Don't waste your time—frustrating experience and zero value.

I decided to use a Car Expert to save time and money, but unfortunately, this service failed on both fronts. If I could give zero stars for communication, I would.

I constantly had to chase them for updates. Days would go by without a return call or email. I felt like I was doing all the legwork myself just to get a status report.

After weeks of being told a specific vehicle was secured, I was informed at the eleventh hour that the car **wasn't actually in stock**. It’s incredibly unprofessional to promise a vehicle that doesn’t exist.

The whole point of hiring a broker is to leverage their "network" for a better price. After factoring in their fees, the final quote was barely lower than what I could have negotiated myself with a twenty-minute phone call to a local dealer.

Save yourself the headache and go straight to the dealership. You’ll get better transparency, more accurate inventory information, and likely the same price without the middleman drama.

Initially, the service was helpful and responsive. We were looking to purchase a new vehicle and provided detailed information about our budget, preferred models, trade-in vehicles and financing requirements.

One of our vehicles was valued at around $4,000, which we later sold privately for $13,000. While we understand trade-in offers are generally lower than private sale prices, the difference was substantial.

The bigger issue was the communication. Despite making it clear that we remained very interested in purchasing a new car through CarExpert, and despite multiple follow-up emails over several weeks, our enquiries eventually went unanswered altogether.

In the end, we purchased a vehicle without CarExpert's assistance. It's disappointing because the experience started well, but the lack of communication meant we ultimately had to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend the service.

Car Expert made my jorney to find my car that cannot easier. I have watch Paul and his team to review and compare the cars I am after. Thanks to their honest and detailed reviews with comparison, I finally selected the 2026 KIA Sportage petrol GT-Line Jungle Green. Josh had found me the car that I want with very good price and I cannot get it by myself. Lee got me the car finance with low loan interest. My whole car purchase only took 2 days to complete. Well done guys! I cannot say thanks enough. I therefore highly recommend eveyone to use Car Expert next time when you need a car.

Great service and very fast turnaround. They got a good price on a car I already found but the dealer wouldn’t negotiate with me so I gave it to Sam at Car Expert and got the same car with numerous optional extras for less than the original asking price. Saved me around $3,500.
