Ordered a car with expected build date Jan-Feb and delivery in March-April before Christmas - order number 31292541. No contact since 4th Jan until I finally called today to get an update on whether my car had been built as my last update stated it should have been. Email a few hours later stating build date now mid MAY. So a 3 month delay in build date with no update from this company since the start of January - that I had to chase up myself with them. The only reason I came to this company was due to another broker letting me down on another car which never materialised and being assured by this company that they had every confidence my car wouldn't be delayed beyond the Jan-Feb build dates given by CUPRA. (as apparently they had already been pushed back from 2022).
Whilst delays like this are not the broker's fault directly, I want a conversation with what's gone wrong here ASAP and what assurances there are from CUPRA for this not happening again come May and the car never actually being delivered.
EDIT: Call today as promised and options being looked into. Expecting call back within a week. Will update
