I own a TD5 defender and needed an ECU to rectify a problem. After shopping around the price was the best quote I had had. I sent the ECU to Cartech and they diagnosed the problem and cloned my ECU saving all my remap and EGR delete. This was invaluable. They kept me informed at all stages. All in all it took 2 days from sending the ECU to receiving it back and fitted to the defender and having it running again. Exemplary service, I highly recommend them.

Had problems with my van, suspected this to be the ECU. Sent mine to Cartech who cloned onto replacement ECU and returned. Unfortunately this didn't resolve the problem, it did however rule out the ECU as the fault. There was no messing about with the refund which landed back in my account in a few days. Communication was great.

Brilliant - no other word for it. My BMW F650GS cut out on me on a short Thursday ride. Dreaded 'EWS' on screen; immobiliser active. Friday spent checking wiring and trying to communicate via GS911. Eventually googled the ECU code and Cartech site came up. Sent off old ECU on Saturday. By Wednesday, the cloned ECU arrived. All faults now cleared and fired up straight away.

The ECU on my 2014 Passat had water ingress and one of the many pins had broken.My local garage gave me some contacts to see if it could be cloned, also saying dont go to VW as it would cost a fortune. Got in contact with Daniel at Cartech who said post it to us and we will do our best. And boy did they do their best, alway good to communicate with and got it back in a couple of days, pluged it in and away to go. Thank you for your service. Great firm.

Brilliant service, I was quoted £2600 from volkswagen after my ECU gave up, they were charging £1500 for the part alone. I took the ECU out myself and gave it to a local garage who advised me they couldn’t talk to it it was dead and couldn’t be cloned. I called Cartech who told me to send it to them and if they couldn’t do it they would just post it back. Within 2 days of sending it they called me to say it was all cloned over and ready for posting next day delivery, they sent me a link and I made the payment of £360 and received the ECU a couple days later as it was the weekend. Plugged it into the car and it all worked perfectly, saved me £2240 in total!

I was searching the internet high and low to find someone who could fix a ECU on a BMW E60. Come across this company and wow amazing. From paying for the order the ecu was collected within an hour and then fixed and sent back to me all in 3 days.

All done via what's app and the communication was second to none.

From the time I contacted Cartech, the communication was good and advice given. The turnaround to repair/ replace the ECU was great. I think the price was excellent compared to buying a brand new unit from Ford. Well done.

The engineer working on my car sent me a link to the Cartech website so that I could order the replacement ECU for my Zafira. Cartech were easy to deal with, the ECU was well packaged and arrived fairly quickly.
My car is now back on the road and running fine, thanks to the replacement ECU.

Recently had a faulty ecu, i had sent this ecu to another ecu repair shop, once ecu was returned the car never even run so i returned the ecu to repair shop again for them to say it is beyond repair and made no further effort.
I then called cartech for help,
Which is what i should have done in first place. Great service and advice,

I contacted cartech about a faulty ECU unit for an old Mercedes. They were really knowledgeable & helpful. I sent the unit to them by post and received it back within 4 working days. I plugged it in and my car started first time and have had no problems since. The customer service and turnaround was excellent and I am delighted with the outcome. I would definitely recommend them.
