A Fantastic Experience
We engaged CAYP for an ADHD assessment for our daughter. This was after doing a fair amount of research online and making enquiries with various companies. Not only did CAYP have a strong reputation, they also responded to my enquiry quickly and professionally and were very transparent regarding their process, the costs involved and the payment schedule.
We were assigned Sherell as our Psychologist for the assessment and she was absolutely brilliant with us and our daughter from start to finish. Even though we were paying for a service, the experience didn't have a "transactional" feel to it, it just seemed like Sherell wanted to get to the truth of the matter and do the best for our daughter.
There were various things that happened through the assessment process that made us feel like they had gone the extra mile for us, and had perhaps gone beyond a "standard" assessment. These are things I think they could have justified charging us extra for, but there was never even a hint of that. It really did seem like our daughter's wellbeing was their top priority.
We simply cannot praise CAYP highly enough, they completely exceeded our expectations.
For anyone on the fence about this, I realise paying for something like this isn't cheap, and arguably you shouldn't have to pay for it at all if you're a UK taxpayer! We are where we are though, and if you don't want to wait several years for an assessment via CAMS (if you can get one at all) then I would highly recommend considering this route. CAYP do break the total payment up into instalments that are paid throughout the process, and this is a big help to those of us that don't have this sort of money to just throw around.
Now we have a confirmed diagnosis, not only does it give us and our daughter a better understanding of her condition, we can use the report to ensure that she gets the support she needs from her school and GP. I believe that in the long run we will consider this to have been money extremely well spent.

CAYP review
I lost my wife 2 years ago and I have been managing my grief as well as trying to help my kids 7 and 9 navigate through their grief.
They have had grief counselling at school but I thought I needed a more rounded approach.
Serena came on board to help with my 9 year old daughter at first and they had an instant bond and the change in her behaviour was incredible.
I then introduced my son who is younger and the impact wasn’t as good because he struggled to hold his concentration on a Microsoft teams meeting. However Serena didn’t just leave it at that, she coach me to help him with slight tweaks to are routine.
It will always be a working progress, but it is great to know you have the support of Serena with her patience and knowledge.

Great service, would totally recommend
We had worked with Tania several years ago when she worked for the NHS and she diagnosed our son with Autism, we felt really happy and reassured when we had Tania again through CAYP. Tania worked with us to gather information about our daughter, who was later diagnosed with ADHD. Tania was really thorough and we felt heard and understood. Tania's knowledge and expertise were so apparent as she was able to notice the less obvious signs and ask relevant questions to get a full understanding of our daughter's profile. Tania was kind, empathic and personable. Support was offered following the diagnosis and communication was quick, all of our questions were answered within the day.

Fantastic Company
Dr Daniel Weisberg helped our 10year old son overcome mobility and anxiety issues he was facing following an illness quickly and efficiently. Autism Assessment
The process of going through an Autism diagnosis for my daughter was made easier by having very clear information about the various steps of the assessment given on first enquiry. Karen was wonderful to deal with, very personable and clearly very knowledgable. Both Dr Jenni and Dr Heidi ensured my son received the best care and support during his assessment process. My son was experiencing a very challenging time at school prior to me considering the private avenue. I couldn’t consider waiting the 7 years on the NHS. The assessment process was quick and easy but very thorough. I now have a detailed report that has opened many avenues for my son to get the support he needs. Excellent professional and caring service
I simply cannot express our deep felt gratitude for the support that we received for our then 16 year old daughter from Brendan Dunlop at CAYP Psychology. She was suffering from anxiety and in a very dark place with her mental health. The CBT therapy that she had enabled her to get through an extremely difficult time. ADHD Assessment
I referred my13 year old to CAYP for an ADHD Assessment which was completed by Karen.
Karen was amazing from the first phone call. She clearly has exceptional knowledge of ADHD and autism and I can't thank her enough for the support she has provided myself and my family. I feel Karen has gone above and beyond to help us.

Shockingly appalling
Shockingly, awful horrendous company please stay clear. Other companies I have spoken with have said what a terrible assessment this company has done. I am in the midst of requesting a real assessment with a better company that actually has psychiatrists. Who will get down to the bottom line and go above and beyond for children in need. The professionalism of this company is very questionable. People don’t give this company your money to get a report back not completed correctly to be told it’s inconclusive when all the assessments that was asked for wasn’t completed or even done properly. Unfortunately if you’re not satisfied there will be no reasoning. This company will not take parants seriously which I would have to say it a big red flag. For my child has been let down by this service and left in limbo due to this company falling his needs.
This is truth from a real mother.

Also want to add if you put a negative review about this company they will try and have this removed.

It is entirely inappropriate for you to leave a second malicious review under a different account. Your comments are filled with misinformation and nasty words, all because you did not agree with our assessment of autism for you son, paid for by the local authority, not you.
I am extremely proud to be leading an exceptional team, who offer exceptional assessments. I am confident that this is what you received. When you share with me the names and details of these "companies who you have spoken with", I can find out where we can improve. I am, of course, willing to make changes. But in the real world, this is all part of your malicious and nasty reaction, because you disagreed with our opinion. Your malicious approach also included threatening my team until you get what you want. It is not acceptable.
I would rather have a page full of negative reviews and I have the knowledge we completed professional, thorough and accurate assessments, than you shout, complain, threaten and intimidate and we just give you what you want, contrary to the evidence presented.
I will only ask Trustpilot / Google to remove reviews if they are defamatory, harmful, illegal or fake. We do not have the power to remove reviews we simply do not like.
We will not be responding to any further correspondence from you or offering any form of support for you or your family.

Caring and professional. Barbara and her colleagues at CAYP provided us with an autism assessment for our 12 year old child. Barbara was absolutely fantastic. So sensitive and mindful in the way she navagated what is essentially a challenging process into one that our son felt comfortable taking part in. Attention to detail such as providing my son with a bit of time to decompress before the interview part when we arrived after a bus journey and crowded streets. Dr Daniel weasel - flip flop
COMPANY LEAD BY OTHER INDIVIDUALS!!! AND MONEY!!
I had suspicions this company Coerces and conspires with other individuals, I believe my suspicions were correct, especially after our experience and what has transpired.
I will point each problem with this company with an explanation. I will also point out the fact Dr Daniel Weisberg -CEO or director of this company wanted to sort the concerns out informally and not formally with a complaint!!!? Suspicious?
On letting Dr Daniel weasel know of our concerns he agreed that the company has not done the best and needs rectifying to keep the good face of the company who he boasts is not bias, professional and not lead by others, local authorities and he formulated his company to help parents who are struggling with local authorities and waiting lists to help children, unfortunately I believe this to be untrue, especially with our experience.
We got a ASD and ADHD ordered privately for our son because local authorities delayed and stopped a CAMHS assessment taking place, after 6/7 years of waiting. Local authorities also denied support and help in and out of school for our son and also denied anything was wrong with our son and was treated as a normal child without complex needs. Local authorities also delayed a EHCP too and was pushing to keep our child in mainstream school when it was clear a special setting was needed.
Unfortunately local authorities was responsible for the private assessment, and that’s when cayp psychology got involved.
From the start the company listened to the local authorities about parents not having parental responsibility, which was untrue and the company was made aware of this but they dismissed this information and believed local authorities and outcasted us with the assessment, the company also blamed us for not getting involved. After emails back and too the company decided to just note us and not fully involve us or take accurate information, also not accurately recording any information from us either. Previous educational settings were ignored and inaccurate information recorded again. The information that the company put weight too/on was a carers who knew our son for around 5/6 months, local authorities who has met our son once a month in 7/8 months and a tutor who has met our son once a week for a total of 8/10 weeks.
•missing information and missing paperwork
The ASD assessment and ADHD investigation was completely slack dashed and inaccurate. The slack dashed findings did indicate a high presence of ASD and a Moderate presence of ADHD, but no diagnosis of ASD, nor was any other resources used to fully distinguish the extent of the ASD. A professional company and a psychiatrist would easily be able to do this, and many other companies agreed that this company is fraudulent, not very professional and to use a company that uses psychiatrist, rather psychologist. ADHD was not taken further on the account of the local authorities denying the child to be tested. Totally against human rights. A conclusion or a thorough assessment would need to have all paper work!? and information!? To which they did not have and also our son only spent 30mins with this company, not enough time to profile nor conclude an assessment.
Just on a separate note, before the non concluded assessment, the local authorities diagnosed our son with a attachment disorder and also diagnosed mother too, a local authority individual with no medical qualifications at all, so with them denying the ADHD test this would then run with there diagnosis narrative, not very child focused and also why would the company ask the local authorities for the ADHD test to be done or not, when it should have been the parents decision, but that’s where the conspiring comes in.
This assessment was used to imprison a child against their will and formulate a plan of therapies to be forced upon the child and mother.
After Dr Daniel Weisberg agreeing to the assessment being in high doubt and would need to be redone because of all the problems and a ADHD test most certainly should have been done Dr Daniel Weisberg had to communicate with the local authorities via email, we have the email which stipulates this, as it was there responsibility to get a ASD and ADHD assessment done, Dr Daniel Weisberg has completely flip flopped since that because the local authorities are satisfied with the assessment, satisfied the ADHD assessment wasn’t done and satisfied they are imprisoning a young child against his will and refusing the child to medical needs which is a act against his human rights. Dr Daniel Weisberg Also now agrees to this which we have the email to stipulating this, a total FLIP FLOP.
ALL IN ALL STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY WHO ACCEPTS LIES + DISINFORMATION

Unfortunately, your comments are filled with wild accusations and outrageous conspiracy theories, and I cannot accept such accusations.
Your son received an autism assessment, paid for by the local authority. After your assessment was completed, with your involvement, you got in touch with me to share your concerns about the content of the assessment. I have spent a lot of time reviewing the assessment that my colleagues completed, and I have been in contact with most parties involved. It was clear to me that the assessment my colleagues completed was very thorough, professional and completed based on the evidence that was presented to them. The result of the assessment was that they did not make a diagnosis of autism for your son. We are proud of our ethical approach and integrity of our assessments: We do not make life-long diagnoses for children, unless we have sufficient evidence.
Your concerns with our assessment since evolved into wild conspiracies about coercion and conspiring against you and your son. Your claims of "imprisonment" of your son are obscene. He is under the care of the local authority. Your comments about refusing an ADHD assessment for your child being against his human rights is ridiculous: We did not complete an ADHD assessment because we felt that we would not be able to come to an outcome because of all the other challenges in his life. We do not put children through assessments unless we are confident that we can reach an outcome.
You then tried to intimidate my colleagues by making threats of leaving negative reviews and making formal complaints (even though you were already complaining to me, the right person who could help you come to a resolution), and I cannot accept such threats and intimidation. We are not a company where you shout and threaten, and we simply give you what you want.
I would rather you leave negative reviews and I have the knowledge we completed professional, thorough and accurate assessments, than you shout, complain, threaten and intimidate and we just give you what you want, contrary to the evidence presented.
I stand by my colleagues and the values-led, thorough and professional assessment that they completed, and I completely reject the nonsensical and misinformed comments that you have left about us.

Excellent service
I cannot recommend Cayp ( Heidi and Jenni) highly enough. The support they have offered myself and my daughter (age 6) has been excellent. I really feel that they care about the well-being of the child and their family. The whole process from referral to diagnosis has been a quick and seamless one and I can’t thank you enough. Nicola
