eft my car is a disgusting state moss and mould growing everywhere and I told me that they could come back today to fix it and instead of coming back day instead cancelled my appointment and scheduled it for Thursday when I’m busy on purpose they don’t want to talk to me over the phone and when I asked for an email to be sent to me in writing to confirm what we discussed, they won’t do it an absolute shambles. I paid for full valet with mould removal package and they only did the interior. I will attach photos of my car and you can understand why I’m so disgusted. I hope the calls are recorded. Instead of just giving me the £30 refund I requested which covers the exterior only clean they rather drag this out and make up lies. They now won’t reply to my emails or return my calls.

Car4Valet,Newbury: Didn't turn up for appointment. Phoned, said they would check & phone back - didn't. Phoned again, left a message. Still didn't reply. Useless.

I booked a Full Valet after reading the positive reviews, and it was very easy to arrange online. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I want to share what happened so others can make an informed choice.

My car (Audi A1) was already pretty clean as I’d just bought it from a garage who had given it a standard clean — it just needed a proper deep clean as the Full Valet promised. Instead, several areas were missed or not done properly: the driver’s mat/footwell still looked dirty and barely different to before, there were smears and smudges left on the paintwork, and the boot trim around the rear lights was still dirty (I wiped this off easily myself the next day). Inside, the plastic door pockets and seat runner areas were also left uncleaned.

The seats were still damp the next day, and the car smells musty rather than fresh.

I paid £100 for the Full Valet and honestly don’t think it was worth even half that. I wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t use them again.

It was their sister company 5star valeting solutions based in Swindon.Very disappointed with the quality of service received. After agreeing to a date and time I was contacted to rearrange a time which I agreed to – 3.30 on the 3/7. I was then contacted by the person doing the valet asking could he come around at 12 which from the very beginning was a time I stated I could not do. I explained this and was informed he would contact the office and would get back to me which of course he did not. I got the impression he could not be bothered to attend at the agreed time as he wanted to finish early. If that is the attitude common to their employees then I would certainly would not want them anywhere near my car. A waste of time

Arrived an hour early without prior notice and I wasn't really ready for them as I work and need to arrange accordingly.
The wheel arches weren't done and left wash marks on the car.
Also when they drove off a pile of rubbish was left in the road where their van had parked. It wasn't rubbish from my car but cigarettes' rubbish, other bits and bobs and a small baggy, it was a lot like they just empty the rubbish from their van into the road outside my house. I sent pictures and a complaint email, yet to hear back, Wish I had check trust pilot before.

I do not recommend giving any business to car4valet as they are untrustworthy.

Booked a service via 5 Star Valeting Solutions, another trading name, I presume, of this company. Their homepage is allocated within TrustPilot to a seemingly unrelated car wash in Edinburgh, hence why I'm leaving my review here instead. They showed up two hours earlier despite agreement with customer service via email they would come later. Emailed customer service to complain and say I showed them flexibility and didn't turn the technician away; I asked if they could show me good will as well via refunding me for a £7 Uber I paid for because of their getting the service time wrong; never heard back from them. The service itself was good, the logistics/admin/client service is all over the place. Better avoid a company where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and that doesn't answer complaints privately.
