Carmart Promises not kept beware

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service and overall experience I have received from America's Car-Mart 3015 Summerhill Rd Texarkana Texas,since my initial purchase. Despite consistently fulfilling my financial obligations promptly and ahead of schedule, I have encountered significant challenges in receiving the level of service and adherence to commitments that one would reasonably expect from a reputable automotive dealership.

From the outset, there have been recurring issues regarding services that were explicitly promised during the acquisition process. It is particularly concerning given the substantial financial investment I have made in the vehicle, which, in my assessment, far exceeds its market value. Such a premium cost naturally cultivates an expectation of exceptional customer support and comprehensive fulfillment of all agreed-upon terms.

A recent incident particularly exemplifies this pattern of unmet promises. I was assured a final complimentary oil change as part of my agreement. Upon attempting to redeem this service, I was informed that too much time had elapsed, and consequently, the offer would not be honored. It is important to clarify that due to my remote work arrangements, my vehicle usage is minimal, meaning a routine oil change was not required until recently. Had there been clear, proactive communication detailing a specific timeframe or expiry for this promised service, I would have ensured its completion within that window. The absence of such critical information led directly to this unfortunate denial.

This situation reflects a broader pattern where it appears necessary to escalate issues or formally complain to receive the expected service. This is an unsustainable and frustrating dynamic. My consistent dedication to timely payments should be reciprocated with unwavering commitment to your obligations.

Given the severity and persistence of these concerns, I have also formally registered my experience with the Better Business Bureau. I sincerely hope for a comprehensive review of my account and a definitive resolution to these ongoing service discrepancies.

Bad Review of Car Mart of Lawton, OK

My niece visited Car Mart of Lawton and had one of the most disappointing experiences imaginable. Upon arriving, she was greeted by a salesman who seemed more interested in his personal comfort than the customers. Think she mentioned his name being Lonnie. My niece told me, throughout their conversation, he had a strong odor of marijuana, which made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable.
The selection of cars was underwhelming, and many vehicles appeared to be in poor condition. When she asked about the history of a particular car, the salesman was evasive and seemed to be stalling rather than providing clear information. It felt like he was more focused on making a quick sale rather than ensuring customer satisfaction.
To top it off, the prices were inflated compared to similar models she found at other dealerships. She left feeling very uneasy about their practices and unwilling to recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and look elsewhere for more professional service and a better selection.

America's Car-Mart (Nacogdoches) is the WORST car dealer ever! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever go them! Save yourself the trouble, stress and heartache and just go find some other less dishonest car dealer to work with. They do nothing but sell LEMONS. They make promises they never keep, never return phone calls, they cheat you every way they can. And no one who is ever in the office (if they are ever there) can help you. If you actually do manage to find a way to talk to someone all thry do is pass the buck, NO ONE takes the initiative to try and make something right. I shouldn't have signed when I did and I knew I shouldn't but I had already been with out a car for 4+ months and it was the best one on the lot. (They tried to sell me one that the AC didn't work, a different one the drivers seat was broke laying all the way back and had no handle to even try to adjust the seat, one had a faint knock and the list goes on!) I haven't had this car 6 months and I've had to repair and replace so many things! Yes I realize a used car comes with it's own issues but I seriously doubt they even check out the vehicles before they put them on the lot (I mean how can you miss a broken driver's seat!!!)

They have no sense of service, if you walk in trying to do anything but pay your bill you'll be met with rudeness and attitude. They sure know how to fake it when they are trying to get you in a car though!!!!

Just don't, find someone else to work with, anyone else has got to better than this business!!!!!!

They feed heavily on those in tight/desperate situations and then they hang you out to dry while they are milking every last penny out of you they can!

I will never write a bad review if I…

I will never write a bad review if I don't have too but this company is a rip off. I bought a car with them in late 2022 and now I don't have it in my possession because I bought a lemon. There are lemon laws here in the great state of ga but this place sold me a car that after less than two weeks going in the engine fails so a new engine had to be placed which caused me to use uber and Lyft to get to work Well ever since I bought this car and their crappy warranty which I used that help repair the car with every part needing to be replaced basically and I have not driven this car mostly due to the fact it stayed in the shop most of the time I had it on top of having to pay the warranty fee for it getting fixed and my car note I felt as if they never cared I good on my payments for two years on time and never skipped a beat until I had to put more money into it and the cycle keeps going moving forward they try to overcharge for a car that's over 15 yrs old and no way I will continue to drive a car that already on its last leg everyone knows Chryslers are crappy cars so for these people to treat me like a second class citizen is crazy work so to be fair I just gave the car back to them don't care because they do not acknowledge this at all they want money not your honest business and I can see them completely going out of business. So do yourself a favor and don't give these people your business you will regret it completely you are better off going to places like drivetime or another place like Sports and Imports and or Auto Gallery. Even the big dealerships will be safer than this place. High interest rates is a killer as well. The GM is very incompetent and he walks around with that snooty stank attitude and he need to go work somewhere else other than the auto industry because he is horrible and I've gotten nothing but crap from these people so they can respond however they choose I'm telling you all to run and don't even give this place a chance because I want to save the next person the headache. I regret doing business with these people I feel have taken full advantage of me and I have wasted so much money with them all to end up not with the car which I was supposed to have to the end. Like I said I hope they are professional with their response because anything else will be nail in the coffin the absolute nerve. They will be out of business soon followed by a class action lawsuit. I have gone on to purchase a great running Toyota which will be much better than continuing to pay them for car that was already on its last leg when I bought it. Let that sink in!!!!!!

My car has been paid off for 3 years…

My car has been paid off for 3 years and they still have my title. I've been by the dealership on numerus occasions and there's been a different excuse every time. I've asked them to mail it. I've spoken to the corporate office 3 times and have yet to get an update. I am dating this as of today because I've been in several times and I've called several times.

My car broke down between Texline TX…

My car broke down between Texline TX and Clayton NM. I called mon morning spoke with David he got figured out within 30 mins on how to get my car fixed and everything handled. Anytime I have had an issue they have handled as soon as possible. Thank you carmart for getting us back on the road.

These people are total hell

These people are total hell. They're bullies, jerks and think they make the rules. DO NOT DO BUSINESS. They think they can just rewrite the law and pull people over and affect their travel. All should be prosecuted

I would like to tell all my friends and family and whoever see this post how wonderful car Mart in Claremore Oklahoma helping me out. Ms. Pam is the best but I can't just give her all the credit because everyone else works there is awesome!!!! BUT they really helped me out and they also helping me keep my faith cause I was about to give up due to the situation I'm in, but through faith, they help me keep going!!! Thanks for being a good friend and family to me!!!! (I love those ppl)

LIARS, DO NOT FOLLOW Through and they will Harass You

we need a thumb down one star is only because, we have no other choice. Let me begin. Last August I literally was desperate for a car with AC, remember, how people say don't go to the grocery store hungry, Car mart is the most HORRIBLE place anyone could ever buy a car there is an old saying, the 3 top liars of all time first CAR SALESMAEN second LAWYERS, and lastly Politicians. That is Car Mart has them all beat they sold me a car said it was a good car I hated the car as soon as I saw the Toaster. is a 2014 Kia Soul. So I get a certified letter from the Kia Corp and it states all attempts have been made to fix the car The car has 8 recalls I was so upset I contact the dealership they ignored all letters and the certified letters, 3 of the 8 recalls could cause severe bodily harm or death. So I go to register the car and the lady that was helping me says I have don so many title transfers on this car she told 22 people before me bought the car. Anyway they have this satisfaction Guarantee if your not happy no questions asked we will allow you to find another car on the lot of equal value, they bullied me did not stand up to their promises. Now stuck with this car, I get a check on the first of the month so I told them my note had to be due on the first because they had it due on the 12 I was very VOCAL and was promised the note would indeed be on the first just another lie, so now a day after the first they call me my friends family the harass all of us, they come on a daily basis till the first sit in driveway blowing the horn non stop if I am not home my poor Autistic granddaughter will call me crying scared they beat on the door peeking through the windows, who would do this well I will tell you AMERICAS CARMART

Poor customer service

I would give them a zero star if I could. I brought my car from Decatur AL. They came to my house and gave me a note to pay them $200 on Friday by 6:00 and come in the office to make arrangement on payments. I made the payments at 5:50 on line. But didn't go into the office. About 3 months ago I did go into the office to work out a payment plan. They refused to do so because I want to pay monthly instead of biweekly. They made an excuse and told me they couldn't do it that way. Well today I got woke up by them towing my car. After I pay them $200 Friday. Tried to call the corporate office but it said they are having difficulties. Did this twice already. No luck the 2nd time. When I called them about my car then they hung up on me. Poor customer service. Never will buy a car from American Car Mart again. If you want to buy a car then go and buying it somewhere else.

Affordable Friendly place to buy a Car ..

I have bought two vehicles from car-mart and I am very happy with both .The ladies in the office are great .Jen is extremely helpful and very easy going..love her weekly little reminder chats ..fact is I like all the employees at the east 7th car-Mart in Joplin.. Jessica who sold me both vehicles.. all the ladies in the office all have friendly smiles .. John the head mechanic..very smart. Very experienced ..can’t forget Keith who is down to earth and keeps the cars up nice .. Thanks everyone

can't choose zero stars or that would have been my choice. I got a little behind not much considering I paid them 400 dollars one week ago and the repoed my car today 7 days after I paid them. said their was no communication but their aware I work night shift and sleep days. now if I can even manage to come up with the money in order to get my car back I have to pay a 350 dollar repo fee on top of the 175 a week that is insane. and again I paid the 7 days ago. the manager is a coward and I was not speaking rude or denying I was late but refused to get on the phone with me. how are you gonna be a manager and not even be able to take a phone call? she said it had been 9 days since communication and 7 days since a payment.. 7 freaking days and they took the car, this is not how you do business with people that go to work for their money. was my 400 dollar payment not enough communication... their money hungry thief's that just take and take from the working class. have never in my life came done business with such a shady company that was hell bent and set on ripping off the very people that pay their salary .... I advise everyone to go anywhere but americas car mart they will take you for all they can then a little more
