'auto. Ciliegina sulla torta si sono trattenuti 29,60 euro sulla cauzione nonostante il pieno fosse lo stesso che ci hanno fornito. Specifico che l'addetto ci aveva rassicurate che andava bene lasciare la stessa quantità di gasolio che ci avevano fatto trovare all'inizio. Abbiamo le foto di tutto. NON VI FIDATE!

Unos familiares de mi mujer llegaron desde Ámsterdam el día 3 de septiembre 2024 al aeropuerto Tenerife Sur.
El vuelo se había retrasado por causas ajenas a ellos y cuando fueron a recoger el coche, pagado el servicio por 20 días, les cobraron un suplemento de 40 € sin factura y como argumento: "es lo que hay"
Estas prácticas, individualmente son delitos leves por estafa pero multiplicado por el número de clientes, número de vuelos y días estamos ante un delito de estafa continuada punible.

Se me olvidó el carnet de conducir. Gracias a un chico muy amable de la empresa pude alquilar un coche de su compañía, ya que comprobaron que mi carnet estaba totalmente en regla. En TopCar no me quisieron dar el coche, incluso después de hacer la comprobación por medio de un agente de la Guardia Civil. Encantando con el servicio de esta compañía.

Worst car rental company ever!!!

Never again. Representant at at arrival very difficult to find. Bad english, not friendly...when I checked the car fro pre-existing damages (and it had many)...the coment was "what do you care, you have full coverage). The car was in terrible condition, including totally bald tires..(thank god it did not rain) and had almost no fuel in the tank....! When returning the car we had trouble finding the same spot again..as we were not given any directions...this company has zero service!! Then some guy picked up the car and left. We did not get any receipt or indication as to when I will get my depoisit back. They run away from you as they do not want to have any contact with the customer....absolutely horrible experience

RUBBISH company, if I could give 0 stars I would, I have never met an unprofessional and crappy company in my life.We paid €150 for Loro Parque from the premises of the Alua Atlántico Golf Resort hotel, we were picked up by a minibus and taken to Los Cristianos where we waited for more than an hour in the sun with a child following us. in the end we went to Loro Parque after dropping us back to los Cristianos where they simply forgot about us we waited an hour and a half until we decided to take a taxi which we paid for and they didn't even wanted to refund me. Avoid this company that treats people with no respect

We were 8 days in Hotel Alua Tenerife. In This Hotel is located an agency to rent cars called Canaries.com. I recommend this agency. An employee called Noemie help us very well to plan our trips during our hollidays. She find us a really good car adapted to Tenerife. The car was in good state with many options. Noemie give us many advices to pass good holiday in Tenerife and move freely. I recommand the Canarias.com agency and particularly the agent called Noemie.

I have been renting cars all over Spain, Canary island and Europe and this is the only company that requested international driver’s license while I clearly indicated that I am currently in Spain and have a rental car. American driver’s license are accepted all over Spain and Europe, however this company gave me a hard time that I have to obtain IDL meaning flying back to the USA , applying and returning to Spain. Americans and Canadians, please beware and avoid this company!

Booked a car for hire from TFS airport. 15 days for under £400. Very good value, excellent car (polo), great service, good insurance. Put my wife on the insurance for less than £7. Very fast pick up and drop off. Much better value than the companies in the terminal. Thank you, everyone. Love the little red car at the airport.

We rented a car from Canarias.com through our hotel in Los Christianos, Tenerife. When we spoke with the receptionist of the hotel at the end of the rental period he kindly offered to leave the keys with him and let him handle the return. So far, so good.

When we 2 days afterwards passed by Canarios.com's office in Los Christianos, I just went in to be sure that everything was ok. And then an old woman at the desk in a very rude and aggressive manner began to yell at us that it was not ok to leave the keys with the hotel - even though we booked the car through the hotel and the hotel itself offered to take charge of the return. She was so aggressive that I at last had to turn my back on her and ignore her while speaking to one of her colleagues. Very bad experience. So my advice to you is to choose a company who knows how to treat their customers properly.
