This is specifically to sing the praises of Claire Larder, prescribing pharmacist for ADHD meds. Claire was BRILLIANT with my 17 yr old son. She herself has ADHD and made a great connection with both of us. Her explanations of the different meds, what they impact and what they don’t , side effects etc was fantastic .

Learning Disability
We had spent 18 months struggling with our daughter trying to understand her learning needs.
Following working with CAYP’s, and in particular Dr Laura Surley, it became the first time as parents we finally felt listened to. Laura’s approach instantly put our daughter at ease which enabled her to work through the process and be able to express her own thoughts and feelings.
We would highly recommend this service and Laura to others, and would not hesitate in using in the future.

I cannot recommend this service enough. Both Heidi and Jenni were wonderful clinicians and very patient, informative and caring. The report produced was extremely detailed and perfectly captured his needs and ongoing support options. They made my son feel very comfortable and I felt reassured and supported throughout the whole process. I cannot fault the service from start to finish.

Fantastic service for ASD assessment
Fantastic service for ASD assessment. Alex felt comfortable and respected throughout the process and now has support in place for his transition to high school. Very speedy results in just a few months as our NHS waiting list is over two years.

After waiting so long for my daughters ASD assessment, we spoke with Dr Tania Fox at CAYP. She was very supportive, informative, understanding and helpful. Highly Recommend
Dr Daniel Weisburg assisted me with my sons educational tribunal, him and his whole team have been amazing from start to finish.
He provided a whole report on my son after assessing him which was detailed in depth & attended the tribunal personally.
His knowledge & expertise is incredible & I genuinely cannot thank him enough for all that he did for my son.
I'd absolutely recommend using CAYP to anyone who needs help.

Worth every penny!!
Couldn't recommend cayp enough. Start to finish from receptionist staff to the clinical psychologist, all were helpful and pleasant.
After having trouble with our daughter in school with various issues,we finally sought help with Cayp and seen Dr Rachael Ryan, who was extremely welcoming and reassuring towards my daughter, who can be very anxious. So much so she didn't want to leave in the end!
The clinic was warm and welcoming and had a sort of homely vibe to it which made it feel comfortable.
Dr Ryan was informative and indepth with islas report and went above and beyond our expectations. Would urge anyone having any difficulties to contact cayp 100%, wish I did it sooner, worth every penny and looking forward to a brighter future for my daughter! Thankyou!

Excellent Experience - Highly Recommended
After being let down by the NHS due to the long wait for our 2 year old son to be seen.. We decided to go private and contacted CAYP Psychology for a specialist assessment.
We were given an appointment right away and then attended the Clinic in Whitehaven where we saw Daniel. He was Amazing with our son and really made him feel at ease. The assessments were conducted in a clinic that was very well equipped but also kid friendly. Daniel was engaging and friendly and made the assessments seem more like a game. Communication was excellent throughout and we received the final report within a few days. It was really comprehensive and provided us with very useful strategies to utilise as well as a detailed plan for next steps to be taken.
We are very happy to recommend Daniel and CAYP Psychology to anyone requiring Psychological therapies or assessments.

Couldn't recommend CAYP enough
Karen Tinsley has been fantastic right from the first phone call enquiry, she has been so understanding and caring throughout the assessment and we have booked her now for our daughter. I love the fact that I could pay in instalments which makes it easier than having to pay it outright. She is very easy to talk to and my son really liked her which made the process much better. She has also given some good advice and recommendations now he has an autism diagnosis. I wouldn't think twice about recommending CAYP Psychology in the future.

ADHD assessment
As the waiting lists are so long for an ADHD assessment we decided to go with CAYP. We could not be more grateful to Jade who helped us get a diagnosis for my son. Everything was explained to us and she was so kind and helpful. My son struggles with new people and it was clear to see she put him at ease and the assessment was so interesting to have an insight to what my son was experiencing.

Thorough and helpful assessment service
Our autism assessment for our son by Shri was very thorough and she was very approachable, kind and open during the process. The fact that we could do a screening first and then decide whether to go ahead with the full assessment after having a wee 1-1 session for our son with her was very helpful. I would recommend CAYP psychology.

Fantastic communication throughout
Fantastic communication throughout. Every step of the way is explained and my Consultant made me and my Son's feel at ease and supported. I love the fact that I could pay in instalments which makes it easier than having to pay it outright. Highly successful in gaining support
I cannot recommend this company enough. From start to finish of my son’s assessment was such a smooth process and I was kept informed at all stages of the process. Through this assessment and the comprehensive report following the assessment my son has just been awarded funding through the local authority for 1:1 support. This is something we feel as a family would not have been achievable to prove the need for without the comprehensive detailed report that Daniel did for us. Karen has been more than we imagined and exactly what we needed…
We have recently received a diagnosis from Karen, and we couldn’t be more happy with all of the effort and time she has given to us. I am a full time mum and began to struggle with issues at home, not really understanding why certain situations were happening and also receiving the brunt of episodes, as I now realise I was the safe person and the constant in our daughters life.
Karen gave her all to our family, she quite literally was there at a click of a button being so attentive and giving us her time and reassurance.
Karen has (without necessarily knowing) become a big part of our family. The kids loved her and is regularly spoken of in our home.
Whilst reading the final report for the first time, I did get quite emotional and started to feel a little more lost wondering how I would conquer this going forward, Karen has been unbelievably helpful including strategies, advise, suggestions in other environments, links and loads more. We now see the light at the end of the tunnel and will be forever grateful to Karen. If needed in the future we would go straight to Karen without a doubt. Thank you so much x

Excellent service from CAYP
Excellent service from CAYP. Did my research before settling with them for an autism diagnosis for a teenage girl. Tania was very professional and accommodating irrespective of the delays from our end. She listened to the parents and validated our concerns and most importantly; she made Karah feel at home able to unmask and show up as her true self, something that is hard for Karah to do outside. We received a professional report and the entire service was professionally delivered. I won't hesitate to recommend Tania and CAYP.

We have recently worked with Jade…
We have recently worked with Jade Wilson who has supported my teenage daughter and me as we went through the diagnosis process for both ASD and ADHD. Jade has made the whole process feel easy but it was also so in-depth and she has put her heart and soul into supporting us, in fact, my daughter now feels inspired to follow in her footsteps and work with SEN young people in some way. We felt very lucky to have worked with her. There is not enough stars on here to show how forever grateful we are for Jenni & Heidi! We reached out in April for some advise in regard to my son who was on the waiting list under CAHMS, with the extreme difficulty’s my son was facing at home & school we had to take matters into our own hands, and get a private diagnoses. The whole process was smooth and jenni & Heidi were amazing and we left with an Autism diagnosis! Thank you for everything!x

Had a wonderful experience working with Anna. From start to finish she was very approachable, I felt like I was being listened to and she truly understood my concerns and that they were verified.
