‘Buy cheap, buy twice’. Bought Cartridge World’s own brand compatible multipack cartridges for HP 303XL. Very inferior, both with fit and colour quality. Out of the box, there was no colour printing at all. Followed support FAQ’s. Got some improvement, but some colours were still, and continue to be, obviously missing.

Again 5/5 incredible service and lighting fast shipping/delivery, brought the same cartridge which is far better value for money than the official toner prices, one cart of extra ink lasted me nearly a whole year with light use so thanks, will order again.

edit: they even threw in a teabag in a sealed envelope which i appricate lol.

Don't deserve 1 star. Bought a supposedly compatible cartridge to go in my HP printer. It is not compatible at all an caused my printer to malfunction. After going back and forth several times with a bloke called Goven, answering his many pointless questions, I gave up trying to solve the issue and will not ever buy from this company again. They sell dodgy cartridges from China that wreck your printer, Not worth it, avoid this company.

This is my second time ordering own-brand products from Cartridge World and the second time I have been disappointed. This time I tried two different weights of their photo paper and the results are disappointing, to say the least. Streaky output and the ink rubs off with the slightest touch. I ordered two lots of original Canon paper from them at the same time (same paperweight) and the results with this are fine which rules out the printer being at fault.
Will still buy from them but will stick to the manufacturers consumables going forward.

Superb service from the Hull branch on Cottingham Road. Very professional and high standard of customer care. Highly recommended.

BUYERS BEWARE:

I purchased a pattern toner cartridge from this company in June. When it arrived it was a few days before I got around to installing it. When I did my Laser Printer would not recognise the cartridge the Cartridge World had supplied. I then refitted the old cartridge which was genuine and the printer recognised it.

I then phoned them and outlined the issue I was having, the female staff member was having trouble understanding the issue and suggested that she get their technical people to call back within the hour to resolve the issue as it may be that there were other buttons on the printer that needed to be pressed to get my printer to recognise their pattern cartridge.

Well the hour came and went so I called her back the next morning, she didn’t remember speaking to me or that she was getting technical to call me, I explained that I had decided to return the the cartridge they had supplied for a refund. This is when the real issues started as it was clear they didn’t want to give money back. It took two weeks to get a returns form from them, when I did I sent it back the same day tracked. After about a week I noticed they had not refunded my £ 59.99 !. I had to then take other action to induce them to issue the refund and in all its taken about two months to get my money out of them.

Customer service is non existent as when you speak to them they are diversionary and will have you going through hoops. My advise is to steer well clear and try somewhere else, lastly there cartridges are expensive compared to their competition so on both counts avoid this lot.

I will never use this company again. First order totally messed up, then lied about it.

Purchased HP cartridges which, at first, didnt work. Error message “non genuine cartridge”. CW tech sent me a You Tube link with a hack and this worked. However, I now have to do this every time I print as the printer keeps locking. Additionally, after about 30 pages the quality is already reducing.
False economy in my opinion.

Easy to use web site, received toner cassette within a few days via Royal mail.

Ordered a cartridge from CW; they despatched it promptly. Unfortunately, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and the courier, DHL, gave abysmally poor service - claiming the parcel was "refused". That is utter rubbish. There are only two people here, and neither of us had refused it. CW again were prompt: with apology and prompt refund (we then purchased item from local CW store). The courier then, despite having posted that parcel was on its way back to CW..... delivered it to US!! CW then brought THIS to a action to a very satisfactory conclusion.
