Klav, the operative, was incredibly thorough, leaving no stone unturned. His feedback was extensive and insightful, going as far as checking out motoring forums to see if some of the issues uncovered were familiar. We chose not to select an operative but to leave it to chance, and did we strike lucky with Klav. This guy takes his job seriously and it is very clear that this is a passion for him, not just a job.

It allows you to select any date and time while smoothly taking your payment, but then you hear nothing! After a few hours of frustrating interactions on both the booking page and main site chat, I was met with an unsatisfactory response. They claimed I hadn't chosen two dates, which was supposedly required. If that’s the case, the website process needs to reflect this requirement clearly! Plus, why would I need two dates? I was far from the vendor, who had numerous appointments, yet kindly waited for my evaluation. The whole process of choosing two dates is impractical, compounded by hours of silence about whether the inspection would happen.Just as I was about to give up or suspect a scam, a text confirmed the next morning's appointment. This brought us back to the outstanding service mentioned earlier. The technician gave timely updates, performed a flawless inspection, and provided an excellent report and follow-up.In summary, the car assessment is truly exceptional without any downsides I can see; it's as good as it gets. However, the booking ordeal and less than stellar customer service dragged down the overall experience to 4 stars: 7 stars for the engineer and 1 star for the booking and customer support.

I wanted them to inspect an imported car. The very next day I booked their service they went and inspected the car and gave me the full report. This really help me to understand about the car and buy it in a peaceful mind.

Fantastic service from Carexamer - easy to book, great communication, and excellent value. Super detailed report. I opted for the Standard report on a premium vehicle bought privately. The mechanic was knowledgeable, accessible, and thorough, and the whole platform ran perfectly. Much better price and platform than the big recovery brands!

Overall a good experience with informative information included in the report.
Would have appreciated some measurable inspection information on specific items such as brake pad wear rather than a general ’satisfactory’ but maybe that’s just me.
Had a little trouble being able to access the photos which accompanied and were referenced in the report which added critical time during discussion with the vendor as I was not in possession of a full report.
Also noted the vendor had access to the report, which left them with a free condition report after the prospective deal we had fell through, when they rescinded on our agreement to purchase.

Had it not been for the time delay in receiving all report information, I would have increased the experience star rating
