A great car buying experience

From going in to purchase the car, to collecting it the service was fantastic. Steve wasn't pushy at all, and did everything he could to help us get the car.
When it came to the additional warranty there was no push to purchase but a very detailed description of what it covered was provided. Ultimately, we decided to take the 2 year extended warranty and it covers a lot of issues that could crop up.
After a week of owning the car the DPF failed and needed to go in for fixing. We contacted Car Synergy and they confirmed that the issue was covered and to drop it off. A courtesy call from the warranty company after 2 weeks to confirm they had authorised and paid for the work was a great reassurance whilst we waited for the fix.
Car Synergy have used a genuine part on the car from the supplier and although there was a delay in getting this it was reassuring they were using authentic parts.
Overall we would highly recommend Car Synergy and would look to use them again in the future

STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!!

Wish there was a 0 star option because I would snap your hand off for it. The cars in this garage are you polished up to look nice and all they do is make sure they run for the time being. I bought a Range Rover from these in March and it broke down after 2 weeks so I took it back to Leeds to get repairs done at car synergy. After this repair was done and the warranty ran out 3 months after the purchase I have done nothing but pay to get repairs done to a point where the car itself is actually a write off now as it needs a full engine rebuild brand new dpf filter and a brand new turbo bringing the cost including labour to more than the value of the car. Stay well clear from these as I can remember the saying ‘you can’t polish a

Gavin was very friendly

Gavin was very friendly, with a very personal service and nothing was too much trouble. Everything that was asked to be done on the car was done to a high standard.

Shiny Faulty Cars ..Don't do it.

The Worse Experience Ever. Wish there was a zero star option. CarSynergy sold me a faulty car. They were very aware of the faults but were deceptive , all they wanted was to sell it off to someone who was clueless. The car brokedown and didn't receive no help from Steve. Steve pushed us to Macaulay and he was extremely rude and dismissive and told us it's not their problem contact warranty company. A week after paying for a new clutch the car brokedown again and refused to start completely and we were dismissed again and left to deal with it on our own stranded. Until we made a complaint about the rude ,dismissive , treatment we were receiving from CarSynergy to Blue Motor Finance. If it wasn't for Felicien Ekoume from Blue Motor Finance Complaints team, we would have never had received the help we needed. CarSynergy all of the sudden were in comms with us ONLY because they were now made aware of the complaint filed against their car, if it wasn't that they would have dismissed us like the way they had been everytime the car was breaking down. From being the main point contact, Steve started hiding and avoiding us, because he knew he handled a sale on a faulty car. The car was meant to be picked up in February but only the tooth fairy knows why it took a month for CarSynergy to deliver the car. I picked up the car mid March after purchasing it on the 11th of February . They claimed it was being serviced only to find out that nothing was done at all, and that it had failed mot 2 days before I had picked it up in March. Which proved they knew the car was faulty. Not only was CarSynergy dismissive and rude, they were very aggressive with me trying to just make me keep a car they knew was faulty. Gavin got looped in and promised that he will handle the situation better . He arranged to pick up the car from Southampton to Leeds. Only to receive the car to stage fake and false damages to the car, unknown to him I had taken a video of the car before the pickup because I knew they weren't to be trusted. They sent the staged pictured to the finance company and if it wasn't for the video they would have gotten away with the lie, they literally showed them selves to the Finance company that they were liars and were trying to orchestrate a malicious narrative. I would genuinely say if you're a person of colour don't even bother getting a car from them, because you will be treated like we were nothing they way they bark at you you will just know that its racially driven, when taking your money they will be all smiles then treat you and talk to you like you're less than human. I ended up rejecting the car as they had clearly proved that they were just focused on being malicious than actually wanting to resolve the issue. I didnt have a car for 2 months due to tje breakdown and they didn't care. They are the worst car dealership. If anyone sees a blue range rover evoque don't buy it it's extremely faulty.

Exceptional

Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with - super quick in getting me my dream car with total transparency and tonnes of help regarding part exchanging and settling the balance on my previous car. Unfortunately, an oil leak was spotted by the team before I was meant to pick up the car, but they fixed it so quickly it was hardly a delay. Very impressed they found and fixed it, I know many dealerships that would happily ignore it and ship to the customer regardless.

It also makes a wonderful change not having a salesman push and force a car on you, especially with all the additional add-ons for protecting every last thing on the car! The whole process was so straight forward and an absolute joy dealing with someone who clearly loves cars and what they do. To top that all off, I feel I got an absolute bargain with the car, and equally got a very fair price with my part exchange.

If car synergy has the car you’re looking for, you’d be silly going elsewhere! Well worth my trip both ways from Surrey to Leeds.

I can’t fault car synergy at all, I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thanks again Steve!
